IMPACT Wrestling starts off with a video package of Lashley. It shows Lashley training and clips of his matches. He’s unstoppable. It then shows Bobby Roode and his training and his match clips. He took on Lashley last week in a huge contest. Roode was close to winning but Lashley came out on top at the end.

The camera shows the Manhattan Center as the crowd is on their feet. We go to Jeremy Borash in the back. He has a mic and says we have a one night only event. There will be 5 matches for the Gold Rush Tournament. The winners will go in to the main event and the winner of that match will be fighting for any championship in TNA at any time.

A video plays showing MVP. We see MVP putting on his gloves and some in-ring clips. We see him enter TNA as the investor and then his reign of dominance. He is part of the Gold Rush Tournament tonight.

MVP’s music plays and he comes out onto the stage. The crowd boos as he walks down the ramp. He enters the ring. He grabs a mic and says he doesn’t have to say much. He states he is the baddest man in the ring and he is the Mr. 305 and he will be victorious. Music hits and here comes Low Ki! Ki comes out on the stage as the crowd cheers. He comes to the ring.

A video package plays showing Low Ki. He states he has accomplished everything he wanted to accomplish in his career but every time he comes to TNA he wants to accomplish more. The video package shows clips of Low Ki in the ring. We then here that the X-Division put TNA on the map and he was part of it. He says he helped build it and he takes great pride in it.

MVP vs. Low Ki in the Gold Rush Tournament

The match starts and both are on opposite sides of the ring. They move closer to lock-up. Both move around the ring and go to lock-up this time but Low goes to kick MVP. MVP kicks back. MVP takes Ki down by the leg and then puts his shoulders on the mat. Ki kicks out. MVP lifts him up and pushes him away. Both are on their feet. Both walk around the ring again. They go to lock-up but Ki goes behind MVP and locks his hands. MVP backs him up in the corner and elbows him in the head. Ki falls in the corner and MVP stomps on him several times. MVP gets Low on his feet and smashes him face first in the top turnbuckle. MVP whips Ki in the opposing rope but he pops up, but MVP grabs him and tosses him over the ropes and Ki lands on the apron. He fights back and then jumps over the ropes and kicks MVP in the chest. MVP goes in the corner and Ki does several knife edge chops.

Ki goes for the Ki Crusher but MVP stops him in his tracks. He whips Ki in the corner but Ki changes and puts MVP in the corner. Ki pounds his face in but MVP slides away and trips Ki up and he lands on the back of his head on the mat. MVP covers twice but Ki kicks out. He does another but Low Ki kicks out again. MVP gets Low on his feet and whips him in the corner. MVP runs for a kick but Ki moves out of the way and then runs and hits MVP in the face. Ki goes for the Ki Crusher again but MVP blocks. Ki does several knife edge chops but MVP isn’t hurting by it. He unzips his singlet and tells Ki to do it again. He does but MVP punches him. Ki does another knife edge chop and MVP screams in pain but punches Low. Ki does another but MVP punches him several times and then does an uppercut. He hits him with a closeline and covers but Low kicks out. MVP gets Low on his feet, knees him in the gut several times, and Low falls back in the corner. MVP runs to him but Low kicks him in the chest but MVP comes back and kicks him in the face and Ki falls over the ropes all the way to the outside.

MVP jumps over the ropes and lands right on Low Ki as he stands. MVP taunts.

MVP has Low down on the mat. Low slowly yes up but MVP pounds on his chest and then hits him with a knee to the face. MVP bounces off the ropes and does “Ballin”. MVP mocks Ki in the ring. He gets Ki up and whips him in the ropes but Low ducks under the closeline, comes back, jumps in the air on MVP’s shoulders and then kicks him in the back. The crowd does a huge pop. Low gets up and MVP is on his knees. Low kicks MVP in the chest several times and then does one final huge one and he covers. MVP kicks out. Ki springboards off the ropes and kicks MVP right in the face. He rolls out of the ring. Low Ki runs, jumps on the top rope, and drops an elbow to the top of MVP’s head. Low Ki gets MVP up and rolls him in the ring. He covers: 1-2-OH!

Low Ki grabs MVP and goes for the Ki Crusher but MVP blocks it again. Ki kicks MVP in the chest and goes for the Ki Crusher again but MVP blocks it. Low walks back and then goes for a summersault but MVP rolls under him and trips Low up. He stands and kicks Low Ki right in the face, covers, and wins!

Winner: MVP

The BroMans are in the back. Robbie E is talking about Velvet Sky and her hot body. He then goes on to say that Angelina Love is just as hot. Robbie is in such a good mood tonight as he can win the Gold Rush Tournament tonight and then will be on The Amazing Race with Brooke. He will have two Knockouts. BOOM! Jessie states there are cameras everywhere as he was on Big Brother. People will find out. Jessie then points to the camera that we are watching from. Robbie turns and sees the red light and panics. He then runs away.

A video package plays from last week’s Triple Threat Tag Team Ladder match. We will see a full video recap next.

We see a camera shot of New York City. Mike Tenay and Taz are talking as they discuss Eric Lynch as he passed away earlier this week. He was part of the Howard Stern Show and was a huge wrestling fan. Eric, “Bye for now!”

A video package plays showing Team 3D, The Hardyz, and The Wolves! These three are taking the tag team division by storm not only in TNA Wrestling but in mainstream wrestling in the United States. They are in a Tag Team Series where the first team who wins two matches will be Tag Team Champions.

We will find out next week what match The Wolves pick for the final stipulation for the Tag Team Series.

Music hits and here comes Robbie E! He walks down the ramp with a huge cocky smile on his face. He gets in the ring and grabs a mic. Robbie states, “Let me ask you something… when you look at Robbie E what do you see?” He goes on to talk about his eyebrows, his tank top, his perfect tan, and really big muscles. Most of all, you see a guy from new Jersey who is tougher than anyone in New York! In fact, Robbie is tougher than anyone in the United States. He is tougher than anyone in the world. He is not just a superstar… he is Inter-Bro-National! Tonight, he is going to prove it… BOOM!

Music plays and here comes Tajiri! He makes his way down the ramp as the crowd cheers.

Robbie E vs. Tajiri in the Gold Rush Tournament

The crowd chants, “Welcome back, welcome back!” Robbie walks up to him and points to Tajiri in the chest but Tajiri isn’t going to take it. He pushes Robbie back and then whips him in the ropes. He kicks Robbie in the leg. Robbie goes outside of the ring. Tajiri follows him but Robbie smashes him back first into the ring apron. He rolls him back in and covers but Tajiri kicks out. Robbie puts him in the corner, attacks him, and then does a snapmare and applies a headlock. Tajiri flops around and gets on his feet. He elbows his way out of the headlock but Robbie punches him in the face. Tajiri fights back and they continue to go back and forth. Robbie goes into the ropes but Tajiri kicks him and then does some punches and another kick. He stands but Robbie whips him in the ropes. He does a handstand flip and elbows Robbie in the face.

Both stand and Robbie puts Tajiri in the corner. He runs to him but Tajiri does the tarantula. He let’s go. Tajiri goes for his kick but Robbie knees him in the gut and goes for a DDT. Tajiri comes back. Robbie tries to get advantage as he pushes Tajiri in the referee but he turns, sprays mist in Robbie’s eyes and kicks Robbie right in the head. He covers and wins!

Winner: Tajiri

Rockstar Spud is backstage. The camera man walks up to him and asks him about Ethan Carter III. Spud says all of the rumors about their turmoil is all from the internet. Spud looks at his phone and sees Ethan calling him. He shows the camera and answers it.

Austin Aries is walking backstage. He takes a swig of water.

The camera shows Rockstar Spud in a stairwell. He is on the phone talking to Ethan. From the tone of Spud’s voice, Ethan was yelling at him. Spud then tells Ethan that he will be here next week. Ethan hangs up on Spud as Spud goes to talk but there’s no answer. He turns and sees the camera. Spud runs the other way up the steps.

Austin Aries comes out and gets right in the ring. Music hits and we see Rebel. Crazzy Steve comes out next. Then we see The Freak! Knux comes out at the end with a tall hat on and a cane. Knux is the man in action tonight. The Menagerie all get in the ring and do some taunting. They then leave the ring except for Knux.

Austin Aries vs. Knux in the Gold Rush Tournament

They move around the ring as the crowd chants, “Austin Aries, Austin Aries, Austin Aries.” Aries raises his hand in the middle of the ring. Knux raises his hand and they lock-up for the test of strength. Aries falls, rolls back and twists Knux’s arm as he applies a headlock. Knux pushes Aries in the ropes and he does a huge shoulder block to Aries. He falls. Knux goes into the ropes and then does a summersault over Aries. Aries stands and smiles as he was quite impressed by the handstand. They go to lock-up but Aries ducks and then does a handstand of his own. The crowd roars. Aries says it is 1-1 now. They lock-up and Knux works on Aries’ arm. He twists it but Aries rolls around and now works on Knux’s arm. Knux rolls through, does a hip-up and pushes Aries away. The crowd appreciates it. Aries does a little bow and tells Knux to do it. He goes to do it but Aries grabs him and tries for the Brain Buster but Knux pushes him out.

Knux didn’t like that and goes full speed at Aries. Aries fights back. He goes into the ropes. Knux runs to him but Aries pulls the ropes down and Knux goes through to the outside. Aries runs into the ropes and goes for the suicide dive but Knux kicks Aries right in the head as he was about to leave his feet. Knux gets in the ring and whips Aries in the ropes and hits a huge dropkick. Aries slowly gets up and goes to the corner. Knux runs to him but Aries moves. He fights back with punches and kicks. He backs off and runs to Knux but Knux lifts Aries up and he lands on the apron. He does several forearm shots and then jumps back in the ring. He hits Knux in the head and Knux goes through the ropes. He’s dazed. He walks around the ring. Aries gets ready and hits the suicide dive but Knux moves and Austin hits Freak and Crazzy Steve.

Knux grabs Aries and drops him face first onto the apron. He brings him in the ring and hits the side walk slam. He covers but Aries kicks out. Aries gets up in the corner. Knux runs to him for a big splash. He bounces off the ropes and does a flying cross body. He covers but Aries kicks out. Knux raises his arms. He grabs Aries. He lifts him up but Aries does a hurricanrana and Knux goes shoulder first into the steel post. He gets up in the corner and Aries does a full speed dropkick. He goes for the Brain Buster but Knux pushes him away. Aries bounces off the ropes and hits two disc forearms (one to the front of the head and one to the back). He then does another missile dropkick to Knux as he goes in the corner. He lifts him up and hits the Brain Buster!! He covers and wins!

Winner: Austin Aries

The camera shows Magnus walking backstage as his match is next.

A video package plays showing Lashley vs. Bobby Roode from last week. It was quite an impressive match with Lashley coming out as the winner. We see Roode talking at the end saying he didn’t get the job done but he came so close. He fought hard. He fought with passion and determination. The only thing in his sight is Lashley and the TNA World Championship.

Music hits and here comes Magnus! Magnus walks out on the stage and comes right down the ramp. He gets in the ring. Anderson’s music plays and he comes out on the stage. The spotlight is on him and he reaches up. The microphone drops. He does his famous introduction and goes to the ring.

Magnus vs. Mr. Anderson in the Gold Rush Tournament

Magnus attacks Anderson as soon as he enters the ring. Magnus punches him and puts him in the corner. Anderson fights back with punches but Magnus applies a headlock. Anderson pushes Magnus in the corner and does a shoulder block. He covers Magnus. He kicks out. Both get up and Anderson goes for the Mic Check but Magnus elbows his way out and rolls out of the ring. Ken goes for a baseball slide but Magnus lifts the apron up and traps Ken. He attacks him and then gets in the ring. Ken slides out from the apron. He slowly gets up on the outside of the ring. Magnus attacks him several times. He grabs Ken through the middle rope. He drags him in the ring and drops him on his head. Magnus covers but Ken kicks out. He does it again but Ken kicks out again. Magnus punches Ken several times. He gets him up and does a snapmare and applies a headlock. Ken gets up on his feet and elbows his way out. He runs into the ropes but Magnus follows and closelines him as Ken bounces off. Magnus covers but Ken kicks out.

Magnus gets Ken up and whips him in the corner. He runs to him and smashes him. Magnus whips Ken in another corner and smashes him again with a closeline. Ken slowly gets to his knees. Magnus grabs him and whips him again in the corner. He runs to him but Ken elbows him and then takes Magnus down. Both are down as Ken fell with him. Both slowly get up. Magnus punches Ken in the face. Ken punches back. It’s back and forth now. They “boo” for Magnus and “yay” for Ken. Ken goes in the ropes. Magnus follows him but Ken closelines him down this time and then several more. He does a back elbow and then a spinning neck breaker. He lifts Magnus up on his shoulders but Magnus slides out. Magnus goes to the corner. Ken runs to him but Magnus elbows him and then hops up to the top rope. Ken grabs him and puts him on his shoulders. He does a roll through and covers. Magnus kicks out.

Both get up. Ken goes for a Mic Check but Magnus does an arm drag to get out. Both get up. Magnus grabs Ken and smashes him down. He covers but Ken puts his foot on the bottom rope. Magnus gets up and stalks him. Ken slowly gets up. Magnus grabs him. He goes to spin him around and drop him down like he did seconds before but Ken slides out, grabs Magnus and hits the Mic Check. He covers and wins.

Winner: Mr. Anderson

Abyss is walking in the back as his match is next. We will also take a look at the upcoming Gail Kim vs. Havok match set for next week.

We see Christy Hemme in a video. She states she is on a Florida beach on the set of the Knockouts 2015 calendar. It shows the Knockouts in bikinis as they show off their bodies.

A video package plays showing Team 3D, Devon and Bully Ray, as they came into TNA Wrestling in 2005. It shows some of their biggest moments in the company. They are one of the best tag teams in wrestling history… if not the best. They started as a tag team since 1996. They will go into TNA’s Hall of Fame this year.

We see recaps of MVP vs. Low Ki, Robbie vs. Tajiri, Knux vs. Austin Aries, and Magnus vs. Mr. Anderson.

A video package plays showing the hype for Gail Kim vs. Havok for next week. Gail Kim tells Havok to “Bring it”!

Music plays and here comes Abyss! Abyss walks down the ramp and gets in the ring.

The camera shows outside of the Manhattan Center in New York City as they close out their time here in the Big Apple.

Samuel Shaw comes out and enters the ring.

Abyss vs. Samuel Shaw in the Gold Rush Tournament

Shaw stares at Abyss. He slowly walks forward. So does Abyss. They stare at each other in the ring. They look up and down at each other. Shaw then extends his hand but Abyss does his cross arm taunt in the face of Shaw. Abyss backs up. Shaw backs up. They lock-up but Abyss pushes Shaw down. Shaw gets up and locks-up again but Abyss pushes him down. Shaw gets up in the corner. Abyss runs to him but Shaw moves and Abyss hits the corner. Shaw fights back with punches and chops. He tries to whip Abyss in the ropes but he can’t move the big man. Abyss takes Shaw down with a closeline and then goes for a chokeslam but Samuel gets out of it. He bounces off the ropes and Abyss goes for another chokeslam but Abyss pushes Samuel over the ropes. Shaw falls outside. Abyss exits and attacks Shaw on the outside as he smashes him against the steel guard rail. Abyss breaks the referee count. He goes after Shaw as he is leaning against the steel post but Shaw moves and Abyss hits his hand against the post.

Shaw comes back as he smashes Abyss’ face on the steel steps and then against the guard rail. Abyss grabs a chair from nearby and goes to swing it at Shaw but Samuel moves and Abyss hits the ring post. Shaw grabs Abyss’ arm and hits it against the steel post several times and then against the ring steps. He then does it again. Abyss holds his arm as he rolls in the ring. Shaw slides in. Abyss gets up in the corner. Shaw attacks him with hits to the arm and then pulls it against the ropes. Abyss pushes Shaw back twice. Abyss comes out of the corner. Shaw twists the arm and drops it down on his shoulder. Shaw continues the attack. He then steps on the hand. Shaw climbs the corner and jumps but Abyss grabs him for a chokeslam but Shaw hits the arm away as Abyss has no strength. Shaw bounces off the ropes but Abyss gets up and hits him. Shaw goes in the corner and Abyss runs and smashes him. He continues to attack him. Shaw tries to fight back but Abyss chokeslams him. Shaw rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair. Abyss pushes the referee out of the way as he wants Samuel. He goes through the middle rope but Shaw hits him in the face with it. Shaw enters the ring and runs in the ropes but Abyss grabs him and hits the Black Hole Slam. He covers!

Winner: Abyss

A graphic shows saying that we will hear from Bobby Roode next week as he talks about his future.

Austin Aries walks out as his music plays and enters the ring. MVP comes out next and stays at ringside. Abyss comes out next and gets in the ring. Tajiri comes out next. Mr. Anderson comes out last.

Austin Aries vs. MVP vs. Abyss vs. Tajiri vs. Mr. Anderson in the Finals in the Gold Rush Tournament

Everyone is arguing on who should start the match. MVP goes right outside of the ring. Abyss goes after Austin Aries while Tajiri goes after Mr. Anderson. Ken and Tajiri fight on the outside while Abyss and Austin start fighting on the outside too. MVP enters the ring and taunts. Tajiri and Ken stare at him. Abyss stops fighting and gets in the ring behind MVP. MVP turns and his smile is gone. Abyss and MVP start the match. MVP backs up and tags Anderson. Anderson smiles and laughs. He enters and walks around the ring. He locks-up with Abyss but Abyss pushes him in the corner. He punches him several times in the face. Abyss whips Ken in the opposing corner and does a running smash to him. He chokes him with his hands. Abyss whips him in the opposing corner but Ken bounces out and hits a swinging neck breaker. He covers but Abyss kicks out. Tajiri tags himself in. He enters and Ken bows to him.

They walk around the ring and lock-up. Ken applies a headlock but Tajiri whips him in the ropes. Ken comes back with a shoulder block and hits a knife edge chop as Tajiri sands. Tajiri does one back. Ken does another and they go back and forth now. Ken punches him while Tajiri punches back. Ken kicks him and Tajiri kicks back. Tajiri whips him in the corner but Tajiri switches it and goes after Ken but Ken changes it and does a shoulder block. He does a roll-up but Ken kicks out. Ken stands and goes to tag MVP but MVP gets off of the apron. Ken goes to Tajiri for Mic Check but he does an arm drag. Ken stands and Austin Aries tags in. He enters and walks around. They lock-up but Tajiri takes Aries down and works on the leg but Aries switches and works on the arm. Tajiri turns it around for a cover but Aries kicks out. Both stand.

Tajiri applies a headlock. Aries whips him in the ropes and does an arm drag takedown. Tajiri does a head scissors but Aries gets out and hits a low dropkick. He covers but Tajiri kicks out. Tajiri comes back and kicks Aries in the back of the leg. Aries whips him but Aries does the hand stand jumping back elbow. He covers but Austin kicks out. Both stand and continue to fight.

Aries and Tajiri continue to fight in the ring. Tajiri goes for the Tarantula but Aries pushes him out of the ring. Aries goes for the suicide dive but MVP attacks him as he goes into the ropes. Tajiri enters the ring and goes for a cover but Aries kicks out. Ken tags in and Tajiri exits. Ken does several back breakers to Aries but as he goes for one more Aries does a roll-up. Anderson kicks out. Both get up and Ken puts Aries on his shoulders but Ken blocks it. Aries hits the Side Russian Leg Sweep. He goes to tag MVP but MVP leaves the apron. Ken tags Abyss. Abyss enters and grabs Aries by the throat. Aries kicks him and then punches him in the face. He goes for the disc closeline but Aries fights back. Aries backs away and finally tags MVP. He flips MVP in the ring. Abyss attacks him several times with closelines. MVP stands in the corner and Abyss runs to him for a smash but he moves and tags Tajiri. He enters and goes to kick Abyss several times but Abyss whips him in the ropes. Tajiri goes for the hand stand back elbow but Abyss doesn’t fade. He then sprays mist in the face of Abyss as the referee wasn’t looking. Abyss tags Ken. Tajiri continues the offense and does the Tarantula. He releases it. Ken and Tajiri on the top. Ken does the senton from the top rope. MVP tagged Tajiri before they left the corner though. MVP gets in and Ken turns and sees him. MVP kicks him in the face and covers but Aries breaks it.

Aries goes after MVP but they fight back and forth. MVP does a belly to belly suplex. MVP runs to Aries but he lifts the ropes down and MVP falls through. Aries then does a suicide dive on MVP and Abyss. He brings MVP in and then tags himself in as Ken is in the corner. Aries climbs the corner and does a missile dropkick. MVP goes in the corner and then Aries does the running dropkick. MVP kicks back though and then goes for a kick to the face but Aries ducks and does a roll-up.

Winner and for a future TNA Title shot: Austin Aries
