IN RING SEGMENT
JOHN LAURINATIS + Mr. McMAHON + SHEAMUS: John Laurinatis was introduced to the crowd as he came down to the ring. Before John can even fully introduce himself, Mr. McMahon’s music hit and out came the boss to the ring. Vince refuses to shake John’s hand as they aren’t buddies and it is all about business, as this is a job evaluation. Vince then said to John to give him one reason why he shouldn’t be fired right now. Laurinatis said he had two words “ People Power” he listens to them and empowers them, and they love him for it. The fans boo, and Johnny said that these are the same fans that booed Vince for years. John said they are both visionaries and businessmen. McMahon said that Johnny was the reason for the Brock Lesnar contract and two lawsuits, he is the man who signed the wrong one-legged wrestler, and he signed the Big Show to a ridiculous contract. Laurinatis said that he knows Vince has his problems with Show but after his steel cage match with Cena at No Way Out, Vince will see that John made the right decision. John went on to say that he works well with the locker room and they all love him. This is when Sheamus’s music hit and out came the Celtic Warrior. Sheamus said that he felt the need to come out and tell Vince that Johnny is a friend. The kind of friend that will fine you for half a million dollars because he can, he is the kind of friend that will hold a grudge because you accidentally bump into him. Sheamus then said that Johnny is a friend who happens to be the worst General Manager in WWE history, and behalf on everyone in back, in the arena, and at home he implores Vince to kick Johnny to the curb. John Laurinatis takes offense and said that he is going to find someone to face Sheamus right now. Before he can leave Vince stops him and says that Johnny better impress him because if he doesn’t, at the end of the night Vince will fire John Laurinatis. As Johnny goes to the back, Vince takes Johnny’s scooter and then drives it up the ramp and then throws it off the side of the stage.
SINGLES NON-TITLE MATCH
Sheamus© defeated Tensai w/ Sakamoto via pin fall: Sheamus won with the Brogue Kick.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
JOHN LAURINATIS + TEDDY LONG + MR. McMAHON + VICKI GUERRERO: Vince, Johnny, and Teddy were standing in Johnny’s office and Vince said that was strike one. Vince then asked Johnny who was going to face Sheamus for the World title. Vicki then walked into the room and said that she felt that as both Dolph and Jack are former World Champions and so they should have a triple threat match. Vince liked it but wanted to hear John’s idea. John passed it on to Teddy who suggested that the four former World Champions on RAW, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, The Great Khali and Christian should meet in a four-way elimination match with the winner facing Sheamus. Johnny takes the credit and tells Teddy to go get them coffee, and then tried to go for a fist bump with Vince, who said Johnny has tiny hands and then walked out of the room.
IN RING SEGMENT
TENSAI + SAKAMOTO: Tensai was in the ring beating his follower Sakamoto and then threw him out of the ring and continued the assault outside of the ring throwing Sakamoto into the announcer’s table, the ring post and the barrier. The officials run out to break it up as Tensai continues to yell at Sakamoto.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
MATT STRYKER + R-TRUTH + BIG SHOW: R-Truth was standing with Matt Stryker, and Stryker brought up Big Show’s attack on Truth and Kingston. Truth said he was fine but Little Jimmy was traumatized by it. Truth said that this Sunday the Big Show is going to lose to John Cena. Before Truth can continue Big Show hits him with the WMD.
MIXED TAG TEAM MATCH
Ricardo Rodriguez & Beth Phoenix defeated Santino Marella & Layla El via pin fall: Beth won with the Glam Slam on Layla. After the match Ricardo was bragging and Santino ripped off Ricardo’s shirt to reveal a Justin Bieber t-shirt, which embarrassed Ricardo causing him to run to the back.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
DAVID OTUNGA + MR. McMAHON + KOFI KINGSTON + JOHN LAURINATIS: David complimented Vince on his suit and then said that he would like to tell Vince that he believes John Laurinatis is doing a great job but if he were to be fired he couldn’t help but suggest that his replacement should be someone with a Harvard Law education, and someone built just like Mr. McMahon. Vince said that he likes the way David kisses up but he doesn’t like back stabbers or lawyers. Before he can continue Kofi burst into the room asking where John was because wants Big Show after what he did to R-Truth. John Laurinatis then walked in saying that R-Truth isn’t doing all that well, and then Kofi said that isn’t a surprise and that if he doesn’t get Big Show tonight he will get him, himself. John said fine we will have a preview of Sunday, as Kofi will face the Big Show inside of a steel cage.
IN RING SEGMENT
DANIEL BRYAN + CM PUNK + KANE + AJ LEE + JOHN LAURINATIS: Daniel Bryan came down to the ring and said that he is nothing like CM Punk and Kane. Bryan went on to say that both Punk and Kane have a weakness, a 95-pound weakness named AJ. Bryan then said that both of them are obsessed with a woman who is still in love with him, and he can’t blame her since had a chance to be with someone as great as him, as “once you go Bryan, there is no point in tryin.” He however has no interest in AJ he just has interest in the WWE Championship. He then proclaimed he will emerge as the WWE Champion on Sunday. CM Punk then came out and said that for someone who is over AJ, he sure does talk about her a lot. CM Punk then said that AJ is sort of crazy and he digs crazy chicks, however the only thing he does dig more is the WWE Championship. Punk said that no matter what he is walking out of No Way Out still the WWE Champion. Bryan then said that he used to respect Punk but he has changed, and more importantly the biggest sell out in this entire company is Punk. CM then brings up about how he spoke his mind on the stage just about a year ago. He continued to say that he hasn’t changed a single bit since then, and he has achieved success on his own terms but he can’t say the same about Bryan. Punk then said that since Bryan broke through the glass ceiling he has become self-absorbed and a goat faced moron. Then Kane’s music hit and out he came to the ring. Kane reminded them of what he has accomplished over the years and how his “pipe bombs” are actual pipe bombs, and that is why he will leave No Way Out as the WWE Champion. AJ then ran down to the ring pleading for them to all stop. AJ then said regardless of what Kane says she looked into his eyes last week and say that he has a heart. Punk then chimed in to say, “You gotta love crazy chicks”. AJ then said to Daniel that you never get over your first love, and she knows she hasn’t and then she turns to Punk and said that he is the coolest guy she’s ever known. Bryan then asked what the point was in all of this, and AJ says that she knows this Sunday the best man will win. John Laurinatis then comes on the Titantron and said that tonight Bryan and Kane will be teaming up to take on the team of CM Punk and AJ later tonight.
FATAL FOUR-WAY ELIMINATION MATCH
Dolph Ziggler defeated Christian, Jack Swagger & The Great Khali via pin fall: Ziggler won with the Zig Zag on Christian to become the new number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
NATALYA + MR. McMAHON + FUNKADACTLYS + ZACK RYDER: Vince was with Natalya who was going on and on about wanting to bring the whole Hart family back to do something as it was so much fun when Vince had his match with Bret Hart. Vince then said they would talk later and she said she would wait for him. As he made his way down the hall the Funkadactlys stop Vince and ask him if he can reverse John Laurinatis’s ruling banning Brodus Clay from Raw. Vince said he couldn’t which made them said and then they said they though he was funky. Vince thinks for a moment before saying someone call his momma, and then Clay’s music hits and the three begin to dance backstage, once they stop Vince starts to walk again and bumps into a speechless Zach Ryder, which Vince says “Woo Woo Woo You know It” and then walked off.
TWO ON ONE HANDICAP MATCH
Ryback defeated Willard Fillmore & Rutherford Hayes via pin fall: Ryback won with the Shell Shocked.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
MR. McMAHON + HORNSWOGGLE + JOHN CENA + DAVID OTUNGA + WILLAM REGAL: Vince and Hornswoggle are watching Hornswoggle impersonating JR. Vince then gives his impersonation. Cena then walks into room and Hornswoggle leaves the room. Cena said that Laurinatis is doing a horrible job and needs to be fired. Vince McMahon said that thanks for the advice but Cena did lose to The Rock at Wrestlemania. Cena then listed everyone Vince has lost to at Mania. Vince then asked Cena if he can win at No Way Out. Cena said he will handle his business just like Vince should as well. Cena then walks out and in comes David Otunga who said he knows what Vince said earlier about lawyers and he had been thinking, Vince then stopped him and said that no one respects someone who kisses ass. Vince then turned and said no offense and the camera panned to show William Regal sitting there.
STEEL CAGE MATCH
Big Show defeated Kofi Kingston via exiting the cage door: Show hit Kingston with the WMD and knocked him out cold. Big Show waited for a moment before walking out of the Cage.
SINGLES MATCH
Sin Cara defeated Curt Hawkins via pin fall: Sin Cara won with the La Mistica.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
DANIEL BRYAN + MR. McMAHON: Daniel Bryan was backstage stretching, getting ready for his match when Vince walked up to him to wish him luck for tonight. Bryan said that surprised him and Vince said that Bryan personified the old saying “Don’t judge a book by the cover”. Bryan said that he has already been fired by this company once, and he proved them wrong. Vince said that maybe true but unlike how fast Bryan lost the championship at Wrestlemania, he has never finished anything in 18 seconds, and then walked away leaving him to think about that.
SINGLES MATCH
Vader defeated Heath Slater via pin fall: Vader won with the Vader Bomb. Before the match Slater talked about how they shouldn’t be celebrating past stars but rather current ones like him because it’s Slater Time!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
CM PUNK + AJ LEE: CM Punk came up to AJ and told her not to worry about this match because it is nothing more than a glorified handicap match, and that they can trust one another. AJ interjects that they both really like each other too. Punk then said that she just needs to stand on the apron and not do anything crazy. She said okay and then kissed him on the cheek before skipping off.
MIXED TAG TEAM MATCH
CM Punk & AJ Lee defeated Kane & Daniel Bryan via pin fall: Punk won with the GTS on Bryan. AJ was in the ring with Kane and jumped into his arms and kissed him passionately causing him to leave the ring and leaving Bryan alone.
IN RING SEGMENT
JOHN LAURINATIS + MR. McMAHON + JOHN CENA + BIG SHOW: Mr. McMahon came down to the ring with security in tow. Vince said that he loves Hartford as his daughter was born here so it is only fitting that one life began here another should end career wise anyways. Vince then asked John Laurinatis to come to the ring and out he came. John started off by saying he didn’t like what Vince did to his scooter. He then said that no matter what Vince chooses to do he would never think of hitting him so there is no need for security. Vince said that they weren’t for him but rather to help escort John out of the building. John then started to go on about why Vince needed him and that Vince should do the right thing and keep him in charge. Vince is about to fire John Laurinatis when Big Show’s music hit and out he came to the ring. Show said that while John may have made a few mistakes he did do one right thing and that is give Big Show an iron clad contract, so he can do whatever he wants, and even if Show was fired he would still be paid millions of dollars a year to do nothing. Show continued by saying that this isn’t John’s fault, its Vince’s fault because of everything he made Show do over the last fourteen years. Big Show then said that Vince shouldn’t be worried about firing John Laurinatis he should be worried about his golden goose, cash cow, John Cena because at No Way Out he’s going to get his feathers plucked. This then brought out John Cena to the ring. Cena said that first Big Show blamed Cena, then it was the fans, now its Vince who next will he blame? Cena then said that the real person he should blame is John Laurinatis. Cena said the difference is now everything revolves around the Big Show as he now has the contract, management backing him, the match he wants and the opponent he wants. The thing is now Big Show has made it where he has to win, and if he loses there are no more excuses and no one left to blame, and no one will ever look at him as the World’s Largest Athlete again, and with his contract he will have to show up every week and face them as the sell out he is. Vince then cuts off Cena and said that if Big Show loses at No Way Out he will say those two words to John Laurinatis. Before Vince can finish hell breaks loose between Show and Cena and in the scuffle Big Show hits Vince with the WMD. Laurinatis then yelled at Big Show to leave as Cena attended to Vince with the trainer.
