“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

The entire RAW locker room is on the stage to kick off the show. WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon is in the ring. McMahon welcomes everyone to Monday Night RAW. McMahon introduces Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to the ring for an historic announcement. Stephanie says it’s a rare thing to be able to make history, making moments people will remember for the rest of their lives. Triple H wants to take a moment to acknowledge the WWE Superstars. The crowd gives them a hand. Triple H acknowledges not just the ones on the stage, but across the brands. Every superstar that’s ever stepped in the ring with the desire to entertain the world. Nights like tonight happen because of them. Their dedication, passion, sacrifice, blood, sweat, and tears make all of this possible. They don’t do it alone. It’s a giant team. There’s a bond created when you’re a WWE Superstar. The bond is created when you step through the ropes and put the ultimate trust in their opponent’s hands. That bond is the strongest it’s ever been.

With that said, Triple H asks all the women to step up on stage. All RAW and Smackdown women are there. Triple H says the men that stand behind them truly support them. The WWE Universe supports them as well. They’ve supported them from the first Iron Man, Money in the Bank, Hell in a Cell match to now. They have stood in awe watching them, some with a tear in their eye as they have stolen the show again and again. Triple H is getting choked up. Triple H wants to let them know they are so proud. Stephanie says moments happen because of incredible talent, not because someone deems it important. They demanded more opportunities for the women in WWE, starting a hashtag that stated “Give Divas a chance.” That opened doors for women all around. 30 second matches became main events and divas became the superstars they were meant to be. They’ve shown that women can do whatever they want. They’re going to do another first-ever announcement. On October 28, over 50 women then, now, forever will participate in a show called “Evolution.” It will be the first all-women’s PPV. The women clap and hug on stage while Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Mr. McMahon applaud them.

Michael Cole announces that the RAW Women’s Championship, Smackdown Women’s Championship, and NXT Women’s Championship will be defended at Evolution. We’ll also see the finals of the Mae Young Classic on that show.

Roman Reigns will take on Bobby Lashley with the winner facing Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam for the WWE Universal Championship. Coming up next, the B-Team will defend their RAW Tag Team Championships against Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt.

-Commercial Break-

The B-Team is talking about how excited they are about Evolution coming up. Bo Dallas says they’ve been on a great run and it’s been like living a dream. 10 weeks ago they could barely win a match. Now they’re defending the RAW Tag Team Championships. Curtis Axel says they were pretty rotten, but he wouldn’t want to be on this ride with anyone but Dallas. The “B” stands for brothers. Dallas says he’s the brother he never had, an inside joke. They leave, but then come back to get their RAW Tag Team Championships.

“Ladies and gentlemen… Elias.”

Elias strums a chord and greets the crowd. He starts to play until he’s cut off by “WOKEN” Matt Hardy’s music.

RAW Tag Team Championships
Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt vs. The B-Team (c’s)

Matt Hardy will start against Bo Dallas. They lock up, and Hardy applies a side headlock. Dallas shoves him to the corner, so Bray Wyatt blind tags in. It’s brother vs. brother. They circle the ring before hitting the ropes, and Wyatt annihilates him with a flying body block. Wyatt uppercuts him before punching him in the corner. Wyatt then connects with a short-arm clothesline. Wyatt goes for Sister Abigail, but Axel runs in. Wyatt uppercuts him, and Hardy runs in to help. Wyatt does a crabwalk to scare The B-Team out of the ring.

We come back from the break to see Axel beating on Wyatt. Axel hits a snapmare and attacks for a two count. Axel then applies a chin lock. The Revival are backstage watching this match. Axel shoves Wyatt to the corner and tags in Dallas. Axel hits a knee to the face, and Dallas picks up a two count. Dallas then goes to a chin lock. Wyatt fights up, but Dallas stops him. Dallas hits the ropes, but Wyatt viciously takes him down.

Hardy and Axel are tagged in. Hardy punches away at Axel before sending him into the ropes for a back elbow. Hardy follows up with a clothesline before bouncing him off the turnbuckles. Hardy gets the crowd fired up with a “DELETE” chant before clotheslining him in the corner and hitting a Side Effect for a near fall. Hardy goes to the second rope and leaps off with an elbow to the back. Hardy starts up another “DELETE” chant and connects with a Twist of Fate, but Dallas breaks up the pin. Wyatt runs in, but Dallas turns him around and knocks him onto Hardy, who is then pinned by Axel in an upset.

Winners and still RAW Tag Team Champions: The B-Team

Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt applaud The B-Team before Hardy hits Dallas with a Twist of Fate while Wyatt hits Axel with Sister Abigail. They stand over The B-Team.

Later tonight, we’ll see Finn Balor take on Drew McIntyre. We’ll also see Roman Reigns take on Bobby Lashley for the right to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam.

-Commercial Break-

O.A.R. are at ringside. They’re helping out Connor’s Cure.

Finn Balor is talking with Chad Gable about Evolution when someone walks by with his suitcase. Someone then walks by with his jacket, so Balor stops him. They’ve been given strict orders to move him to a new room. Constable Corbin ordered it. The new “locker room” is a kid’s outdoor playhouse. Baron Corbin then walks up laughing and says after Extreme Rules, Balor is too big of a superstar to not have his own locker room. This room suits his stature. Balor thanks him and calls it “Finn’s Funhouse.” Corbin is angry and wishes him luck against Drew McIntyre. They made it seem like this match wasn’t already announced.

Replays are shown of Sasha Banks saving Bayley from an attack last week on RAW. Banks then admitted she loves Bayley.

Charly Caruso interviews Bayley and Sasha Banks. She asks if they’re ready to show that they can put aside their differences. Bayley says they have their differences, but the differences make them stronger. Banks says they are two very different people, but they have the same dream. They’re giggling and looking teary eyed talking about Evolution. They’re ready to be on the same page. Bayley says it was nice to hear what her best friend truly thinks and feels. Bayley says they’re going to take over the world.

-Commercial Break-

The woman takes Banks down and shoulders her in the corner. The other woman is tagged in, but Banks fights her and her partner off. Banks slaps her and tags in Bayley. Banks whips Bayley into her. Bayley then hits a weak looking knee to the head of the girl before Banks applies the Bank Statement for the submission.

Winners by Submission: Sasha Banks and Bayley

Bayley raises Banks’ hand, and they smile at each other. Banks then extends her arms, and they hug. They stand there hugging for a while… and that’s it.

We’ll hear from Mr. Monster in the Bank, Braun Strowman, next.

-Commercial Break-

“Ladies and gentlemen… Elias.”

Elias strums a chord and announces that his debut album is available on iTunes. It’s already in the Top 20 on the Top 200 list.

Elias is cut off by Braun Strowman, the holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase. Strowman did a tour of India last week. A loud “Get these hands” chant fires up. Strowman says it seems like the WWE Universe is talking about two things tonight. Firstly, it was the announcement that Stephanie McMahon made earlier about the all-women’s PPV in October. Strowman congratulates all the women in the back, especially his Mixed Match Tag Team partner Alexa Bliss. Secondly, it’s all the commotion between Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley. Loud boos for that. Strowman says people have been talking about them going at it like bulls. They’ll be facing to see who will face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam. The way he sees it, it doesn’t matter if it’s Roman Reigns, Bobby Lashley, or Brock Lesnar because sooner or later a monster will come calling because he has this: the Money in the Bank briefcase. Strowman holds it up to applause. Strowman asks how he would look as the new Universal Champion, and the crowd gives him a nice hand. Strowman then poses for them.

Kevin Owens’ music hits, and Strowman sneers while Owens gingerly walks onto the stage. His right shoulder is taped, as is his left elbow. Owens stays on the stage. Owens says he can’t believe what a callous son of a… after what Strowman did to him at Extreme Rules throwing him off the top of a cage to an announce table 20 feet below, he can’t just come out here and talk about the Universal Championship like nothing happened. Owens screams “NO”. Owens says he tried to befriend Strowman out of the kindness of his heart, but also because of his 10 year old son. His son thought it would be a good idea. His son thought he could take Nicholas’ place and team with Strowman. Strowman destroyed that and crushed his son’s dream at the same time he crushes his spine. Strowman laughs. Owens says his kids thought he was indestructible. They’re scared to watch him at home seeing how much pain he’s in. Owens has a family to take care of. Strowman tried to take that all away from him, so he’ll take everything away from him. Strowman tells him to haul his ass down there and try. Owens says he won at Extreme Rules. Owens has nothing left to prove, but Strowman’s problems have only just begun.

Constable Baron Corbin makes his way to the stage. Corbin says the Commissioner of RAW is here, but she empowered him to handle this situation. What Strowman did was technically legal within the confines of a Steel Cage, but it was morally reprehensible. Corbin has tried to support and help superstars grow since taking this role. He tried to help Finn Balor, but he can only grow so much. Corbin has found someone to teach Strowman how to control his temper.

Jinder Mahal’s music hits, and he comes out with Sunil Singh. Mahal gets in the ring and senses a storm of anger within Strowman. Mahal asks Strowman to help him find the calm and nirvana. Far too many injuries have happened. Mahal has been personally appointed to assist Strowman in his journey to find inner peace. Mahal acknowledges Strowman may be skeptical, but he should close his eyes and repeat a chant. Mahal does this, but Strowman says it isn’t working. Strowman knows he has a temper, but he has a mantra of his own. Strowman asks Sunil Singh to approach him. Singh is terrified. Strowman asks him to hold his microphone and asks everyone in the ring and in the entire WWE Universe to close their eyes, breathe deep, and repeat: “Get these hands.” The crowd chants Strowman’s mantra. Strowman then hits Mahal with a big boot. Strowman then throws Singh into Mahal to knock him out of the ring. Strowman then picks up Singh with one arm and hits a Running Powerslam. Strowman then poses.

Replays are shown of Stephanie McMahon announcing the all-women’s PPV that will take place on October 28 from Long Island titled “Evolution.”

O’Neil says AOP is legit, but they’re two of the youngest on the roster. They have a lot to learn in WWE. Akam asks if O’Neil wants to teach them how to trip and fall. O’Neil says he did fall at Greatest Royal Rumble, but he got back up. Apollo says he learned a lot from Titus O’Neil. O’Neil showed him what it means to be an asset to his community. O’Neil has been here a long time and knows more than AOP. If AOP had half the class O’Neil does, they’d be champions and champion-quality people. Akam says O’Neil can walk away and retire. O’Neil says sometimes in life in order to teach people a lesson… O’Neil and Apollo attack.

Kurt Angle is backstage with Stephanie McMahon in front of a limousine. Angle is happy with the announcement from tonight. Constable Corbin walks up with Kevin Owens. McMahon asks Owens how he’s doing. Owens says he’s not well. The doctors and physical therapists helped, but he’s still hurting. Angle has let this vendetta with Strowman run out of control. Owens wants a chance to face Strowman again to take everything away from him. Angle cannot believe it. Owens wants the match with the condition that if he wins, he gets the Money in the Bank briefcase. If Strowman loses in any way (pin, submission, count-out, DQ), Owens will get the Money in the Bank briefcase. McMahon likes the idea and gives Owens the match. Owens goes for a hug, but she extends her hand. Owens then hugs Corbin. McMahon gets in a limo and drives off.
