Vickie Guerrero + Batista (challenger): General Manager Vickie Guerrero, who by the way is still in a wheel-chair, opened the show introducing Batista. Vickie Guerrero said Edge has already signed the contract, then she also signed the contract, but said that Batista had to defeat the Great Khali to finalize his World Heavyweight title shot. Batista said he would defeat Khali and signed the contract without reading it. Vickie said she added an amendment that if Batista loses against Khali then he will be banished from the WWE. Batista = Idiot – haha!

Eve Torres & World Heavyweight champion Edge + C.M. Punk: Edge said a loss for Batista tonight would be a loss for SmackDown!. Edge said he want’s to honor Batista’s career just like he did for the Undertaker just before he was banished from the WWE. C.M. Punk showed up and reminded Edge that he could cash in his money in the bank any time, any place! Maybe even at your wedding!

“The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry defeated ECW’s Tommy Dreamer: Before the match, they played a tape of Mark Henry promising to give the Big Show another black eye to match the first black eye.

Vickie Guerrero & Edge + Montel Vontavious Porter: Vickie Guerrero & Edge were meeting with their wedding planner (“Alicia Fox” played by Victoria Crawford) when they were interrupted by Montel Vontavious Porter. MVP said he wanted to renegotiate his contract. Vickie Guerrero said she would take a look at MVP’s contract if he takes care of C.M. Punk tonight.

Montel Vontavious Porter defeated C.M. Punk (Mr. Money in the Bank) by DQ: When the referee was distracted, MVP grabbed the Money in the Bank briefcase, but C.M. Punk smashed it into MVP’s face. The briefcase landed in Punk’s hands and the referee turned around and saw Punk holding the “smoking gun” and disqualified him!

WWE United States champion Matt Hardy defeated Chuck Palumbo: Before the match, Chavo Guerrero (w/Bam Neely) said he would face Matt Hardy for the WWE United States title at Night of Champions.

Eve Torres & Vladimir Kozlov: Eve Torres asked Vladimir Kozlov if he’s worried about tougher competition and Kozlov went on a rant speaking Russian.

Jesse & Festus defeated Deuce & Domino: After the match, Deuce and Domino started arguing and the tension escalated into a heated brawl inside the ring!

Batista defeated The Great Khali: The stipulation was that if Batista won he would get his World Heavyweight title shot at Night of Champions, but if he loses, he is BANISHED from the WWE (just like the Undertaker).
