C.M. Punk + Luke Gallows + Kane + World Heavyweight champion Jack Swagger & The Masked Man + Rey Mysterio & The Big show: Punk said this Sunday he’s going to win his forth heavyweight championship. Punk said he will be 4 time straight edge champion. Punk said nobody in the history of the WWE has ever accomplished that. Punk said the only thing that would make it sweeter is if Taker was there to see it. Punk said he knows most of them flunked out of high school and it’s been a long time since their last history lesson. Punk said they’ve all killed millions of brain cells, but he must remind them that he is the only man in the history of the WWE to make Taker tap out. Punk said if it wasn’t for Taker’s current state, he would make him tap out again on Sunday. Punk said he’s there to talk about Taker. Punk said the fans are familiar with vegetative states. Punk said he had nothing to do with what happened to Taker, but he finds it funny and wishes he was the man who did it. Punk said he wishes he could have seen the look in Taker’s face while he was beaten to a point of no return. Punk said he will be the first man to shake the men who beat up Taker’s hand. Punk said the entire WWE landscape has been better without Taker. The lights went out and when they came back on Undertaker was in the ring! But it turned out to be Luke Gallows dressed like The Undertaker. Punk and Gallows laughed at the fans and Punk put on the hat, which combined with the mask made him look ridiculous. Suddenly Kane’s pyro hit and he came out. Swagger and the masked man stopped Kane on the ramp and all 4 men attacked him. They held Kane down while Luke hit his running splash and Jack hit 3 running Vader bombs. Rey Mysterio and The Big Show ran down to help out Kane. The heels ran away and then Rey hit Kane with the 619 and Big Show chokeslammed him as pay back for beating them up last week.
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Gatecrashers (“American Psycho” Vance Archer & Curt Hawkins) defeated Montel Vontavious Porter & Christian: Curt and Christian started off. Christian smacked Curt and then wrenched his arm and tagged in MVP. MVP started kneeing Curt in the stomach and hit a body slam followed by a knee drop for 2. Curt hit MVP with a jawbreaker and was smacked in the face. MVP knocked Vance off the apron and back dropped Curt out of the ring. MVP and Christian hit stereo cross body blocks on them. On the outside Vance threw MVP into the steps. Back from commercial Curt had a cobra clutch on MVP. MVP got out of it but was elbowed down. Curt tagged in Vance. Vance started twisting MVP’s arm using the middle rope. Vance tried to leg drop MVP’s arm but he moved. Vance knocked Christian off the apron and tagged in Curt. Curt locked in another cobra clutch variation but MVP turned it into a jawbreaker and managed to hot tag Christian. Christian hit an inverted DDT and kicked Vance off the apron. Christian hit a cross body block but Vance broke up the pin. MVP knocked Vance out of the ring and was then thrown into the steel ring post by Curt. Christian went for the kill switch but Vance saved him and hit an inverted DDT. Curt hit a flying elbow for 3. These 2 big guys need better finishing moves. After the match MVP tried to fight them but Vance kicked him in the arm and hit the devastating inverted DDT and Curt hit the horrifying flying elbow.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
WWE Women’s champions Lay-Cool (Michelle McCool & Layla w/Kaval) + Rosa Mendes: Lay-Cool were talking to each other while Kaval held the belts and looked on the verge of killing them. Rosa came up to them and wanted to join Lay-Cool. Lay-Cool said never and made fun of her. They made fun of her make up and for never winning a match. Lay-Cool said she needed better training and Rosa walked away in tears. Michelle told Kaval to turn his frown upside down and forced him to smile.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Vickie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero + Dolph Ziggler + Chris Masters: Chavo said it was great to have the Guerrero’s back together when Dolph walked in wearing short jeans and a tool belt. Dolph said they were too tight. Vickie told Chavo to go get ready for his match so she could have alone time with Dolph. Dolph pointed out that he looks ridiculous and Vickie pulled out a framed picture of them standing on stage together. Vickie got Dolph to hang it up so she could check out his ass. Chris Masters walked in, saw what was going on, and left.
SINGLES MATCH
JTG defeated Chavo Guerrero: Chavo was putting on his wrist tape during his entrance. Chavo cheap shot JTG in the midsection but JTG fought back and hit a body slam. Chavo hit a rolling Ligre kick and choked JTG on the bottom rope. Chavo dropped JTG with a European uppercut and locked in a cross face arm bar. Chavo hit a body slam and went for a senton but JTG got his knees up. JTG started drop kicking and clotheslining Chavo and hit a mug shot. Chavo went for a splash but JTG moved and hit his lariat like finisher for 3. After the match JTG brought some kids in the ring and posed with them.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Josh Mathews & WWE Intercontinental champion Kofi Kingston: Josh asked Kofi is he was worried about his match on Sunday because of Drew’s relationship with Vince. Kofi said this Sunday is going to be a fight and he has a lot of fight left in him. Kofi said the fight won’t be a problem but he has a problem with Drew facing Teddy tonight. Kofi said Teddy isn’t a trained fighter so nothing good can come from this. Kofi said what will be good is this Sunday when he retains the title.
SINGLES MATCH
Drew McIntyre defeated SmackDown! General Manager Theodore Long: Drew said that if Teddy didn’t come out to face him, he would be fired. Teddy came out looking upset and scared. Drew said he didn’t care that Teddy was wearing a suit; he was still going to tear him apart. Drew said before he does, to ensure there are no shenanigans he enlisted his own security guards. A group of guards came out and Drew told the referee to check Teddy for foreign objects. Drew dared Teddy to hit him. Drew said he knew a lot of family members were watching and he knows that they are unemployed. Drew said this industry was all Teddy knew and without it he is nothing. Drew said the only way he might get out of this is by doing exactly what he tells him. Drew said he’s giving him an opportunity to save himself. Drew ordered Teddy to his knees. Drew forced Teddy to refer to him as the chosen one. Drew made Teddy get back onto his knees. Drew told Teddy to lay down on his back in the middle of the ring. Drew got the ref to ring the bell and pinned Teddy with his foot for 3. After the match Drew grabbed Teddy and tried to hit the future shock but Kofi came running out. The security held Kofi back while Drew attacked him. Matt Hardy ran in from the audience and tackled Drew. The security held Matt back while Drew attacked him. Drew threw Matt into the ring and hit the future shock. The security threw Kofi into the ring and Drew hit future shock on him too.
NON (WWE WOMEN’S) TITLE MATCH
Kelly Kelly w/Tiffany defeated WWE Women’s champion Layla El w/Michelle McCool : Layla took down Kelly with an awkward looking pin for 2. Kelly arm dragged Layla and hit her with a Lou Thesz press. Layla hit Kelly with a jaw breaker on the middle rope and pinned her for 2 before locking in a head scissors. Kelly took down Layla with a jackknife pin for 2. Kelly went for her cartwheel elbow but missed. Michelle distracted Kelly but Tiffany attacked her. Layla went for the neckbreaker but Kelly reversed it into a K2 leg drop (Famouser) for 3.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Josh Mathews & World Heavyweight champion Jack Swagger: Josh asked Jack about his match on Sunday. Jack said when he was 4 he was about to compete in a track and field and while he was warming up his daddy told him that the kids were twice his age but that’s no excuse because no one remembers silver. Jack said his daddy told him to reach for the stars and become unforgettable so everyone in the arena knows who he is. Jack said he won 4 gold medals because he’s a winner. Jack said this Sunday is father’s day so he’s going to dedicate his victory to his daddy. Jack said in time his opponent’s names will be forgotten but you’ll never forget his name.
SINGLES MATCH
Dolph Ziggler w/Vickie Guerrero defeated Chris Masters: Chris took down Dolph with a shoulder block but Dolph hung up Chris throat first on the top rope. Chris fought out of a cross face and catapulted Dolph into the turnbuckle. Dolph was hit with a reverse atomic drop and several clotheslines. Chris got ready for the master lock but Dolph fought out of it and ran into a sidewalk slam. Dolph reversed a running powerslam into the sleeper hold from hell. Chris powered out of it and went for the master lock again. Dolph managed to get the ropes and then kicked Chris in the knee and hit the zigzag for 3.
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Big Show & Rey Mysterio defeated Jack Swagger & C.M. Punk w/Luke Gallows & Serena: Rey and Jack started off. Rey kicked Jack in the thigh but Jack picked him up and ran him into the corner. Punk tagged in and began tackling Rey into the turnbuckle. Punk took Rey down with a snapmare and elbow drop for 2. Rey kicked Punk in the midsection and hit a leg drop for 2. Punk tried to roll up Rey but Rey went for Punk’s mask. Punk retreated from the ring and Luke clotheslined Rey hard. Back from commercial Punk had Rey in a half camel clutch. Rey got out of it and ran into a powerslam. Punk tagged in Jack who began stomping on Rey’s gut. Jack hit a running Vader bomb for 2. Rey hit Jack with a big X-factor and tagged in Big Show. Jack reversed a chokeslam into a DDT. Rey went for a cross body but Jack ducked it. Rey reversed the gut wrench into a west coast pop like move for 3. After the match Kane came out looking mad. Kane took out Luke on the ramp and then chokeslammed Jack Swagger in the ring. Kane knocked Show off the apron and reversed a cross body from Punk into a chokeslam. Kane hit Rey with a tombstone, and then grabbed a microphone. Kane said one of them is already in hell and doesn’t even know it. Kane said Sunday will be a fatal night for the guilty party, and then hit his pyro.
