WWE SmackDown 10 03 2014

WWE SmackDown!
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Date: October 3, 2014
Commentators: Michael Cole, Tom Phillips, and JBL

We begin with a look back at what happened on Raw with the Money in the Bank Briefcase as well as Dean’s attempt to sell/give away some merchandise. Then we take a look at the main event with Kane and Randy Orton facing John Cena and Dean Ambrose. What will happen tonight to advance this story?
We are in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and your announcers are Tom Phillips, Michael Cole, and John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield.

John Cena makes his way to the ring to talk to the people of Milwaukee and the WWE Universe.

John says that to the Algonquins it is known as Mill-E-Wah-Que, but to him it is the birthplace of Pabst Blue Ribbon. Tonight, Milwaukee is rowdy and ready for Smackdown. John says that he is too. On Monday night, he wanted to get into a fight with Seth Rollins, but he ended up almost getting into a fight with Dean Ambrose. They were both so focused on getting to Seth Rollins that they forgot that the Authority is a family and that family kicked both of their asses on Monday.

You know about their obsession for giving Seth Rollins his payback. For Dean Ambrose, it is because Seth curb stomped Dean’s head into cinder blocks. That is what fuels Dean Ambrose to get at Seth Rollins. John says that he was destroyed by Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Brock gave him 16 German suplexes and 2 F-5. He suffered the most lopsided defeat in WWE Championship history. Right after that match, members of the WWE Universe, Michael Cole, his friends, his family, Hall of Famers like Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels were telling him that he needed to ride off into the sunset.

They were telling him that he was done and that he lost a step and it was time to give up. Hearing those words lit a fire under him and it made him want to take that fight to the Beast Incarnate at Night of Champions. He stood toe to toe with Brock and he had him beat, but Seth Rollins took that away from him. John says that he needed that victory for everyone who believed in him and to prove to himself that he had not lost a step.

That egomaniac Seth Rollins saw opportunity. Seth is an opportunist and he says that he is the future of the WWE. John says that tonight we give Seth Rollins a chance to prove himself. Anyone in the back who says that they are the future of the WWE, they will have to go through him to prove it.

John tells Seth that he doesn’t have to wait around. He is giving Seth the chance to prove he is as good as he says he is. He can keep his contract and briefcase. He wants to prove to Seth that he ain’t lost a step. He is going to stick one of his feet where the sun don’t shine.

Instead of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring.

Dean tells John that he is sorry to disappoint him, but John isn’t the only person who has issues with The Authority. He will take care of Seth Rollins and he will make him pay.

John tells Dean that he doesn’t want to do this with him.

Dean agrees and he says that he doesn’t want to do this with John. Seth is his thing. On Monday night, you got in his way.

John tells Dean that is how he sees it. Dean has had some tough times and had a few matches, but Dean does not know what it is like to face Brock Lesnar. He had Brock beat and Seth Rollins took that from him.

Dean tells John that he lost one night while Dean says that he almost lost his career when his head was put through cinder blocks. He will be damned if anyone else is going to wipe that smug look off Seth’s face, especially John.

John tells Dean that he has guts and they shouldn’t spend their time beating up each other. Eventually one of us will get their hands on Seth. If we keep running around doing this crap, we will get laid out by the Authority, like on Monday.

John wants a truce with Dean and he offers his hand.

Before Dean can shake John’s hand after thinking about it for a little while, Randy Orton, Kane, and Seth Rollins appear on the TitanTron and Randy comments on his favorite new Bromance. He says that they are very happy to see John and Dean work things out. It seems like they needed a friend and they deserve each other.

Kane says that Seth told them what Dean said about John Cena while they were in the Shield. He says that John was nothing more than an overhyped action figure who couldn’t wrestle his way out of a box of cereal.

Orton says that John said things about Ambrose. He said he was a nutjob who would self-destruct like everyone else who pretended to be crazy.

Kane says that no one cares about what John or Dean may have said about each other. If you have mended your fences, why not prove it in a match against him and Randy Orton later tonight. We will see if they can work as a team, or if the Lunatic Fringe and Cenation destroy each other.

Kane asks Seth if he has anything to say and Seth remains silent as we go to commercial.

Big Show makes his way to the ring and he has something to say.

Show says that as human beings we should be held accountable for our actions. In some situations, other people hold us accountable for those actions. Ultimately it relies on us to hold ourselves accountable for our actions. Show says that he wants to address what happened Monday night on Raw.

Show says that his sense of nationalistic pride might have gotten the better of him, but perhaps his actions were a little overzealous by pulling down the Russian flag. The irony of it is that he likes the majority of Russian people he has met.

America is a melting pot of different cultures. That is what makes America the home of the free and the brave. With that being said, when he went home after Raw, he got thinking. What if someone did that to us? What if someone pulled down Old Glory? We would be damn mad.

He cannot take back his actions from Raw because he did that. What he can do, as a WWE Superstar and a red, white, and blue blooded American, he can sincerely and humbly apologize to the Russian people he may have offended.

Show says that it has to be done.

The guy in their crosshairs, Seth Rollins. Ass kickings are a part of this business and he knows about that. Embarrassing him by taking his briefcase and putting a mysterious green substance in it, that is the kind of thing an egomaniac like Seth cannot stand. No matter how much he puts Seth through, it won’t compare to what Seth did by putting his head through cinder blocks.

He says that he will go through everybody the Authority puts in front of him. Whether it is Randy Orton, Kane, Jamie Noble, Joey Mercury, the Bunny, or the Gator. Nothing will get in his way. Nothing will stop him from getting to Seth Rollins.
