WWE SmackDown kicks off with clips of Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton from last week.
We cut backstage and Sami Zayn is with Nick Aldis. Zayn tells him that he should be in the title match tonight in his home country. Zayn says that Randy Orton lost to Cody Rhodes and in comes Randy Orton behind him. We hear Cody’s voice and there is a television behind Orton. Cody is in the ring and he tells Orton to come down to the ring. Out comes Nick Aldis and he says last week was almost a disaster.
Randy Orton’s music hits and out he comes. He says at Sunday’s Night Main Event, he says he will beat him. Aldis tells them both if they both touch each other, they will never get another title shot. Orton says he will not get in the ring tonight and jeopardise becoming champion. He says he has his word. He tells Cody that he saw the footage, Cody had the chair and he was about to hit him. Orton says if Cody would have swung that chair, he would not have been able to live with himself. Orton says but before WrestleMania, he swung that chair because he knows how to go there, how to get it done, how to be himself. Orton says Cody is a good guy, he has always been a good guy, he always will be a good guy, the golden boy, American nightmare. Orton says Cody is the American day dream. He says two weeks ago, Cody asked who was going to kill the legend of Randy Orton. He says Cody didn’t answer that question because it won’t be Cody who will kill him.
Cody says he is operating on a dangerous assumption. He says Orton shook his hand, called him a brother and he hit him with a chair. And at WrestleMania, he kicked him in his skull. Cody says he has learned from his friends, his hero’s, his enemies and from Orton. He tells Orton let’s say Orton does become Champion, here is what happens after. He still comes back to Cody, the one who kills the legend killer is QB1 and that is not a prediction, it’s a spoiler. Cody drops the microphone and his music hits.
We cut to the back and see Tama Tonga and Tala Tonga. Tama says it’s about their family now. Tala says the tag titles belong to them now. In comes Haku and he tells them now they fight, now they show them who is the mother f dog in here.
-Commercial Break-
WWE Tag Team Championship Match – Tama Tonga and Tala Tonga (c’s) with Haku vs. Damian Priest and R-Truth
The bell rings and we are under way. Both teams are fighting in the ring. Tama Tonga and Priest start the match. Tama with right hands but Priest with right hands. We see the War Raiders watching the match backstage. Priest with a big boot and R-Truth is tagged in. They double team Tama Tonga. In comes Tala Tonga but they throw him to the outside of the ring. Priest and R-Truth clothesline Tama Tonga to the outside of the ring. R-Truth jumps over the top rope and onto Tama Tonga on the outside of the ring and Priest throws Tala Tonga into the barricade. R-Truth throws Tama Tonga back into the ring and R-Truth with a right hand. He grabs Tama Tonga but Tama Tonga throws R-Truth onto the top rope. Tama Tonga with a clothesline. He goes for the cover but R-Truth kicks out. Tama Tonga with right hands and he throws him to the outside of the ring. Tala Tonga is tagged in.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Priest and Tala Tonga are in the ring. Priest climbs the top rope and he lands a clothesline. He goes for the cover but Tala Tonga kicks out. Priest grabs Tala Tonga but Tala Tonga grabs Priest. He goes for a chokeslams but Priest with right hands. Priest to the ropes and Tala Tonga with a clothesline. Tama Tonga is tagged in but Priest with a kick to the side of the head. R-Truth is tagged in and R-Truth with shoulder tackles. R-Truth with the You Can’t See Me and five knuckle shuffle. R-Truth with the AA. He goes for the cover but Tala Tonga breaks it up. Priest with a right hand onto Tala Tonga. Priest clotheslines Tala Tonga to the outside of the ring. Priest to the outside and he lands a double axe handle onto Tala Tonga. Priest gets on the ring apron but Tama Tonga throws him off the ring apron. Tala Tonga chokeslams Priest onto the ring apron. R-Truth rolls Tama Tonga but he kicks out. He grabs Tama Tonga but Tama Tonga with a swinging neck breaker. Tala Tonga is tagged in and the red cross high low. Tala Tonga goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winners: Still WWE Tag Team Champions, Tama Tonga and Tala Tonga
Priest gets in the ring after the match and he hugs R-Truth.
We cut to the back and Cathy Kelley is with CM Punk. He says that he thrives in pressure situations and hostile environments. He says he thinks that Owens is fighting battles in his head but he has changed, he has evolved and gotten better. But when he sees Owens, he still sees the same guy from 20 years ago. In comes Randy Orton. He tells Punk fair warning, after he beats Cody in front of his family, he wanted to tell him that he will be coming for number 15 and he walks away. Punk says he looks forward to it.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, we see clips of last week’s show where Nick Aldis tells Chelsea Green that she is still the WWE Women’s champion.
We cut backstage and Chelsea Green is with Tiffany Stratton. Chelsea tells her that she will make it up to her for last week. Tiffany tells her she doesn’t want her to come out tonight and jeapordize her title reign. In comes Paige and she tells Green she should be proud of herself. In come Fatal Influence and she tells Chelsea that she shouldn’t be taking advice from people who can’t keep their titles. Paige says she misses gold around her waist. She says she will take the United States title and Fatal Influence walk away.
We cut to Blake Monroe and in comes Cathy Kelley. Blake says she sees herself as world Championship material, she thinks her match should be against Chelsea. But it will be against Giulia and it should be in Paris or Milan but instead it’s in a dump like Toronto. Blake says she looks great and even when they give her nothing, she will do her best and make everyone talk about her.
-Commercial Break-
As Giulia is walking down to the ring, Blake Monroe hits her from behind. Blake throws Giulia into the ring steps and into the ring. Blake gets in the ring. Blake with the neutralizer.
Blake’s music hits and she leaves the ring.
We cut to the back and Charlotte Flair is with Alexa Bliss. They talk about Alexa’s birthday celebrations and in comes Tatum Paxley. Flair asks Alexa what is happening. In comes Jade Cargill with B-Fab and Michin. Jade says Flair needed this freak show to bail her out. Flair says this freak show can handle B-Fab and Michin alone. Michin challenges Tatum to a match next week and Tatum accepts.
-Commercial Break-
Trick’s music hits and out come Trick Williams and Lil Yachty to the ring. Trick says he got Lil Yachty back but he doesn’t have his title back. He says Corbin does not want to go against him one on one. He says since Corbin walks around backstage looking like a cue ball, he can come out and get hit with a Trick shot.
Corbin’s music hits and out he comes on a motorcycle. Corbin gets in the ring and Lil Yachty leaves the ring. Trick says he is the one he is looking for, he is the one he cheated out of his title. He tells Corbin to stop dodging him and give the people what they want. Trick challenges him to a match tonight. Corbin says that title right now is getting a hair cut. He tells Trick that he isn’t getting another shot at the title. He says they had a title match, Trick lost and they had a rematch, Trick lost again. He says Trick has nothing to offer him, he beat him every single time. He tells Trick it isn’t happening, not tonight, not anywhere. He tells Trick he can take Lil Yachty and leave. Lil Yachty hits Corbin with a kendo stick and Trick clotheslines Corbin to the outside of the ring. Corbin gets on the ring apron but Lil Yachty hits him with the kendo stick. Corbin says if this is how he wants to do this, he challenges him to a match at Sunday Night’s Main Event. He says but first, he wants Lil Yachty in his home town, five minutes in that ring, if he lives, Trick gets his title shot. If he beats him, they are done. He tells Lil Yachty to put his money where his mouth is. Lil Yachty accepts. Corbin tells him good, this is going to be the longest five minutes of his life.
We cut to the back and Cathy Kelley is with Kevin Owens. As he is talking, in comes Finn Balor. He tells Owens he was glad to see him back but as his friend, he should have told him he was coming back in his match. In comes Gunther. He tells Owens a lot of pressure, he can win the WWE Championship and all of that can happen in front of his people. He says he doesn’t have to worry about Finn Balor because he is a shadow of himself. If he wins tonight, he will have to worry about him. Gunther walks away. Owens asks Finn if Gunther is upset or if that’s his accent. Finn says he is upset but he has to focus on winning the title. And when he does, he will be waiting for him on the other side. Owens says he hopes he is and Finn walks away.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Lash Legend with Nia Jax
The bell rings and we are under way. Tiffany with a drop kick. She runs to the ropes but Lash with a right hand. Lash with a body slam. She goes for the cover but Tiffany kicks out. She gets Tiffany in a bear hug. She throws Tiffany to the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Tiffany moves out of the way. Tiffany with a backstabber and Lash falls to the outside of the ring. Tiffany goes for a suicide dive but Lash grabs her and throws her into the ring post.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Lash with a suplex. She goes for an elbow drop but Tiffany moves out of the way. Tiffany with right hands and a stunner. She climbs the top rope and goes for a swanton but Lash moves out of the way. Lash goes for a bit boot but Tiffany moves out of the way. Tiffany rolls her up but Lash kicks out. Tiffany climbs the top rope but Lash pushes her down. Lash grabs her and Lash with the Lash Extension. She goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Lash Legend
Nia Jax gets in the ring after the match and she lands a leg drop. Nia and Lash double team Tiffany. Chelsea Green’s music hits and out she comes with a kendo stick. She hits Lash and Nia with the kendo sick and they roll to the outside of the ring.
-Commercial Break-
A video of Shinsuke Nakamura airs. He says he found a tag team partner and in comes Kyoki. He says he has been fighting all over the world and now he is with Nakamura.
Undisputed WWE Championship Match – CM Punk (c) vs. Kevin Owens
During Punk’s entrance in the ring, Owens pushes Punk and the referee breaks it up.
The bell rings and we are under way. Owens with right hands and a clothesline. He clotheslines Punk to the outside of the ring. Owens to the outside, Punk gets back in the ring. Owens gets in the ring and Punk with right hands. Punk goes for a suplex but Owens stops it. Owens lifts Punk and throws him onto the top rope. Punk on the ring apron and Owens with a right hand. Punk falls to the outside of the ring and Owens to the outside of the ring. Owens with chops to the chest. Owens throws Punk back into the ring and Owens clears the announce table. Punk to the outside and he throws Owens back into the ring. Punk puts the announce table back together. Punk gets in the ring and Owens with a right hand and a senton. Owens goes for the Stunner but Punk with a neck breaker.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Owens with a clothesline and right hands. Punk rolls to the outside of the ring. Owens to the outside and Owens with a clothesline. Owens throws Punk back into the ring and Owens with a cannonball. He goes for the cover but Punk kicks out. Owens climbs the top rope but Punk rolls to the outside of the ring. Owens to the outside and Owens with a super kick. Punk falls onto the announce table. Owens climbs the barricade and he lands a frog splash onto Punk. He throws Punk back into the ring. Owens climbs the top rope and Owens with a swanton. He goes for the cover but Punk kicks out. Owens throws Punk to the ropes and goes for the pop up powerbomb but Punk lands on his feet. Punk with right hands. He goes for the cover but Owens kicks out. Punk with a running knee to the face and a clothesline. Punk climbs the top rope and he lands an elbow drop. He goes for the cover but Owens kicks out. Punk with the anaconda vice but Owens reverses it into a cover and Punk kicks out. Punk with a swinging neck breaker. Punk lifts Owens and goes for GTS but Owens lands on his feet. Owens trips Punk and gets him in the sharpshooter but Punk gets to the ropes. Punk rolls onto the ring apron. Owens grabs Punk but Punk hangs him up on the top rope. Punk gets in the ring, Owens goes for the Stunner but Punk pushes him into the referee. Punk goes for GTS but Owens pushes him into the referee and the referee falls to the outside of the ring. Owens with a Stunner and he goes for the cover but there is no referee. Owens looks at the referee and he turns around. Punk with the GTS. He goes for the cover but there is no referee. Punk to the outside of the ring and out comes Sami Zayn. He throws Punk into the ring post. Zayn throws Punk back into the ring. Owens with the Stunner. Zayn throws the referee into the ring. Owens goes for the cover but Punk kicks out. Zayn grabs the title and he gives the title to Owens. He grabs the title and he looks at Zayn who gets on the ring apron. Owens tells him not like this and he gives Zayn the title. Zayn hits Owens with the title. Punk with the GTS. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Still Undisputed WWE Champion, CM Punk
He celebrates in the ring and in comes Sami Zayn with the title. Punk turns around and Zayn hits Punk with the title. Owens rolls into the ring and Zayn hits him with the title. Zayn hits Punk with the title. He tells Punk that Punk stole the title from him and SmackDOwn goes off the air.
