- Robert Stone warned Tony D’Angelo not to mess around tonight or cause any problems.
- WWE EVOLVE Championship Match: Aaron Rourke (c) defeated Tristan Angels by pinfall due in part to some distractions by Shiloh Hill to get back at Angels for their ongoing Mr. NXT feud.
- Somehow, when Naraku handed the contract to Tony D in the parking lot, a fireball came out of it into D’Angelo’s face. That NXT parking lot is so dangerous. After the commercial break, an ambulance hauled off the champ. So much for no shenanigans.
- Promo: Saquon Shugars and Dion Lennox had a face-to-face in the ring to talk trash to each other ahead of their Great American Bash match.
- The friendship and feud with Myles Borne and Tavion Heights was spotlighted in a few segments back-to-back. Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey then planned to celebrate their hopefully impending “both of them have a title after Great American Bash” with some cake.
- Hank Walker & Tank Ledger defeated BirthRight’s Stacks & Uriah Connors by pinfall.
- Sarah Schreiber interviewed Shiloh Hill, who said he and Tristan Angels aren’t even. Far from it. This Sunday, he’s going to show Angels why no one sleeps on Shiloh Hill.
- Lola Vice and Kendal Grey had their contract signing in a pre-taped segment behind the scenes, saying on repeat several times that Grey is the future, but not at Vice’s expense, and other generic “I’m going to win” material. [Nothing interesting to see here.]
- EK Prosper defeated Keanu Carver by pinfall in an upset that Carver immediately flipped out about, powerbombing Prosper through the commentary table after the bell.
- Vignette: Zaria spoke about she and Tatum Paxley “breaking free” of their former friends over the past year. She thinks Tatum doesn’t get attached to people or objects, but she is addicted to pain, so that’s what she’ll give her at Great American Bash.
- Robert Stone threatened to suspend Naraku, who said he can’t do that, because that would ruin the title match. Stone then yelled at Carver over what he did a moment ago. Carver said Prosper isn’t the first and won’t be the last until he gets a title opportunity.
- WWE Women’s Speed No. 1 Contender’s Tournament Finals Match: Arianna Grace defeated Izzi Dame by pinfall after Shawn Spears awkwardly kept badgering Dame for a high-five, which was enough of a distraction for Grace to roll her up. [VERY weird ending to that.]
- Sarah Schreiber asked Robert Stone for an update on the state of Tony D’Angelo. Apparently, Rey Mysterio is sending some luchadors to Great American Bash, and by the end of the night, Stone will reveal more about the title match. The Vanity Project interrupted to try to get some attention and he told them to just go watch the next match.
- Of course, we can’t go straight to the match, because this is WWE, so after a commercial break, there’s a backstage segment with Karmen Petrovic and Nikkita Lyons badmouthing Jaida Parker about her loss to Nattie last week. OTM asked her if she’s okay, and she said she isn’t and walked off. Lucien Price then mentioned to Bronco Nima about seeing him on AAA with Petrovic (as part of the Los Perros del Mal faction there) and Nima said not to worry about it.
- Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux defeated The Culling (Niko Vance & Shawn Spears) by pinfall with Spears taking the three-count. Dame and Vance then turned on Spears, with Vance chokeslamming Spears through the commentary desk to send Vic Joseph’s candy flying all over the place for the second time tonight.
- Robert Stone went to the ring, calling out Naraku, who said if Tony D’Angelo can’t fight him, he should be awarded the title. Mason Rook came out to say he’ll fight him for the title. Jackson Drake and The Vanity Project interrupted to try to put Drake into the title scene. Rook went on the attack and Stone revealed that D’Angelo has not been taken out of the title match, and this was all a bunch of nothing (minus Tony D having half his face covered with bandages)
