- Jaida Parker and Thea Hail defeated Karmen Petrovic and Nikkita Lyons by pinfall. Lyons, Petrovic, and Nattie went on the attack after the match, but came up short.
- Tony D’Angelo called out Grayson Waller, who came out on the crow’s nest. D’Angelo said Waller is just frustrated that he’s never won a title. They talked some trash, along with Cruz Montana, who also came out through the crowd. D’Angelo just wants to cut to the chase and book a Triple Threat between them for NXT Heatwave.
- Singles Match for the WWE Women’s Speed Championship: Wren Sinclair (c) vs ZARIA went to a time limit expiration.
- OTM talked backstage, with Bronco Nima and Lucien Price saying Nima’s “backup plan” is AAA and Price telling BirthRight that he has a backup plan of his own (without revealing that)
- Kelani Jordan told Grayson Waller that he’s had many opportunities at the title, but she hasn’t, so when she does, she’ll do something he hasn’t done by winning the belt on her first try. Mason Rook confronted Waller, angry about what he’s been saying, and was attacked by Kam Hendrix.
- Tag Team Match for the NXT Tag Team Championship: Myles Borne and Tavion Heights defeated The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) (c) by pinfall to win the titles!
- After the commercial break, The Vanity Project were seething, but Myka Lockwood crossed paths with Keanu Carver again and continued to eye him up.
- Backstage, Izzi Dame and Niko Vance confronted Lizzy Rain, who was backed up by Shawn Spears. Next week, they’re in a mixed tag team match. Rain doesn’t trust Spears. If things go sideways next week, it’s going to be 3-on-1 real quick. Spears says “Smart girl” in response to that.
- Keanu Carver defeated E.K. Prosper by pinfall with a small package.
- Cutler James and Osiris Griffin were talking about Dion Lennox being upset lately. Lennox apparently has a rematch against Saquon Shugars next week. Lennox isn’t cool with Grayson Waller calling them soft and complacent. Next week, they need to make sure Shugars doesn’t walk away.
- Shiloh Hill fractured part of his face during his match with Tristan Angels last week. Since he’s not medically cleared to work out, he’s bored, so he’s diving down rabbit holes of things like how Pat Patterson never actually had a tournament in Rio to win the inaugural intercontinental title reign, mist was really started in Texas instead of Japan, Kali Armstrong has a sprinting world record, etc.
- Vic Joseph pitched to a video package of Dory Funk Jr., who passed away earlier today.
- Robert Stone was on the phone with another free agent. He told Cruz Montana that he will face Grayson Waller in a No. 1 contender’s match next week. Tristan Angels thinks Montana hasn’t earned it. Montana ran down his matches from last year and pointed out that he’s actually put in more to justify a title shot in comparison than Angels, who has only been on the roster about 3 months.
- NXT Underground Match for the NXT Women’s Championship: Kendal Grey (c) defeated Lola Vice by submission to retain.
