- Shawn Spears is not joining Lizzy Rain in their scheduled tag team match, but EK Prosper came out to fill in the void and it was decided that he could just replace Spears.
- Mixed Tag Team Match: Lizzy Rain and EK Prosper defeated Izzi Dame and Niko Vance by pinfall.
- Footage from last Tuesday was shown of the babyface locker room celebrating with Tavion Heights and Myles Borne about their tag team title win. Heights talked about how the tag team division is underrated and they want to be fighting champions to show off how talented they all are. Romeo Moreno was quick to jump on tossing his name out there, but Noam Dar told him to be a little patient and let them enjoy their night.
- Kali Armstrong interrupted an interview Emily Agard was conducting of EK Prosper and Lizzy Rain, stealing the microphone so she could head to the ring to say she wants a title opportunity. Kelani Jordan then also interrupted to say since she had Armstrong pinned recently, Kali needs to at least get behind her. Kendal Grey came out with Wren Sinclair and a contract in hand to present to Jordan for a title shot just to shut her up. Kali can get a shot after Kelani, who gets to choose when they have their match. Since Kendal hasn’t been cleared to compete, she wants to have her match at NXT Heatwave so it is on a big stage. Armstrong was upset and sparked a fight, finding herself allied with Jordan to beat down Grey and Sinclair.
- Cruz Montana and Robert Stone talked backstage, interrupted by Keanu Carver, who was upset over two new guys getting a shot over him. Carver then wished Montana good luck. This confused Montana and Stone, who asked why Carver has been acting weird lately. Carver said he’s just trying to get the lay of the land in NXT and there’s a lot more coming.
- Dion Lennox defeated Saquon Shugars by pinfall due to interference from Osiris Griffin and Cutler James, who triple-teamed Shugars some more after the bell.
- Robert Stone was talking to Rey Mysterio in his office. In two weeks, Rey Fenix will defend the AAA Cruiserweight Championship, so Stone wants to book a No. 1 contender’s Fatal 4-Way for next week. Mysterio suggested EK Prosper and La Parka. Stone will select the other two.
- After the commercial break, Grayson Waller lashed out to Saquon Shugars (who was being checked out by medical) about how he should go ahead and do something about what happened to him in the ring. Shugars then grabbed a steel chair and stormed off.
- NXT Women’s North American Championship Match: ZARIA (c) defeated Wren Sinclair by pinfall. Shugars fought with DarkState toward the end of the match around ringside to cause a distraction.
- Shiloh Hill updated us that he’s healing faster than expected, teased that he’ll be wrestling under the mask of The Fog, updated more information on the poison mist, threw in a little joke about how Naraku is married to Iyo Sky as a little Easter egg, and said he might be back on TV soon.
- Kam Hendrix defeated Mason Rook by pinfall, utilizing an exposed turnbuckle to get the advantage.
- The Vanity Project were in Robert Stone’s office, complaining about Swipe Right losing the tag team titles. Next week, if Jackson Drake wins his match, he gets a North American Championship shot and Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes will get a rematch for the tag team titles. Myles Borne agreed that if Drake wins, he’ll wrestle twice at Heatwave. Drake’s opponent for next week is Shiloh Hill, which The Vanity Project was upset about.
- Lucien Price defeated Lexis King by pinfall.
- Robert Stone was on the phone again, “still interested” in someone he’s hoping calls him back. WrenQCC came into the office. Sinclair suggested a title unification match at Heatwave against Zaria. Also, Stone booked a tag team match with those two against Kali and Kelani.
- Thea Hail and Jaida Parker chatted in the locker room. Hail wants a match with Nattie. Parker warned Hail that she might not be ready for that. Hail hasn’t had a friend in a while and wants Parker to be in her corner for next week’s match.
- Romeo Moreno was told by Robert Stone that he’s in the Fatal 4-Way, but he doesn’t want to take it because he’s in a team with Noam Dar. Dar told him not to turn this chance down, reassured him that that doesn’t mean he’s “abandoning” him, and wished him luck in potentially becoming a cruiserweight champion. Tristan Angels is apparently the other name and he interrupted to say he’s going to win while complimenting his own waistline.
- NXT Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match: Cruz Montana vs Grayson Waller was a no-contest as they were both attacked by a debuting Zilla Fatu!
