REY JOINS SES VS. PUNK GETS HEAD SHAVED MATCH
C.M. Punk (w/Luke Gallows & Serena) defeated Rey Mysterio: A bald mystery man (probably Joey Mercury) appeared from under the ring and interfered by attacking Mysterio. Punk pushed Mysterio back into the ring and gave him the GTS for the win and to save his hair.
STRAP MATCH
JTG defeated Shad Gaspard:
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE NO-HOLDS-BARRED MATCH
Jack Swagger defeated Randy Orton to retain the World Heavyweight title: Jack Swagger blocked the RKO attempt and dropped Randy Orton back-first onto a chair. Swagger then hit the Doctor-bomb for the win! After the match, Orton got his revenge by giving Swagger an RKO on the floor!
STREET FIGHT GRUDGE MATCH
Sheamus defeated Triple H: Sheamus came out and demanded he be declared the winner by forfeit. Triple H came out with a limp arm, determined to compete in the match! It ended up being a long match with Triple H taking a beating and making only brief come-backs. They tried to stretcher him out but HHH refused and threw down the neck brace. HHH was being helped to the back when Sheamus destroyed him with another Bicycle kick! HHH was put on a stretcher and taken out..
WWE WOMEN’S TITLE EXTREME MAKE-OVER MATCH
Beth Phoenix defeated Michelle McCool (w/Layla El & Vickie Guerrero) to win the WWE Women’s title: Great match as the “Glamazon” Beth Phoenix reversed the Faith-breaker into a Glam-slam for the win!
STEEL CAGE GRUDGE MATCH
Edge defeated Chris Jericho after a spear: Edge hit a spear but Jericho kicked out. Jericho hit a really cool spring-board Code-breaker but Edge kicked out! At one point Jericho had the match won, and could have left the cage, but changed his mind and came back in to inflict more punishment. Edge smashed the cage door on Jericho’s ankle and worked over the ankle. Jericho started crying and wanted to quit (while Edge never quit when his ankle was injured). Edge eventually won using the spear. This came off as the end of the feud.
WWE CHAMPIONSHIP LAST MAN STANDING MATCH
John Cena defeated Batista to retain the WWE Championship: John Cena gave Batista the Attitude Adjustment off the ring steps through the announce table, but Batista survived. Batista hit Cena with a Spinebuster through a table, but Cena survived. Cena put Batista in the STF and he started tapping out (but that doesn’t count). Eventually Batista passed out from the pain, but managed to beat the 10-count and get back to his feet. Cena crotched Batista on the ring post and then duct taped his ankles together so Batista couldn’t get up to his feet. That was kind of cheap.
