(ECW) CHAMPIONSHIP SCRAMBLE (ECW WORLD TITLE)
Matt Hardy defeated Mark Henry (w/Tony Atlas) and Chavo Guerrero (w/Bam Neely) and Mike “the Miz” Mizanin and Fit Finlay to win the ECW World title: The rules state that when a pinfall happens, that wrestler becomes the “interim” champion, but only the wrestler who is champion at the 20:00 mark will be declared the official champion. Matt Hardy and Mike Mizanin started the match. Chavo Guerrero entered the Scramble next. Guerrero pinned Hardy to win the title. Hardy pinned Guerrero to win the title. Mark Henry entered the Scramble. Henry pinned Guerrero to win the title. Finlay pinned Hardy to win the title. Hardy pinned Mizanin to win the title with 3:00 remaining. Hardy worked his ass off and managed to survive until time ran out. Matt Hardy is the NEW ECW World champion!
(RAW) WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. defeated Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard & JTG) to retain the World Tag Team titles: After the match, Cryme Tyme tried to sneak attack Rhodes & DiBiase but an unknown wrestler (Afa Jr.) showed up to save the champions.
(RAW) NON-SANCTIONED GRUDGE MATCH
Shawn Michaels defeated Chris Jericho by referee stoppage: Shawn Michaels was out of his mind for this match, seeking revenge on Chris Jericho for punching his wife in the mouth at SummerSlam. Michaels jumped off the top rope outside of the ring putting both Jericho & Cade through a table with an incredible elbow drop! Michaels went crazy with punched to Jericho’s head until the referee ended the match (a Ring of Honor finish).
(SMACKDOWN) CHAMPIONSHIP SCRAMBLE (WWE HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE)
Triple H defeated Jeff Hardy and Shelton Benjamin and Montel Vontavious Porter and “The” Brian Kendrick (w/Ezekiel Jackson) to win the WWE Championship!: The rules state that when a pinfall happens, that wrestler becomes the “interim” champion, but only the wrestler who is champion at the 20:00 mark will be declared the official champion. Jeff Hardy and Shelton Benjamin started the match. Brian Kendrick entered the Scramble next. Hardy pinned Kendrick to win the title. Kendrick pinned Hardy to win the title. Montel Vontavious Porter entered the Scramble. Triple H entered the Scramble. HHH pinned Kendrick to win the title. Hardy pinned MVP to win the title. HHH pinned Kendrick to win the title. Hardy pinned Kendrick to win the title. HHH pinned MVP with one second remaining to win the title. Triple H was declared the new WWE champion, making him a 13-time WWE/World Heavyweight champion.
(RAW) BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
C.M. Punk + Randy Orton + Ted DiBiase Jr. & Cody Rhodes & Manu (Afa Jr.): Randy Orton interrupted C.M. Punk’s interview time and they continued their arguement from RAW. Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, and Manu showed up to attack C.M. Punk and Randy Orton did his running kick to the head on Punk, presumably taking Punk out of the RAW Championship Scramble later.
(SMACKDOWN) DIVAS TITLE MATCH
Michelle McCool defeated Maryse Ouellet to retain the Divas title:
(SMACKDOWN) IN THE RING
The Big Show + Vickie Guerrero + The Undertaker: The Big Show came out and said he wanted to replace C.M. Punk in the RAW Championship Scramble. SmackDown! General Manager Vickie Guerrero came out and called Big Show a “big dumb giant.” The Undertaker’s music played over the loud speaker and some druids wheeled a casket into the arena. The Undertaker came on the big screen and gave Vickie the chance to get into the casket voluntarily, otherwise he will come down and do it himself. She refused, and the Undertaker showed up and stalked Vickie, who tried to run away but was caught by the Big Show. The Undertaker was about to get his hands on Vickie when the Big Show turned heel and decked the Undertaker!! The Big Show proceeded to destroy the Undertaker. Undertaker fought back but Big Show slammed him back-first into the ring post. Vickie slapped the Undertaker and spit in his face! Vickie Guerrero & The Big Show left together.
CHAMPIONSHIP SCRAMBLE (WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE)
Chris Jericho (sub for C.M. Punk) defeated Batista and Rey Mysterio and John Bradshaw Layfield and Kane to capture the World Heavyweight title: The rules state that when a pinfall happens, that wrestler becomes the “interim” champion, but only the wrestler who is champion at the 20:00 mark will be declared the official champion. Batista and John Bradshaw Layfield started the match. Kane entered the Scramble next. Kane pinned JBL to win the title. Rey Mysterio entered the Scramble next. A still bloody Chris Jericho (surprise replacement for C.M. Punk) entered the Scramble last. Batista pinned Kane to win the title. Jericho pinned Kane to win the title just before time expired. Chris Jericho is awarded the World Heavyweight title!
