WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH
Kofi Kingston defeated Drew McIntyre to win the WWE Intercontinental title: After the match, Drew McIntyre whined and protested, demanding that the PPV be stopped until General Manager Theodore Long reversed the decision and give him back the title. Long came out in a Matt Hardy costume and refused to meet McIntyre’s demands. Matt Hardy then showed up and took McIntyre out with a Twist of Fate!

GRUDGE MATCH
R-Truth defeated Ted DiBiase Jr. w/Virgil: The original Virgil was in Ted DiBiase Jr.’s corner for the match. After the match, Matt Striker commented that it was a “victory for the common man” and Jerry Lawler was no impressed with that statement..

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Theodore Long & Drew McIntyre: Drew McIntyre was on a rampage demanding that Theodore Long reverse the decision and fire Matt Hardy too. Long stood his ground and refused both requests. McIntyre threatened to smash Long’s picture of Dr. Martin Luther King. McIntyre said King was a leader, but Long was spineless. McIntyre said he was more like King than Teddy ever will be!

REY JOINS SES VS. PUNK’S HAIR MATCH
Rey Mysterio defeated C.M. Punk: The Straight Edge Society (w/Luke Gallows & Serena) was banned from ringside. C.M. Punk was bloodied, and the match was temporarily stopped so the trainer could fix the wound. After the match, the mystery masked man (Joey Matthews) hit the ring and attacked Rey Mysterio, and was soon joined by Luke Gallows & Serena. They pulled out handcuffs but Kane showed up to save the day! Kane tossed Gallows out and choke-slammed Punk. Mysterio handcuffed Punk to the ropes and gave him the 619. Rey used a second set of cuffs to secure Punk’s other wrist and then proceeded to cut off Punk’s hair (not shave). Mysterio held up the mirror and Punk freaked out at what he saw! . . . UPDATE: C.M. Punk needed 13 staples in his forehead, with the report we got that it came from his head hitting a metal crease in the barricade. . [reported by Dave Meltzer]

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Chris Jericho & The Big Show: Chris Jericho sarcastically thanked the Big Show for helping to bring he and the Miz together as a tag team. Jericho suggested Big Show form a tag team with Bret Hart. Big Show threatened to knock out both Jericho & Miz.

UNIFIED TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd w/Natalya Neidhart) defeated Chris Jericho & Mike “The Miz” Mizanin to retain the Unified Tag Team titles: The Hart Dynasty won after hitting the Miz with their famous Hart Attack finisher.

SUPER GRUDGE MATCH
Randy Orton vs. Edge ended in a Double Countout: Randy Orton was pounding the mat setting up for an RKO when something went wrong and he injured his arm. The referee intervened and Orton jumped out of the ring. Edge jumped out and went for a spear, but Orton moved, and Edge crashed through the barricade resulting in the double countout. Not the planned finish, as they had to go home way too early. . . UPDATE: Randy Orton suffered a separated shoulder and not a broken forearm based on updated reports off the WWE web site and from backstage.. [reported by Dave Meltzer]

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
The Big Show defeated World Heavyweight champion Jack Swagger by DQ: Jack Swagger got himself disqualified by hitting Big Show with the belt. Terrible by PPV standards. Swagger whacked Big Show with a chair twice, but Big Show fought back and took him out with a choke-slam, a chairshot, a second choke-slam onto a chair, and finally a knockout punch!

WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH
Eve Torres defeated Maryse Ouellet to retain the WWE Diva’s title:

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP “I QUIT” MATCH
John Cena defeated Batista to retain the WWE Championship: John Cena had Batista in the STF, but he passed out before he could say the words “I Quit,” so Cena revived him by pouring water over his head. Batista slammed Cena through the spanish announce table, but he would not say “I Quit.” Late in the match, Batista tried to back a car over John Cena in the arena right in front of the fans. Everyone thought he was successful, but Cena popped up unharmed and went after Batista. Cena planted Batista with an Attitude Adjustment on top of the car. Cena then threatened a second Attitude Adjustment off the car, but Batista screamed “I QUIT” in an effort to save his own life! Cena threw Batista off anyway and he crashed through a gimmicked hole in the arena floor. After the match, Sheamus showed up and killed Cena with a vicious Bicycle-kick to the head!
