Smith talks about Hart Brothers Wrestling academy which he co-owns with his brother. They have upcoming live events and will be working with various charities such as local rotary clubs and youth hockey clubs.

Smith discussed his brother Bret winning the WWE United States championship. He is especially impressed because Bret has a variety of events coming up, such as writing another book, Stampede week activities, his upcoming wedding, the Calgary Hitmen hockey team, and his daughter becoming a musician.

Smith spoke about being part of the Wrestlemania 26 weekend frstivities. He.said it was good being with the whole family, since they’re so spread out and they dont get that opportunity very often. Smith didn’t think anyone was too stiff with Vince McMahon during the Bret Hart/McMahon match. He said he had fun because there was no script and eveything was on the fly.

Smith talked about being the first person to ever be stretched in “The Dungeon” and how it gave him an appreciation for submission wrestling. He discussed memories of all the wrestlers he has seen in The Dungeon over the years. He thinks The Stomper got stretched the worst. He said he thought the 3 best heels he’s ever seen were Waldo Von Erich, The stomper and Abdullah The Butcher.

Smith was asked about the 1993 Survivor Series where The Hart Family wrestled Shawn Michaels and his Knights. He said he was scheduled to appear but was unable to due to legal issues.

Smith discussed the fricition between The Hart family and Martha Hart (Owen’s widow). He said that Owen and Martha’s kids are very close with his kids. Smith is hopeful that time will heal the wounds. Smith thinks that Owen, not Bret is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.

Smith said the one person he could work with that he hasn’t would be Big Show, because it’s difficult to work with a giant. Smith thinks Big Show hasnt been used to the best of his ability.

SMith spole on not going to the WWF (at the time) when they purchased Stampede wrestling. He said at the time he was considered to be the black sheep of the family, so he wasnt told about the sale. He had concerns about Bruce being put in on the creative side. saying that Bruce had a habit of stealing his ides on several occasions, teking credit if it worked out and blaming Smith if it was bad.

Smith even told a road story about a picture of big black “bat,” as he put it, with The Bushwackers’ hands all over it. This is a historical event in the history of False Count Radio because it’s the first time that this topic of conversation came up, not involving New Jack or 2 Cold Scorpio.

Smith spoke about working with Sylvester Ritter (Junkyard Dog), training the Highlanders, Stu Hart wrestling a tiger, his future, indy shows, played word association, and much, much more

Smith is holding a Dungeon-style wrestling seminar on June 12th in Bradford, Ontario
