reDRagon def. Alabama Attitude
Fish & O’Reilly successfully retained their ROH World Tag Team titles after the brainbuster/kick combo. Was said to have been a good match. Fish then proceeds to tell a child in the audience that the Easter Bunny is a hoax!

Match Number Two: Corey Hollis and Mike Posey lost to QT Marshall and RD Evans
Match ended with Hollis with an elbow to Marshall but Marshall with a tilt-a-whirl uranage to Hollis. Posey with a leg lariat from the turnbuckles. Evans with a leg lariat to Posey. Evans pulls Hollis into the center of the ring and he gets a near fall. Evans with an Irish whip but Hollis moves when Evans charges into the corner. When Hollis goes to the apron, he kicks Marshall in the head. Hollis goes up top but Evans crotches Hollis. Hollis with a sunset flip power bomb and Posey with the Alabama Jam from the other corner and Marshall breaks up the cover.
Marshall hits God’s Gift on Hollis and Evans gets the three count.
Posey & Hollis return to ROH on 9/6-7 Birmingham, AL and Chattanooga, TN.
ANARCHY WRESTLING in CORNELIA, GA Posey & Hollis returned to face the Anarchy tag team champions, The Movement on 3-9 and faced Slim J & Seth Delay on 3-23. Posey & Hollis return to Anarchy on May 11 and defeated Seven Walters & John Skyler, pinning Walters after Skyler turned on his partner. Posey & Hollis were defeated by Gunner & Walters on 6-8-13. 6-22 Posey & Hollis defeated Foster & Coal (Squared Circle) and Hollis was defeated by Slim J, and Posey was defeated by the debuting Cody Hall. Mike Posey def Steven Walter on 6-29 and as a result will get Franklin Dove “in the ring”. On 7-13-13 Posey & Hollis def Joey Rhymer & BJ Hancock. On 7/27 Posey defeated Kyle Matthews. On 8-10 Posey & Hollis face The Movement.

Deep Southern Championship Wrestling was created in March of? of 2010 and started running shows once a month in Ellijay, Ga. We started out in a place known as Gilmer Golf and games. Our first show drew a crowd of 35 or 40 people. DSCW didn’t get discouraged though we kept giving good quality matches at a fair price and got our crowds up to 150 or more. We had to move to gyms and civic centers to support our fan base, drawing close to 600 on some of our big shows.

The aftermath of APW’s Freedom Fight had left the company with a bit of uncertainty. With Ashworth’s loss to Stryknyn, he was out of the spot as commisioner of the company. So the obvious question now…who’s the boss?
“The Sin City Saint” Brandon Parker captured the APW North Ga Championship by defeating Anthony Henry at FF 2013. The week following, he vindicated his victory by once again defeating the five star king, in a brutal ladder match. What’s next for Parker?
Anthony Henry made it clear that he had other things on his mind after his second loss to Parker. On August 9th, APW for the first time ever, will see the in-ring debut of Cody Hall. But, he’s not coming alone, with him will be his father, former WWE/WCW Superstar and one of the founding members of the infamous NWO, none other, than Scott Hall! Henry said that he wants to challenge Cody Hall to a match on that night. The only question, is will the new commisioner give him what he wants? And who is it?
To answer the previous question, last week the new commisioner did reveal himself, personally selected by APW’s Board of Directors, and much to the shagrin and Ashworth, it was “The Lethal Dose” Stryknyn!!! His first order of business, was to make a 4-man tournament to determine who would be the #1 Contender to the APW Southern States Championship. The 4 men, were Seth Delay, James Boulevard, Kevin Blue, and Jacob Ashworth. Advancing to the finals were Delay and Ashworth. Who will face off in the final this Friday night. Along with the match that the new commisioner Stryknyn made official. For the first time ever, going one on one, it will be Anthony Henry, taking on Cody Hall. All this and more takes place this Friday night August 9th!

August 3 Empire Wrestling Report from Rossville, GA

The building was standing room only, which I would estimate was a crowd of over 300 people for Empire’s “Crazy from the Heat” event.
1) The Double Dragons (KT & Keith “Chunky Dragon” Hamill) retained their tag team championship defeating Dyron Flynn & Lamar Phillips by pinfall after a top rope crossbody by “Chunky Dragon”
2) Shaun Tempers w/ Steve Dave d. Logan Alvey by pinfall after a low blow. Alvey laid out Steve Dave and blocked an attempt at spraying him(Alvey) in the eyes with “Temptation Spray” and got Tempers in the eyes but Tempers low blowed him and still was able to get the win.
3) Adam Jacobs d. Adam Roberts after Jacobs’ son hit Roberts with a spin kick. Roberts had previously told Jacobs’ young son that he would be pushing his dad in a wheelchair and calling him(Roberts) “Dad”. Roberts then later had tried to give Jacobs’ son(Brady) a Main Event Slam but was met with a superkick from Jacobs and then a spin kick from Brady.
4) Jason Hampton d. Ben Thrasher by pinfall after Shaun Banks attacked Ben Thrasher from the crowd. Thrasher was finally getting some revenge on Hampton after months and months of mounting conflicts until a “fan” that ended up being Shaun Banks landed a punch right in the face of Thrasher. Security escorted Banks out.
5) Chris Ganz d. Ryan Vega by pinfall. Ganz is a fan favorite and Vega is a debuting trainee of the Empire Wrestling School. They showed a lot of athleticism but Ganz picked up the pinfall after getting in front of Vega and swinging him forward on top of his head.
6) Matt Fortune d. Ace Rockwell in a 2 out of 3 falls match after interference from Shaun Tempers. Fortune got the first pinfall after hitting an “Aces High” Ace Crusher(Rockwell’s finisher). “Team Temptation” member Steve Dave came out only to get speared by Fortune when Rockwell moved out of the way. Rockwell battled back to roll up Matt and bridge over him after a hard fought battle. Rockwell climbed to the top rope and Tempers(now sporting an eye patch from his previous run in with “Temptation Spray” earlier) passed a can of the spray to Fortune and distracted the ref. As Rockwell came off the top, he was met with spray to the eyes which allowed Fortune to pin Rockwell for the victory.
7) The Illuminati d. The Devil’s Rejects by surrender in a War Games match.
The Illuminati recently fired big man Cyrus The Destroyer and were a man down for this War Games match. The Devil’s Rejects also had a mystery man which they revealed as “Violent Passion” Patrick Bentley. The Illuminati consisting of Jason & Brandon Collins and Johnny Viper have dominated Empire Wrestling for the last year and been a thorn in the side of any and every authority. The Devil’s Rejects were reinstated to take out the Illuminati and have since become fan favorites. They are led by The Revered and feature Andrew Alexander, Tank, and Rufus Black.
The three members of the Illuminati come to ringside first followed by the four members of the Rejects accompanied by The Reverend. Jason Collins and Patrick Bentley start the match. Brandon Collins is next. Tank in for the Rejects. Viper in for Illuminati. Rufus Black in to even the odds at 3 each. The Illuminati’s 4th spot is announced but no one comes out or goes into the cage for them. Andrew Alexander is about to go in when the Rejects’ turn comes up but he is attacked by the returning “Deadly Sin” Se7en, a former member of the Devil’s Rejects who is announced as the 4th member of the Illuminati. Alexander never makes it into the cage as Se7en and the other 3 members of the Illuminati inflict punishment on Tank, Rufus Black, and Bentley. The Reverend is thrown into the cage and Alexander attempts to crawl in to save him, announcing he will surrender the match if they leave The Reverend alone. They agree and he surrenders for the Rejects. The Illuminati then lay out all the members of the Rejects anyway, including Alexander and The Reverend. They celebrate and leave.
Alexander gets on the mic and challenges the new formation of the Illuminati to one more match with the losing team disbanding forever in Empire Wrestling. The Illuminati agree and the match will occur in one week on August 10 at the Gypsy Joe Benefit show being held in Rossville, GA at the Empire Wrestling Arena located at 22 Austin Dr.
