How much money would it take for you to step inside the ring with Brock Lesnar? For Lennox Lewis, the last undisputed world heavyweight boxing champion, somewhere around £5 million was not enough.
While being interviewed Tuesday on TSN’s Off the Record, Lennox was asked whether it was true that WWE head honcho Vince McMahon offered Lewis £5 million to fight Lesnar back in 2002. Lennox said that the money offer was “close” to £5 million. He also said that he “very seriously” considered taking the WWE up on that offer.
The reason he turned it down? They apparently wanted Lennox to wear gloves while Lesnar wouldn’t have worn any.
