Hello everyone and welcome to your Indy Wrestle Line Independent report I am the Weekend Warrior Randy Klemme.
———————————
Hopefully everyone had a chance to get out and enjoy an independent wrestling show in their area this weekend. I was at the WCWO show in Greensburg Saturday night and there was an excellent crowd in town for Cagefest 2007.
First let’s answer some questions left on the hotline…
Recently a caller asked about Tom Lynch and wanted to know if he was still alive. I have since learned that Tom lives in South Bend, Indiana and has a gym there. I believe he also works from CIW occasionally in northern Indiana and Southern Michigan.
It was nice to hear from Historian Bill. I haven’t seen Bill in awhile. Bill, I haven’t mentioned alot about IWA MidSouth alot because they cancelled their last show in Plainfield. I will be talking about them in the coming week as next weekend is the big Ian Rotten Retirement show in Plainfield, Indiana. It is difficult to mention every organization every week, especially when they do not run a show that week, due to the number of organizations around and the time limit of these reports…
To Ben in Shelbyville, Indiana, Pro Wrestling Ohio started after Cleveland All Pro Wrestling went on hiatus several months ago and took over their TV timeslot on Sports Time Ohio. PWO is still working out the production bugs on their TV show and is not near the quality that CAPW was. The talent in the organization is outstanding with Johnny Gargano, Jason Bane, Josh Prohibition, Matt Cross and others on the roster. For more information, you can go to their website at prowrestlingohio.com. Their next TV taping is scheduled for December 15th in Lakewood, Ohio.
and to Big Jim in Maryland, that website adress once again for the organizations in your area is prowrestlingevents.tk Jim, as for your question on the state athletic commissions, you have to do a little digging on the internet, but I did find the website for the Maryland Athltic Commission and I am sure there are others on the web, however I couln’t find a complete list for the commissions. If you want the web address for the Maryland Athletic Commission, just drop me an e-mail and I will send you the link. I did hear about what you were talking about, when referring to masked wrestlers appearing at Madison Square Gardens and if I am not mistaken, I think you were referring to the Spoiler when you mentioned the “foreign object” in the mask.
Word came late last night on the Midwest Insider Message Board that Drake Younger and Scotty Vorteks were both injured in the matches for IWA Deep South Saturday night in Pulaski, Tennessee. Drake suffered a possible ear injury and Scotty reportedly suffered a deep cut to his wrist. We will try to get an update as soon as possible.
Birthdays this coming week include IPW Smart Mark Brett celebrating a birthday on Monday….and Northern Indiana Indy Wrestler High Voltage celebrating on Wednesday of this week….
