IWF Thanksgiving Thunder Events Nov 17-18 @ West Paterson, NJ:
Featuring Texas Death Tag Match & Return of the BoneCrusher

(WEST PATERSON, NJ)- The Independent Wrestling Federation kicks off the holiday season with a bang as live action returns with Thanksgiving Thunder Weekend on Saturday, November 17, 7:30 pm and Sunday, November 18, 4 pm at IWF Centre, 32 Willow Way, West Paterson, NJ. Here is a preview of the extravaganzas.

Day one November 17th features The War to Settle The Score in a No Disqualification Texas Death Tag Team Match where the fans bring the foreign objects! IWF Heavyweight Champion Tony Torres of Latin Revolution joins forces with IWF American Champion Kevin Knight to battle former American Champion Travis Blake and former Heavyweight Champion Franciz of The Ross Family with Commissioner Rich Ross. With Torres and Knight set to meet the next day one-on-one as ordered by Boss Ross, how well will they function as a team in this explosive anything-goes tag team war?

In a return bout for the IWF Junior Heavyweight Title, champion Antonio Rivera of Latin Revolution tangles with challenger Chris Steeler. Last month at Evil Intentions, Rivera was victorious over Steeler, but Chris ambushed Antonio in the aisle on his way back to the dressing room and left the champ in a heap. As seen on the Eruption Webcast, Rivera has asked for this rematch.

After issuing an open challenge on the Eruption Webcast to anyone in the IWF, new Tag Team Champions see singles action as Justin Corino faces up and comer Kareem West; while Frank Scoleri squares off against rookie Mike Jenkins.

In other singles action, Jana tries to straighten out the new attitude of Dan Schwartz; while Jason Roberts seeks revenge against Bryan Harley after being attacked by the behemoth last month at Evil Intentions. Plus Barry Delaney, and much more to be announced. Check back soon for updates.

On day two November 18th for the first-time-ever, both the IWF Heavyweight Title and the American Title are on the line as Tony Torres faces Kevin Knight. Much to the dismay of Boss Ross, the championship committee has appointed former IWF Champion BoneCrusher Fred Sampson as the special guest referee to prevent any possible Ross Family interference.

Prior to his officiating task, the returning Sampson sees singles action against in a tough test against Bryan Harley

Ross Family members see singles competition as in a non-title match, 340-pound mastodon Franciz meets Antonio Rivera; while Simply Stellar Travis Blake faces old rival Jana.

In an IWF Tag Team Title Match, rookies Kareem West and Mike Jenkins look to do the impossible and dethrone the champions Justin Corino and Frank Scoleri.

Also, the returning Dangerous Dan McGuire takes to the mat against Chris Steeler. Plus Matt Bennett, and much more to be announced. Check back soon for updates. For more information or to watch the Eruption Webcast, which provides a preview of the upcoming Live Events, visit www.WrestlingIWF.com.

WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana Triumphantly Returned October 27-28:
Evil Intentions Weekend Live Event Results from West Paterson, NJ

(WEST PATERSON, NJ)- It was a historic happening at the Independent Wrestling Federation’s Evil Intentions Weekend Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28 at IWF Centre, West Paterson, NJ. The extravaganzas featured the triumphant return of WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana, a former WWE Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion.

Day one October 27 featured a blockbuster Six-Man Tag Team Match as WWE Legend Tito Santana united with two-time IWF Heavyweight Champion Tony Torres of Latin Revolution and American Champion Kevin Knight to defeat The Ross Family…including 340-pound mastodon Franciz, Simply Stellar Travis Blake and Aaron Stride with Commissioner Rich Ross. After Torres nailed a spear on Blake for the win, Justin Corino, Frank Scoleri and Bryan Harley ambushed Santana while The Ross Family recovered to attack Torres and Knight.

In a Strap Match not for the weak at heart, Biggie Biggs was successful in seeking retribution against Bryan Harley. On Eruption Webcast, Harley, Corino and Scoleri conspired to choke-out and hang Biggs. In this war of the behemoths, they were bound at the wrist with a 10-foot leather strap that was used as a weapon to whip the hide off each others’ backs. Biggs was the first participant to touch all four ring corners consecutively and therefore declared the winner.

The IWF Junior Heavyweight Title remained with champion Antonio Rivera of Latin Revolution after turning back the challenge of nemesis Chris Steeler. On Eruption Webcast, Steelers’ henchman Mister Gregory scored a controversial win over Rivera after outside interference. Antonio shook off any lingering effects after the defeat at the hands of Gregory and retained his belt on October 27.

In an Amateur Wrestling Challenge, Steve Camacho went down to defeat as he took to the mat against Justin Corino. Last month, Camacho’s team regained the IWF Tag Team Titles from Corino’s team, and Justin was out for revenge in a match that favored his in ring style. Yet this athletic contest conducted under amateur rules ended in the second round in controversial fashion after Corino scored a tainted victory after striking a low blow.

In a Fatal-Four-Way Gauntlet Elimination Match, popular diva Jana, powerhouse Dan Marques, and up and coming rookie Kareem West were outlasted by Frank Scoleri, who earned three impressive victories.

Day two Sunday, October 28 saw another Six-Man Tag Team Match as Tito Santana joined forces with Biggie Biggs and Antonio Rivera to thwart Justin Corino, Frank Scoleri and Bryan Harley. After being hung on Eruption, Biggs successfully enlisted the assistance of Santana and Rivera in this grudge match that ended when Rivera pinned Corino.

In an IWF Heavyweight Title Match, two-time champion Tony Torres retained his title with a hard fought win over former champion Franciz. The mastodon was unsuccessful in his attempt to regain the title from the Latin Revolution kingpin and return gold to the family.

The IWF American Title was up for grabs in an intense Submission Match as champion Kevin Knight held off the challenge of former champion Travis Blake. While Blake’s vast technical wrestling skills almost proved worth, Knight was declared the winner after chocking out Travis with a wooden leg taken from a chair Blake first tried to use as a spike on Kevin.

The IWF Tag Team Titles returned to whom many believe are the rightful owners as Justin Corino and Frank Scoleri dismantled two-time champions Mike Durnin and Steve Camacho after Corino pinned Durnin after a double-team top rope leg drop.

In singles action, Chris Steeler bested Kareem West after an axe kick, while Dan Schwartz pinned Jason Roberts countering a DDT attempt into a roll-up. For more information, or to view exclusive photos, or to order a DVD of Evil Intentions Weekend, visit www.WrestlingIWF.com.
