=====================================================================

As part of The Mayhem’s farewell to its long-time co-host, The Angry Hero, we found it fitting to bring back one of our favorite guests in our five+ year show history — the pioneer of TNA’s X-Division & one of the best technical wrestlers in the history of Extreme Championship Wrestling, Jerry Lynn.

To start things off, The Big Mosh asked what went wrong with Jerry & TNA. Jerry said that he was not used for television tapings for about a month and was not getting paid for it, so he asked for his release & the rest is history.

The Angry Hero asked about the direction Total Nonstop Action was going when Jerry was on the shows. Jerry said that he was disappointed and felt that he had a lot more to offer. There are other talent in the company that are older than him, so he feels that making a deal about his age is something his critics should not worry about.

The Big Mosh asked about Adam “Packman” Jones and whether or not his presence will have a positive effect on the company. Jerry said it simply depends on how TNA uses him. When it came to using former Tennessee Titans tight end, Frank Wycheck, both Frank & the company did a great job.

Mosh & Blade mentioned that since both Jerry & Rob Van Dam are now free agents, what are the chances of their “dream match” happening in the future. Jerry said that it would probably would have never happened in TNA, because they were not pushing Jerry to that extent. He always looks forward to working with Rob again sometime in the future.

When it comes to possibly joining back up with the WWE (in the form of the ECW brand), Jerry said that if the money was there, then he could possibly see himself doing it & going back.

All of this goodness & more can be found in this near 25-minute interview on The Mayhem: including Jerry’s uncensored thoughts & takes on a possible future in Ring Of Honor, as well as the chances of the federal government stepping in to regulate professional wrestling.
