  3. NYWC Benefit Show for Evelynn Biondo 10/13

In late June of this year, Evelynn Marie Biondo, an 11-week-old infant girl, was violently abused and irreparably damaged by her father, Joshua Cohen, in an incident that has left many Long Islanders stunned and truly saddened.  Evelynn, who has amazingly overcome the life-threatening effects of “Shaken Baby Syndrome,” is still facing an extremely difficult road.  She will need to overcome extensive neurological damage that has led to low muscle tone and retinal hemorrhages, and some loss of vision.

The New York Wrestling Connection is happy to be a part of her recovery effort, as we will present a tremendous wrestling show with the singular purpose of raising money for her ongoing treatment, and to help ease the burden on her mother, Alicia.  All proceeds — every last penny — will be donated to Evelynn’s cause.

“Evening for Evelynn” will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at William Floyd High School, 240 Mastic Beach Road, Mastic Beach, NY.  Starting at 7:00 PM, tickets are only $10 each and will be worth every cent as the stars of the NYWC give their all with baby Evelynn on their minds!

More information about this show will be posted soon.  In the meantime, learn more about Evelynn and her journey toward recovery at www.evelynnmariebiondo.com.Â
