[WWE News] I really enjoyed RAW last night. Congratulations to William Regal on winning the prestigeous KING OF THE RING tournament. Even though I am Canadian, I was pleasantly surprised by the hilarious appearances by the REAL Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John McCain – and was mildly amused by the impersonators who worked the “Presidential SmackDown!” match. By the way, who was that? I wanna say Hillary was played by Lexie Fyfe, but I’m not sure.

[Search] This is from Dave Meltzer’s WrestlingObserver.com website, but I thought I would help spread the word. Plus it’s an interesting tidbit of information —- –Jonathan Sarpolis, the grandson of Karl “Doc” Sarpolis, a famous wrestler who some have credited with inventing blading (I’ve also heard it attributed to a Mexican wrestler and since the Amarillo circuit worked close to the Mexico border, am guessing one took it from the other), is looking for information on his grandfather. If anyone knows anything he’d love to hear at [email protected]
[ROH News] Fate Of World Tag Titles Determined – There was a lot of debate in the ROH offices today about what to do with the ROH World Tag Team Titles. Jay & Mark Briscoe won the belts for the 5th time on 4/12 in Edison, NJ. However, Mark was viciously attacked last Saturday in Chicago Ridge, IL by The Age Of The Fall. The attack saw Jimmy Jacobs stab Mark in the wrist, causing severe ligament damage. ROH officials decided that it was unfair to strip Jay Briscoe of the titles. After exploring several different possibilities, it has been decided that Jay will be able to pick a replacement partner and continue to defend the belts.
