If you missed Tuesday September 28th edition of the Online World of Wrestling Radio with host Alan Wojcik, here are the highlights:
Interviews with Greg Oliver, Bruno Lauer, and Homicide.
***Slam! Wrestling’s GREG OLIVER joined the show to discuss his recent interview with Lance Cade’s former tag team partner Trevor Murdoch. Mr. Oliver also provided an audio clip from the interview that will truly change your view on wrestling. Here is your link to the column.
***Former WWE manager and personality BRUNO LAUER (Downtown Bruno/Harvey Wippleman) stopped by to share memories of his recently departed friends Jorge “El Gigante” Gonzalez, Luna Vachon, and Mike Shaw. He also answered some listener questions on traveling with Gonzalez and working with Sid Justice and Bertha Faye. Mr. Lauer’s book Wrestling with the Truth is available in bookstores and through Amazon.com.
***Alan celebrated his favorite baseball team (NY Yankees) clinching a playoff spot with his special guest & fellow fan “THE NOTORIOUS 187” HOMICIDE who spent ninety minutes talking about his time in TNA Wrestling, Ring of Honor, Jersey All-Pro Wrestling, the injuries he has been hit with and given out plus his current roles in Evolve & CZW. The chat room and the email inbox provided some great questions including one about an interesting match Homicide had against CM Punk when both men wrestled for Full Impact Pro that involved pole dancers. This interview is well worth the time to check out.
***Following a break Alan and WTR uber god SIR ROCKIN recapped Monday Night RAW and announced the Hell in the Cell PPV matches, the death of the WWE Tag Team championship lineage, what they hope will come from Friday Night Smackdown going to SyFy and the apparent removal of NXT from TV. Alan and Sir Rockin also recapped TNA iMPACT and the announced Bound for Glory PPV matches plus offered best wishes to Knockout Tara as she deals with health issues and Women Superstars Uncensored’s move to iPPV.
