  • December 2013–Richie Steamboat (Richard Blood Jr.) is still under contract to WWE. The son of WWE legend Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat hasn’t wrestled in about a year due to back injuries which as of the last we had heard were considered career threatening. There is still no estimate on when he will return.
  • April 2015: Richie Steamboat’s dad Ricky confirmed in an interview that Richie will no longer be able to wrestle. He injured 4 discs in his back and has had surgery but won’t be able to follow in his footsteps.
