IN THE RING
TNA Management, Jim Cornette + The Main Event Mafia (Kurt Angle & Kevin Nash & Scott Steiner & Booker T w/Sharmell) + Jeff Jarrett: Most of the TNA roster was out in the iMPACT Zone. Jim Cornette talked about Lockdown matches Sting vs. Mick Foley, and announced the Lethal Lockdown match – basically TNA’s version of War Games. Cornette said there would be a 20-man cage gauntlet match with the final two earning the right to be captains in the Lethal Lockdown match on April 19th. Cornette said it was a new day in TNA and everyone will be given the same opportunity. Kurt Angle came out with the rest of the Main Event Mafia, except for Sting. Angle said there was no opportunity for anybody tonight. Angle said he would be one of the final two, and gain the advantage going into Lockdown. Angle said he would pick Booker, Kevin (Nash), and Scotty (Steiner) to be on his team. Angle promised to dominate TNA throughout 2009 and 2010, and there’s nothing anybody can do about it. Jeff Jarrett came out and said he would be one of the twenty competitors tonight and his only mission is to make sure Angle is NOT one of the team captains. Gee, you can see where this is going from a mile away!

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Jeremy Borash & The Main Event Mafia (Kurt Angle & Kevin Nash & Scott Steiner & Booker T w/Sharmell): Survivor: Amazon winner Jenna Morasca is now hanging out with the Main Event Mafia. Lame. Kurt Angle took Scott Steiner’s lead pipe and threatened to bash Jeff Jarrett with it and shove it right up his @ss!

TNA X-DIVISION TITLE MATCH
Suicide (Christopher Daniels) defeated Kiyoshi w/No Limit to retain the TNA X-Division title:

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT: Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett had to be pulled apart by other wrestlers in the locker-room after a heated brawl…

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Lauren Brooke & The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky) & Madison Rayne: Lauren talked about an offhand comment last week which lead to the office booking the Beautiful People against Awesome Kong & Raisha Saed tonight. Angelina said the Beautiful People don’t sweat Kong, because the Beautiful don’t sweat.. EVER! Angelina said they decided that they want the TNA Knockout’s title. Velvet told Madison Rayne that the hazing will continue tonight!

SIT-DOWN INTERVIEW
Mike Tenay & Team 3-D (Brothers Ray & Devon) & Beer Money Inc. (James Storm & Robert Roode): Team 3-D and Beer Money bickered about their match at Lockdown. Beer Money said when they beat Team 3-D they will become bigger than the Steiners and the Road Warriors. Brother Ray quoted his old friend Tazz, “beat us if you can; survive, if the fans in Philadelphia let you!” Robert Roode asked if Team 3-D knew what they got themselves into.

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Lauren Brooke & TNA World champion Sting: Lauren said Sting would be face-to-face with Mick Foley tonight. Sting said there was no logical explanation for what Foley did to him last week. Sting said he doesn’t know if it was the right call, but whatever it was, there are no excuses…

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Lauren Brooke & Mick Foley: Mick Foley said he and Sting were going to shake hands and put everything behind them tonight because if there was one thing the fans wanted to see it was two men hugging. Haha, hilarious!

TNA KNOCKOUTS TAG TEAM MATCH
The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky w/Madison Rayne) defeated Awesome Kong & Raisha Saed : After the match, the Beautiful People attacked and triple-teamed Awesome Kong. Madison Rayne tried to snip off some of Kong’s hair, but Kong fought back and knocked the Beautiful People out of the ring!

IN THE RING
TNA World champion Sting + Mick Foley: Sting said he can’t figure out Mick Foley, so he asked him to come out and explain. Foley said he doesn’t blame Sting for being upset with him. Foley said it was a big misunderstanding, and pointed out that he had just taken a beating from Kurt Angle. Foley showed video footage while issuing his excuse for smashing Sting with a chair last week. Sting said he was trying to protect Foley last week. Sting said he was starting to lose respect for Foley right now. Foley said a lot of people could use Sting’s help, but NOT HIM. Foley talked about reliving his glory days with Hardcore History 101. Foley said the tables of time turned and claimed nobody is talking about that other wrestling show in April (WrestleMania 25) – they are talking about Lockdown! Sure, Mick. Foley said they will not be reliving history at Lockdown, they will be making history! Foley said he’s still got a couple dives off the cage left in him… BANG BANG!!!

20-MAN GAUNTLET CAGE MATCH
Won by Samoa Joe (runner up: Kurt Angle): The final two get to be captains for the Lethal Lockdown match at Lockdown. The winner gets the one man “advantage” during the show. A.J. Styles and Abyss started the match. Alex Shelley was competitor #3. Jay Lethal entered at #4. Chris Sabin entered at #5. Matt Morgan entered at #6. Abyss eliminated Morgan by pinfall. Homicide entered at #7. Consequences Creed was #8. Scott Steiner was #9. Rhino entered at #10. Jeff Jarrett was #11, but he was attacked by Kurt Angle during his entrance. Angle bashed Jarrett’s arm with a chair! One of the NO LIMIT guys entered at #12. Alex Shelley was eliminted. Kurt Angle entered at #13, and took a few extra shots at Jeff Jarrett as he was being helped by trainers. Creed was eliminated by Angle. Sabin was eliminated by Angle. Lethal was eliminated by Angle. The NO LIMIT guy was eliminated. Shane Sewell entered at #14. Sewell was eliminated by Angle. Sheik Abdul Bashier entered at #15. Booker T entered at #16. Styles was eliminated by Booker T. Booker T was eliminated by Rhino. The other guy from NO LIMIT entered at #17. The Sheik thought he formed an alliance with the Main Event Mafia, but they turned on him and he was eliminated by Angle. Eric Young entered at #18. Abyss was eliminated by Angle & Steiner. Young was eliminated by Angle. The other NO LIMIT guy was eliminated by Rhino. Rhino was eliminated by Angle. Steiner and Angle were standing alone at this point. Hernandez entered at #19. Hernandez put up a good fight but he was eliminated by Angle. Jim Cornette sent Jeff Jarrett in for the #20 spot and a second chance! Don West complained…. Steiner was eliminated by Jarrett. That means Jarrett and Angle will be team captains for Lethal Lockdown (or so it seemed). Jarrett hit the Stroke, but Steiner broke up the pinfall. Steiner suplexed Jarrett on his injured shoulder, allowing Angle to pin Jarrett and win the match! Samoa Joe hit the ring as the #21 entry and took the fight to Kurt Angle! Angle hit an Angle-slam, but Joe no-sold it. Joe hit Angle with the Muscle-buster and scored the 1-2-3 to win the match! They are rekindling the Joe-Angle saga – AWESOME!

RINGSIDE SEGMENT: Jim Cornette joined Mike Tenay & Don West on commentary. West complained about Jeff Jarrett getting a second chance, and Cornette defended his decision. West made a comment that those rules would not apply to anybody BUT the TNA Founder.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
The Main Event Mafia (Kurt Angle & Scott Steiner & Kevin Nash & Booker T): Kurt Angle complained about Jeff Jarrett and said the Main Event Mafia would end Samoa Joe’s career at Lockdown. Angle begged Joe to bring Jeff Jarrett so they can end both of their careers!

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Lauren Brooke & Samoa Joe: Samoa Joe said he wasn’t interested in being a captain or fighting the good fight. Joe said his interest was to torture the Main Event Mafia. Joe said he didn’t know who would captain the team but he will be apart of Lethal Lockdown and this (the Samoan Tribal Knife) was coming with him!
