“Showtime” Eric Young vs. “The IT Factor” Bobby Roode
This is being billed as the “final encounter” between these two so this should finally be the culmination of the feud. Roode tosses EY back in the ring but as Roode started to roll back in EY stomped on him repeatedly. EY whips Roode into the corner and attempts a Splash, but Roode moves and lands on the top turnbuckles. Roode kicks EY off the top and crotches him on the ropes. Roode knocks EY to the floor again and follows him out, but EY rakes his eyes and rolls Roode back in the ring. EY hits a Running Back Elbow and attempts to whip Roode into the corner, but Roode reverses it only for EY to flip over the top turnbuckle and land on the apron. EY attempts a Shoulderblock through the ropes on Roode but Roode moves and then kicks EY and goes to lock in the Crossface! EY quickly gets to the ropes and then bails out to the floor. EY starts to retreat up the ramp but then eats a Northern Lariat from Roode! Roode puts EY in the Crossface on the ramp but the referee reminds him that he can’t win on the outside. Roode throws EY back in the ring and then attempts to whip EY into the corner, but EY reverses it and then Roode attempts to float over the charging EY only to land bad on his knee. EY charges right into the Double-R Spinebuster from Roode! Roode grabs his knee and then collapses to the mat as the referee checks on him.

EY attempts a clothesline but Roode catches his arm and locks EY in the Crossface! EY manages to get to the ropes with his feet to break the hold again. Roode trips EY and locks in him in the Boston Crab! EY manages to get to the ropes again to break the hold and Roode sells his knee like just putting EY in the Boston Crab was hurting him. Roode goes to pick EY up but EY grabs Roode by his tights and tosses him through the ropes to the floor. EY slams Roode onto the ring steps and then pulls Roode’s kneepad down on his injured leg and slams it down onto the ring steps! EY rolls Roode into the ring and trades strikes with Roode in the middle of the ring. EY whips Roode into the ropes but Roode’s leg gives out on him and he falls to the mat. EY quickly grabs Roode’s legs and puts him in the Figure Four again! Roode is able to reverse the hold but Roode has to release the hold because of the pain in his own leg. EY goes for the Figure Four again but Roode kicks him away! EY falls into the referee and then turns around right into the Crossface from Roode! EY taps out but the referee is still down. Roode gets the referee’s attention after releasing the hold and then walks into a Back Heel Kick from EY! EY puts Roode in the Figure Four and the two men start slapping each other before Roode finally succumbs to the pain and taps out!

TNA Tag Team Champions the Wolves come down to the ring with Eddie Edwards on crutches. Footage of The Wolves winning the Tag Titles a few weeks ago against The Revolution is shown as they come to the ring. Footage of Edwards’ injury at a One Night Only PPV taping is then shown as well as the actual x-ray showing Eddie’s foot injury.
A visibly frustrated Eddie Edwards says that pro wrestling is a very dangerous sport and every time they come to the ring they risk injury. He says that he and Davey take things to the limit and this time it cost him. He says that he fought through the injury when it first happened but as soon as he got to the back reality settled in. He says they didn’t know how bad it was until he got to the hospital and he says that he fractured his heel. An “Eddie Edwards” chant starts up and Eddie says that he is going to be out for a while so he and Davey cannot defend their titles.
Borash asks Davey if he will try to find another partner to defend the titles, but Davey says that he and Eddie are more than partners they are family. He says that they started this journey together and they went through hell to be able to stand with their “Wolves Nation” to say that they are the best tag team in the world. He said wolves hunt in a pack so without one member there are no Wolves. He says that they have decided that they will relinquish the titles until Eddie can come back and they can once again regain their belts.
Davey places the tag titles on the turnbuckles and then says that whichever team ends up winning those belts The Wolves WILL hunt them down no matter who it is. He says that the Wolves will hunt them, capture them, and tear them to shreds! Davey says no matter how much they get down they will always come back stronger because their hunt never dies.
Backstage Christy Hemme is with Lashley. He says that every time he gets knocked down he always picks himself up. He says that the first time he faced Angle he beat him but he won’t cry about it. He says that Angle has something that belongs to him and he will get it back.

The cast of Destination America’s “Ghost Asylum” (redneck version of “Ghost Adventures”) walk into The Revolution’s camp as James Storm has invited them. James said that there was an accident that happened in the barn behind them between friends and someone died. It’s the barn that Storm drags the members of The Revolution, like Manik and Sanada, into. Storm wants the “Ghost Asylum” guys to investigate the barn to see if his “friend” still inhabits it. Storm tells the rest of The Revolution that his granddaddy told him to never go into that barn with your friends. That was corny as hell.
