The 2013 TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view kicks off with a video package looking at TNA’s past 11 years. It shifts focus to Bully Ray and Aces & 8s.

We’re live from the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts. We see all three announce teams.

Ultimate X for the X Division Title: Chris Sabin vs. Suicide vs. Kenny King

We go to the ring and out first comes Chris Sabin. Suicide is out next followed by TNA X Division Champion Kenny King.

The bell rings and they go at it. Suicide and Sabin double team King early on. Sabin goes at it with Suicide now. Suicide takes both men down and sends them to the floor. Suicide climbs up. Sabin takes a nasty fall outside of the ring and smacks his face on the apron. King and Suicide go at it now. Sabin comes back in and goes at it with King. More back and forth action. Suicide dumps Sabin on his head. King stops Suicide and climbs up but is pulled back to the mat. The crowd chants for Sabin as he suplexes Suicide. Sabin chokes King with his boot in the corner. More back and forth until Suicide comes over. Sabin lays them both out. Sabin suplexes Suicide on top of King and climbs up.

Sabin and King go down in the ring while Suicide falls hard outside of the ring after King kicked him in the face. King dodges a kick and locks in a single leg Boston Crab on Sabin. Suicide breaks it up and applies a submission on King. Suicide and King trade shots now. Suicide ends up taking Sabin and King out. Suicide climbs up and out on the ropes. King pulls him down and drops him with a right hand. Sabin with a brainbuster on King. King comes back and climbs out for his title. Suicide pulls him down. King counters. Sabin drops Suicide with an enziguri. More back and forth with all three. King nails a blockbuster off a springboard. Lots of big moves on the apron by Suicide. He takes them both out with a springboard dropkick. Sabin ties them both up in the corner and climbs up and they meet him. All 3 hit the mat hard. King and Suicide go for the belt at the same time. They meet in the middle. Suicide goes down. Sabin comes out and meets King in the middle. King falls to the mat. Sabin pulls himself back up and grabs the belt for the win.

Winner and New X Division Champion: Chris Sabin

– After the match, Hulk Hogan comes out with his hand bandaged from the recent burn incident. Hogan raises Sabin’s hand and gives him props for the win. Hogan hypes Boston and calls Sabin the future of the business. The crowd chants for Hogan. Hogan says the X Division Champion will get a World Title shot at Destination X again this year. Hogan congratulates Sabin and shakes his hand.

– Hogan heads to the ring and says it’s time to get down to business. He’s interrupted by Aces & 8s. Out comes Mr. Anderson, Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff to the ring.

Anderson cuts a promo and says Aces & 8s will steal the show tonight. Hogan says Boston ain’t afraid of no ghosts, ain’t scared of terrorists and aren’t afraid of three pussies wearing leather. Hogan talks about how the TNA guys will take care of Aces tonight. Hogan threatens to bitch slap Garett. Hogan says Garett is a bitch and his father is a bitch. The six-man match is up next.

Mr. Anderson, Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff vs. Magnus, Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy

Hogan does the introductions as Magnus makes his way out followed by Samoa Joe. Jeff Hardy comes out next to a big pop. The bell rings and Aces attack from behind to get the brawl going. It comes down to Anderson and Hardy beginning the match. Anderson works Hardy over in the corner. Garett comes in and takes over but Hardy turns things around with a dropkick. Joe comes in and unloads on Bischoff. Bischoff turns it around. Bischoff comes off the second rope but misses and he lands hard. A “you can’t wrestle” chant starts up. Joe with more offense, knees and a 2 count. Anderson tags in but Joe knocks him down. Magnus comes in and they double team Anderson. Magnus with a 2 count after a backsplash from Joe. Anderson and Magnus go at it now. Magnus catches him in mid-air and nails a suplex.

Anderson turns it around with a big clothesline after a cheap shot from Brisco. Anderson goes up top but Magnus stops him. Anderson runs over Magnus for a 2 count. Brisco comes in and keeps the attack on Magnus. Anderson comes back in and keeps Magnus down. Another tag to Brisco. Magnus finally tags in Hardy. Hardy dances and nails a clothesline. Hardy goes at it with Brisco. Bischoff and Anderson come in but Hardy takes them out. Hardy with a Twist of Fate on Bischoff. Brisco cuts him off from behind. Hardy fights back and nails Whisper in the Wind. 2 count on Brisco as Garett broke the pin. Joe and Magnus come in to clean house. Hardy nails a pair of Twist of Fates. Hardy goes for the Swanton while the referee is distracted. Bischoff knocks him down on the top. Joe and Magnus with some big double teaming on Bischoff. Joe and Anderson go at it on the stage. Brisco takes out Magnus but Hardy nails the Swanton on Brisco for the win.

Winners: Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe and Magnus

– Jeremy Borash is backstage with Joseph Park. He talks about Boston and how he will win the Television Title from Devon tonight. Devon and Knox attack Park from behind and beat him around the backstage area.

Gutcheck Finals: Jay Bradley vs. Sam Shaw

We go to the ring and out first comes Jay Bradley. Sam Shaw is out next.

The bell rings and Shaw takes Bradley down to the mat quickly, trying to go for a pin right away. Shaw chases Bradley into the corner and pulls him out hard on his back. Shaw clamps on a headlock, and Bradley fights his way out of it, slamming Shaw head first into the corner. Shaw avoids a splash and hits an arm drag, taking Bradley to the mat and putting him in another headlock. Bradley fights up to his feet and slams Shaw down to the mat with a belly to back suplex. Bradley stomps away at Shaw’s midsection before dropping an elbow and missing. Shaw hits a monkey flip to send Bradley out of the corner, but he misses a second attempt and ends up being pulled to the mat hard. Bradley lays in a couple of hard right hands to Shaw before whipping him into the corner and dropping a huge knee to the chest.

Bradley hits a big head butt, and even though Shaw tries to fight back, he only gets a backbreaker for his troubles. Bradley tries for the pin, but Shaw kicks out at two. Bradley catches Shaw with a knee to the side of the head before trapping him in a rear chin lock. Shaw fights up to his feet and out of the hold, and then hits a kind of Thesz press to take Bradley down with a series of right hands. Shaw hits a dropkick and a back elbow to take Bradley down before he hits shotgun double knees in the corner. Shaw hits the Randy Orton backbreaker, but misses a neckbreaker and eats a poke to the eye. Bradley hits a giant clothesline and pins Shaw for the three count.

Winner: Jay Bradley

TNA Television Title Match: Joseph Park vs. Devon

We go to the ring and out comes TNA TV Champion Devon with Knox. The music for Joseph Park hits but he doesn’t appear after the beatdown earlier. Devon takes the mic and cuts a promo against Park and the city of Boston. Devon tells the referee to ring the bell and count Park out. The bell rings and the referee starts counting. Park doesn’t appear and Devon is the winner.

Winner: Devon

– Devon takes the mic and starts ripping into Park and Abyss. Devon says he would whoop Abyss like did Park, if he was here. Devon says since Abyss isn’t here, he’s going back to the clubhouse to drink beers and play with strippers. The music hits and out comes Abyss to the ring. He takes out Knox and Devon. It looks like we have a match.

TNA TV Title Match: Devon vs. Abyss

Devon turns things around and works Abyss over in the corner. Devon keeps up the attack and drops a leg. Devon mocks Hulk Hogan. Abyss makes the comeback and nails a chokeslam. Devon kicks Abyss in the face but Abyss nails a Blackhole Slam for the win. Abyss is announced as the new Television Champion.

Winner and New TNA TV Champion: Abyss

– Dixie Carter comes to the ring and calls the roster out. She announces that Kurt Angle will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame during Bound For Glory weekend this year. Angle comes out and looks on as we see a video package looking back at his time in TNA. Angle gets emotional as Dixie talks to him. Angle thanks the fans, his family, Dixie and her family. Angle says TNA made him like wrestling again. Angle puts over people in the back and says it’s the best roster in the world. He thanks Dixie again and Jeff Jarrett.

– We see footage of Sting arriving earlier.

– JB is backstage with Kazarian and Daniels. They talk about their opponents and how Bad Influence will become the new TNA Tag Team Champions tonight.

TNA Tag Team Title Elimination Match: Daniels & Kazarian vs. James Storm & Gunner vs. Austin Aries & Bobby Roode vs. Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez 

Out first comes Bad Influence followed by Austin Aries and Bobby Roode then James Storm and Gunner. The TNA Tag Team Champions Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero are out next. Daniels starts the match out with Chavo.

Daniels and Chavo go at it. Chavo takes control and Daniels catches a shot from Hernandez on the apron. Hernandez comes in and works over Daniels before Aries gets tagged in. Aries and Chavo go at it now. Roode comes in but Chavo drops him and applies a headlock. Storm comes in and faces off with former partner Roode. They have words and Roode strikes first. Storm fires back and nails a clothesline. Gunner tags in and Roode tags Hernandez. They have words and meet in the middle of the ring with shoulders. A brawl breaks out with everyone involved. Hernandez drops Kaz and Daniels with a double backbreaker. Roode and Aries clear the ring until Storm and Gunner come in.

Kaz and Daniels clear the ring now. Chavo and Hernandez run the ramp and leap into the ring, taking Kaz and Daniels out. Double teaming on Daniels for a 2 count. Hernandez with a big suplex on Daniels but Kaz comes in with a kick. Hernandez is sent to the floor and sells a leg injury. Kaz and Daniels double team Hernandez for a 2 count now. Roode comes in and keeps up the attack on Hernandez. More back and forth. Hernandez ends up hitting a double suplex on Roode and Aries. Chavo tags in and goes at it with Kaz. Chavo with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and big shot in the corner for a 2 count. Daniels accidentally clotheslines Kaz. Chavo dropkicks Daniels and hits three German suplexes. Daniels cuts him off with Angel’s Wings. Gunner takes out Daniels. Roode with a neckbreaker on Gunner. Storm with a backstabber on Roode. More chaos. Hernandez with a Border Toss on Kaz. Chavo hits a frogsplash. Daniels gets caught using a title belt and is disqualified. Bad Influence have been eliminated. As soon as they’re sent out, Chavo gets pinned and the tag champions have been eliminated. Roode and Gunner go at it now.

Aries comes in and trades shots with Gunner. Gunner with a big back breaker. Storm tags in but Roode pulls him from the apron before he can come in. Roode comes back in but Gunner nails a huge flying clothesline. Storm tags back in and sends Aries to the floor. Storm with a backdrop on Roode. Storm with a big shot to the jaw and a reverse neckbreaker. Storm with a DDT on Aries. Gunner comes back in and they double team Aries but he blocks it. Gunner catapults Aries into a DDT from Storm for a 2 count. Roode breaks the pin and tosses Storm to the floor. Roode and Gunner go at it. Gunner applies the Gun Rack but Aries breaks it. Aries with a knee breaker suplex combo on Gunner. More double teaming on Gunner. Aries nails a 450 on Gunner but he barely kicks out at 2. Aries tries to use the title belt but Storm stops him. Storm hits Last Call on Aries. Gunner applies the Gun Rack for the win and the titles.

Winners and New TNA Tag Team Champions: Gunner and James Storm

– JB is backstage with Knockouts President Brooke Hogan. She talks about how proud she is of the division. JB asks if she still loves Bully Ray and she walks off.

Last Knockouts Standing Match: Gail Kim vs. Taryn Terrell

We go to the ring and out first comes ODB as the special referee. Gail Kim is out first followed by her opponent Taryn Terrell.

They have words to start the match and trade shots into the corner. Gail keeps control but Taryn comes back with clotheslines. They go on and Gail applies a submission. ODB makes the count on Taryn but Gail goes back to work on her. More of the same until Gail brings a steel chair in the ring. Taryn kicks it into her and turns the match around.

Taryn hits a big crossbody but Gail puts the chair between them and they both go down. Gail wedges the chair in the corner and throws Taryn into it but she blocks it for the most part. Gail with a submission on Taryn’s leg around the ring post. ODB starts the count but Taryn makes it up at 8. Gail charges but Taryn dodges her and she hits the chair that was wedged in the corner. Gail hits the chair hard and lands outside of the ring. ODB starts the count but she gets up. Taryn applies a submission around the ring post of her own now. ODB counts but Gail makes it up. Taryn charges but Gail moves and Taryn lands hard out on the ramp.

ODB counts but Taryn makes it up at 9. Taryn charges again but Gail sweeps her leg out and Taryn lands on the ramp again. She makes it up again. Gail goes for a piledriver on the ramp but Taryn blocks it. Taryn looks to bulldog Gail off the ramp and onto the concrete at ringside. The crowd chants “holy shit” and “this is awesome” as ODB counts. Taryn makes it up before the 10 count.

Winner: Taryn Terrell

– We get a promo for Styles vs. Angle.

Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles

We go to the ring and out first comes 2013 TNA Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. AJ Styles is out next.

Angle gets his hands on AJ first but AJ goes to the floor. AJ works Angle over and hits a dropkick, sending Angle into the fan barrier. They come back in the ring and AJ beats Angle down in the corner. Angle fights back and beats AJ into the opposite corner after a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. AJ comes back with a big kick to the knee. AJ springboards in and takes out Angle’s knee again with a dropkick.

AJ keeps working on Angle’s leg now. Angle fights back with right hands. AJ takes the ankle back down and goes for the Calf Killer. Angle gets to the ropes and breaks the hold. More back and forth action. Angle manages to hit the big overhead throw after AJ’s worked on his leg. AJ with pin attempts now. Angle connects with a huge belly to belly into the corner. Angle with a 2 count.

AJ springboards in but Angle kicks him. Angle hits an Angle Slam for a 2 count. More back and forth. Angle applies the ankle lock. Styles tries to break it but Angle pulls him back and tightens the hold. AJ breaks free and rolls through. AJ with kicks to Angle. Angle charges and misses, getting hung upside down in the corner. AJ with a big dropkick while Angle hangs. AJ with a backbreaker. AJ springboards in but Angle moves and AJ misses the 450. Angle with a roll up. Angle goes for an Angle Slam but it’s blocked. Angle counters a pin and gets one of his own for the win.

Winner: Kurt Angle

– Bully Ray is backstage cutting a promo on Sting. Ray says there’s one move that wrestlers stay away from – the piledriver. Ray promises he will beat Sting with a piledriver tonight. We get a promo video for tonight’s main event.

No Holds Barred Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Title: Sting vs. Bully Ray

Sting will no longer be able to challenge for the World Title if he loses this match. We go to the ring and out first comes Sting. Out next comes the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray.

Sting starts it off with a Stinger splash and sends Ray to the floor. Sting beats Ray around the ring with the belt and into the steps. They come back in and Sting hits right hands. Sting keeps control and uses the belt again. Sting sends Ray back to the floor and works him over. Ray turns it around with a huge clothesline. Ray beats Sting around the ring now. The crowd chants for tables. Sting fights back with a chair and beats Ray around with it. They end up on the ramp and Sting unloads with more chair shots.

Brooke Hogan appears on the ramp and Sting wants her to go to the back. He ushers her to the back and heads back to Ray. Ray hits a low blow and Sting goes down. Ray hits Sting with chair shots now. Ray beats Sting back into the ring. Ray tosses the chair and boots it into Sting’s face. Ray nails a piledriver for a close 2 count. Ray brings a table in the ring and sets it up. Sting fights back with a clothesline and right hands in the corner. Ray with a rake to the eyes and a big powerbomb through the table. Ray covers but Sting kicks out at 2. Ray goes and starts taking the ring apart. He removes the apron cover and foam to expose the bare wood. Sting misses a Stinger splash. Ray nails a piledriver on the exposed wood but Sting barely kicks out in time. Sting counters another piledriver and backdrops Ray. Sting goes for a piledriver but Ray counters. Ray misses a splash off the second rope as Sting moves. Sting with a Death Drop on the wood. Sting covers but all of Aces & 8s run down to break it up. They beat Sting down. Sting fights back with low blows but they get the best of him. Sting eventually fights back and comes off the top rope. Ray hits him with a hammer that Mr. Anderson gave him, in mid-air to get the pin.

Winner: Bully Ray

– Aces & 8s stand over Sting to celebrate Bully’s win as Slammiversary goes off the air.
