ON STAGE
Vince McMahon: WWE Chairman Vince McMahon showed up for the first time in quite some time to address the actions of General Manager/King of the Ring William Regal last week (Regal pulled the plug on a WWE championship match, robbing the fans of a conclusion). Vince claimed the fans phoned and emailed WWE headquarters to complain, demanding that he (Vince) appear on RAW to respond to Mr. Regal’s actions. Vince said he found Regal’s actions reprehensible, but at the same time he finds Regal’s actions innovative, daring, and visionary. Vince said that William Regal reminds him a lot of himself. Vince told the fans to show William Regal the same respect that they would show him.

IN THE RING
General Manager/King of the Ring William Regal: William Regal repeated his statement from last week, “you might not like me, but you will respect me!” – Regal warned the fans that he would pull the plug again, and the fans booed, so Regal ordered the lights to be turned off for several minutes. King Regal said he would not tolorate being disrespected………. then, suddenly, Mr. Kennedy showed up. Mr. Kennedy said if Regal wanted respect, all he has to do is take him up on his offer to go one on one with him tonight. King Regal said some people don’t know their place in life, and pointed out that he was Kennedy’s superior. Kennedy dared Regal to “prove it.” Regal brushed it off and booked Kennedy in the main event against Kane, Morrison & Miz, C.M. Punk, Chavo Guerrero, Bam Neely and the entire ECW roster. Regal said he would no longer be disrespected…. then, suddenly, Triple H showed up! Triple H apologized to King Regal for the interruption and congratulated him on his new position of power. Triple H said if Regal wants to keep his power, he can’t make certain mistakes. Triple H said Regal stopped his match last week, and disrespected HIM, and THAT was a mistake. Triple H said if Regal wants to maintain his power, he does not want to go to war with HIM. Regal was unphased by the warning and added Triple H to the main event, teaming with Mr. Kennedy against the entire ECW roster.

LUMBERJACK DIVAS MATCH
WWE Women’s champion Mickie James defeated Beth Phoenix: It didn’t take long before the Diva Lumberjacks all started fighting at ringside after the heels roughed up Mickie James. A few minutes later, the babyface Divas ganged up on Beth Phoenix, which caused some additional chaos. During the scuffle, Melina Perez jumped in the ring and accidentally whacked Phoenix with her boot! Mickie James capitalized and scored the pinfall to retain the WWE Women’s title!

BACKSTAGE
William Regal & Chris Jericho: G.M. Regal asked Chris Jericho how sure he was that Shawn Michaels was faking his knee injury – and Jericho said he was 100% sure. Regal said Jericho would team with Shawn Michaels tonight against Miz and Morrison, so if Shawn Michaels is faking, then he (Jericho) has nothing to worry about.

BACKSTAGE
Trevor Murdoch + Trish Stratus + Ron Simmons: Cameras caught Trevor Murdoch singing some good ol’ country music when former six-time WWE Women’s champion Trish Stratus showed up. Trish was uncharacteristically speechless, but Ron Simmons showed up and said what Trish must have been thinking – DAMN!

INTERVIEW
Todd Grisham & Randy Orton: Randy Orton said in two weeks at Judgment Day that the Age of Orton resumes. Orton’s return match with WWE champion Triple H will take place inside a steel cage!

HANDICAP MATCH
Paul Burchill & Katie Lea defeated Jon Cutler (from Toronto): Before the match, General Manager William Regal came out and cut Jim Ross’ microphone and introduced a replacement – Mike Adamle! What the hell? Adamle’s first line was “We don’t know much about Jon Cutler, except that his last name rhymes with Butler.” Mike Adamle exited right after the match, and Jim Ross, who was sitting on the sidelines, returned to his post.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Shawn Michaels & Chris Jericho:

NON (WWE TAG TEAM) TITLE MATCH
Shawn Michaels & Chris Jericho defeated John Morrison & Mike “The Miz” Mizanin: Shawn Michaels, limping from a knee injury, was never in the match legally, but knocked out John Morrison so that Jericho could score the pin. Michaels got up and limped backstage, while Jericho watched from the ring, perhaps changing his mind about Michaels being hurt legit.

MATCH
Randy Orton vs. C.M. Punk (Mr. Money In the Bank): Midway through the match, when it was just starting to heat up, General Manager William Regal came out, turned off the lights and declared the match officially over – robbing the fans of a proper finish!

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Todd Grisham & Randy Orton: Randy Orton was pissed off that William Regal pulled the plug on his match two weeks in a row. Orton said that he went on record earlier saying he was cool with last week, but he was going to find William Regal and get some answers!

IN THE RING (CARLITO’S CABANA)
Carlito Cool & “Rowdy” Roddy Piper + Santino Marella: Carlito he knows better than anybody how annoying Santino Marella can be, but last week Roddy Piper took it too far. Roddy fired back saying he beat Mr. T, Hulk Hogan, and cancer…. and said he wasn’t going to put up with Santino insulting him. Carlito said Santino was his partner and he’s a future tag team champion. Santino showed up and said it took Roddy Piper eight years to win the Intercontinental title, whereas he (Santino) did it on his first night with the company. Roddy told Santino that he needs a designated driver – refering to the DUI charge that Santino got this past week iin Florida. Santino and Carlito cornered Piper, but Cody Rhodes interrupted, along with Cryme Tyme.

SQUASH MATCH
John Bradshaw Layfield defeated “The Canadian Bulldog” D.H. Smith: Before the match, JBL cut a promo on John Cena from the back seat of his stretch limo to hype their match at Judgment Day. One he got to the ring, JBL said some surprisingly dispicable things about the Hart family. JBL then proceeded to squash poor Harry Smith, oops I mean D.H. Smith, in a fairly quick match. JBL viciously assaulted Smith in a post match statement to John Cena.

BACKSTAGE
William Regal & The ECW Roster: General Manager/King of the Ring William Regal gave a speech to the ECW roster and said anything less than a victory will be considered a failure.

MAIN EVENT
The ECW Roster defeated Triple H & Mr. Kennedy: The ECW contingent consisted of C.M. Punk, Tommy Dreamer, Nunzio, John Morrison, Mike Mizanin, Mike Knox, Elijah Burke, Kofi Kingston, Chavo Guerrero, Bam Neely, Kane, Matt Striker, Shelton Benjamin and Stevie Richards. Chavo Guerrero pinned Mr. Kennedy with help from Bam Neely. After the match, the ECW guys attacked Mr. Kennedy until Triple H started whacking all of them with a steel chair! Suddenly the lights went out, and a few moments later the lights came back on and Randy Orton was there to RKO Triple H!

BONUS DARK MATCH: Chris Jericho defeated Randy Orton..
