Legacy (Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr.) + “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair: WWE champion Randy Orton talked about defending his title against Batista in a Steel Cage match at Extreme Rules. Orton said everybody thinks he should be worried, but the people don’t know what they’re talking about! Orton said he was the one who kicked Batista in the skull and made sure he didn’t make it to WrestleMania. Orton said there were no rules, which meant he could do whatever he wanted to do. Orton said he spoke to Vickie Guerrero and now Batista has a steel cage match tonight. Orton flipped a coin; heads he faces Cody Rhodes, tails he faces Ted DiBiase. It landed on heads and Orton told Rhodes “you know what to do.” Rhodes said his father (Dusty) was in some of the greatest cage matches of all time, so cage matches are in his blood. Orton opened the door and jumped out of the cage, demonstrating how he will walk out of the cage at Extreme Rules STILL the WWE champion. Ric Flair came out to the stage and said he was going to call out Randy Orton until he agrees to fight him (to the finish) in the parking lot. Orton listened to the crowd chant “punk! punk!” and accepted Flair’s challenge! Orton said it will be a night Flair will never forget because it will be one he won’t be able to remember. Vickie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero + The Big Show: The Big Show complained about having to team with the Miz tonight against John Cena and a partner. Big Show pulled a name out of a hat to randomly choose Cena’s partner. The name that came out of the hat was CHAVO GUERRERO. Big Show told Chavo to stay out of his way so he can hurt John Cena tonight!

Unified Tag Team champions the Colon Brothers defeated William Regal & Matt Hardy: Matt Hardy tried to use his cast as a weapon but he accidentally whacked William Regal with it! Carlito hit Regal with the Lung-blower and the Colons won the match!! Regal was pissed at Hardy after the match….

Ric Flair + Batista: Ric Flair was shown waiting for Randy Orton in the parking lot when Batista approached him. Flair told Batista not to try to talk him out of it, because he has a lot to prove. Flair said every day he goes to bed and wakes up wanting to be Ric Flair again! Flair said a lot of people have forgotten what he used to be.. Flair asked Batista to let him be Ric Flair tonight and promised to make Batista proud.. Flair said he needs Batista to believe in the Nature Boy. Batista said he loves Flair and will always believe in him..

Vickie Guerrero & William Regal & Matt Hardy: Matt Hardy said William Regal screwed up their chance tonight. Vickie Guerrero said she doesn’t owe them forever. Hardy & Regal said it’s okay they have a plan. They suggested Vickie face Santino Marella tonight and whispered the plan into her ear. She said “I like it!” and started snorting like a pig!
TAG TEAM MATCH
John Cena & Chavo Guerrero defeated The Big Show & Mike Mizanin: Mike Mizanin came out and bragged about being 6-0 against the corporate sell-out John Cena. The Miz said Cena was in the same category as Hanna Montana, while the Miz is in a category all by himself. The Miz continued cutting an arrogant heel promo calling the fans losers.. ….. …. the finish of the match saw the Big Show get pissed at the Miz and knock him out! Chavo Guerrero jumped into the ring and pinned the Miz to win the match! John Cena jumped in and gave Chavo an Attitude Adjustment! The Big Show went after Cena and knocked him out with a mid-air knockout punch.. Big Show put an already unconcious Cena in the Cobra Clutch back-breaker..

EMBARASSING MATCH
Vickie Guerrero vs. Santino Marella ended in a No Contest: Vickie Guerrero walked to the ring with two buckets of SLOP. After claiming there had never been a Hog-pen match in the WWE last week, they changed their mind and admitted that there was at least one other Hogpen match in WWE history – but did not mention that Triple H was the unwilling victim of the match. Santino picked up one of the buckets and threatened to slop Vickie. Matt Hardy & William Regal ran down and Santino spun around, flinging slop all over Hardy & Regal ( as well as the entire front row ). Santino started to fight his attackers, but he was overtaken, and Hardy knocked Santino out with a shot from his cast! The attackers left the ring and Vickie walked over and poured the second bucket of slop all over Santino, starting with his crotch and face!

PARKING LOT BRAWL
Randy Orton vs. Ric Flair: Randy Orton cautiously entered the parking lot area looking for Ric Flair. Flair snuck up behind Orton and shoved him into a metal garage door. Flair put the boots to Orton and chopped his chest! Flair kept up the fight, but Orton eventually turned the tables. Flair put Orton on a box with wheels and pushed him into a wall! They fought towards the ring out in front of the audience walking right past a stretcher. They ended up on the stage with Orton stomping Flair on multiple body parts. Orton punched Flair’s head until he was bleeding. Orton tried to push Flair off the stage, but Flair stopped him and kicked him between the legs! Flair began stomping Orton! They brawled down to ringside, where the steel cage had once again been lowered around the ring.. Flair laid out Orton on the announce table.. Flair then climbed up onto the desk and put Orton in the infamous Figure-4 Leglock!! Suddenly Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase hit the scene and attacked Ric Flair! They rammed him into the cage from the floor and then dragged him into the cage for a beating. Orton soon joined them making it a 3-on-1 assault, but then Orton sent Rhodes & DiBiase away.. They closed the door on their way out and locked the chain.. Finally Batista spinted down and chased Rhodes & DiBiase off before realizing the door was locked. Instead of climbing over the cage, Batista tried to break the door of or break through the cage. Orton just watched from inside with a sadistic look on his face. Batista finally started to scale the side of the cage, but could only watch as Orton finished off Flair with a vicious RKO inside the cage ! Batista told Orton “I’m gonna break you in half!” Batista became enraged when Orton set up for the punt kick to Flair’s head. Orton just stared at a helpless Batista and then delivered a davastating kick to Flair’s head!!
