John Cena + The Nexus (Wade Barrett & Justin Gabriel & Michael McGillicutty & Husky Harris & Heath Slater & David Otunga) + WWE champion Randy Orton: John was standing on a Nexus podium reading from a big scroll. John said it was his honor to introduce the man who has promised the winds of change. John said he is the leader of the most dominant force in the WWE known as The Nexus. John said in 2 weeks he will be your WWE champion. John said to welcome his hero making his triumphant return home to Manchester, Wade Barrett. Wade and The Nexus came down. Wade thanked John for the introduction. Wade said to celebrate his upcoming championship win they will have a preview of the celebration. Wade said there would be a big party and they were all invited. Wade said before they get ahead of themselves there are a couple of issues he needs to look into. They showed what happened on SmackDown last week. Wade told David that the next time he decides to take Nexus to SmackDown without his permission to make sure he’s successful in his venture. Wade said he needs to deal with John Cena. Wade said last week Cena had the opportunity to showcase to the world what he was going to do at Survivor Series but instead didn’t see the tag David made to Barrett and R-Truth win. Wade told Cena to explain himself. Cena said it started on an episode of SmackDown where he rapped by accident and before he knew it he was wearing a backwards hat with a chain around his neck. Wade said he was talking about the match. Cena said they lost. Wade told Cena not to test him because he’s not going to let anyone else ruin what’s coming tonight. Wade said in 2 weeks time he’s either free of Nexus or fired, he either raises his hand or his career is flushed down the toilet. Wade said it’s up to Cena. Cena said he was glad Wade is home and his people embrace him. Cena said when the match as SS is over; he’s giving him the beating of a lifetime. Wade told Cena he has his destiny in his hands and at the end of it all he will do exactly what told to do. Wade told Cena to tell the world that he is the new WWE champion. Cena was about to when Randy came out. Randy said he was still champion. Randy said Cena isn’t fighting him for the title and there’s no doubt in his mind that he can beat Wade no matter who the referee is. Randy said he doesn’t care if Cena is fired; he just cares about making sure Wade never gets the WWE title. Wade said last time he checked he has an army but Orton has no one. Michael received an email saying Wade’s celebration has been cancelled and to ensure that there is a decisive victor the title must be won by pin fall or submission only and Nexus is banned from ringside. Michael said tonight Randy will have an army behind him as well in a 10 man tag against Wade and 4 members of Nexus. Michael said the GM would pick Orton’s partners and the guest referee would be Cena.
DIVAS CUP (SIX DIVA TAG TEAM MATCH)
Eve Torres & Nikki Bella & Brie Bella defeated Maryse Ouellet & Alicia Fox & Tamina: It was just a 6 diva tag with them dressed as soccer players. The Bella’s won after one of them switched with the other and rolled up Alicia in a small package.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
The Nexus (Wade Barrett & Justin Gabriel & Michael McGillicutty & Husky Harris & Heath Slater & David Otunga): David was complaining about what happened with Cena when Wade walked in. Wade said David won’t be in the tag tonight but he needs to step it up in a match with Cena. Wade said he wanted to see if David really was the most talented member of Nexus.
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Uso Brothers (Jimmy & Jey Uso) defeated The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd & David Hart Smith w/Natalya Neidhart): The Uso’s won after David and Tyson were both laid out with kicks to the head and David was hit with a splash for 3.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Matt Striker & WWE champion Randy Orton + Mike “The Miz” Mizanin: Matt asked Randy who the GM might choose to be his partners. Randy said he didn’t know but he did care because he needs to worry about 5 members of Nexus and 1 John Cena. Miz came over to Randy and said he is one of the partners. Miz said Randy’s team is now awesome.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
The Nexus (Justin Gabriel & Michael McGillicutty & Husky Harris & Heath Slater & David Otunga): Heath and Justin were playing with their titles while Husky and Michael talked. David came in and asked what was up and everyone went silent. David said he was talking about Cena when he said he was the most talented member of Nexus. David said tonight he would beat Cena and hope they have his back. Justin asked David if Wade knew about this. David said they started together and they are Nexus, it’s all good.
SINGLES MATCH
Goldust defeated Ted DiBiase Jr. w/Maryse Ouellet : Maryse grabbed the million dollar title partway through the match. Aksana came running down to the ring, grabbed the title from Maryse, and ran away with it. Ted became distracted and Goldust rolled him up for 3.
SINGLES MATCH
John Cena defeated David Otunga: David came down to the ring with Nexus but Wade told them to go to the back. David tried to run away but Cena chased him down. Cena defeated David with the STF.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
David Otunga & Wade Barrett: David was icing his neck. Wade said last week David was pinned in the tag team match so he decided to march The Nexus to SmackDown and was pinned again. Wade said David just embarrassed him. Wade said he was giving David a chance to redeem himself. Wade said David needed to take Nexus to SmackDown and defeat Edge or else he’s done.
IN THE RING (TEA TIME WITH SANTINO)
Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov + Sheamus: Santino & Kozlov were dressed like fine English gentlemen and had umbrellas. Santino said him and Vladimir like to blend in wherever they go. Santino said he and Vladimir watched a lot of British TV and movies to learn everything about the culture but he keeps almost getting hit by cars. Santino said the reason he’s having this is to bury the hatchet with Sheamus. Santino said they have green tea and ginger tea. Santino said they also have an autographed picture of Mr.T. Sheamus said Santino seems misunderstood and knew a fella just like him and just like him he only had one friend, a donkey. Santino said lucky. Sheamus said everyone in town called him the village idiot. Santino said a donkey can’t be a village idiot. Santino asked Sheamus if he took his tea dark or milky. Santino said he’s not referring to the fact that Sheamus has no pigmentation and to not make Sheamus anger because he doesn’t like him when he’s anger. Santino said Sheamus might have been over exposed to gamma rays or when he was growing up he was excluded from the other kids because he’s a ginger. Santino said he’s not going to exclude Sheamus from activities and fun. Santino said ghosts aren’t that white. Sheamus said he’s forgotten why he hates Santino in the first place. Santino said he can’t remember either. Vladimir said Sheamus hates him because he beat him, it was the biggest upset in double double E history ever. Santino’s hand started shaking and he accidentally spilled tea on Sheamus. Sheamus threw the table over and Michael received an email saying Santino was going to face Sheamus.
SINGLES MATCH
Sheamus defeated Santino Marella w/Vladimir Kozlov by DQ: Santino tried running away but Michael got an email saying Santino could either get back in the ring and compete or be suspended. Sheamus completely destroyed Santino until he low blowed him and began celebrating even though he was disqualified. Santino turned around and was hit with the brogue kick. John Morrison came running down to the ring and saved Santino.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
John Cena + Wade Barrett: John Cena was watching a preview for Wrestlemania XXVII when Wade walked in and told Cena to imagine never experiencing WM again. Wade said all Cena has to do is raise his hand.
10 MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
The Nexus (Wade Barrett & Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater & Michael McGillicutty & Husky Harris) defeated Randy Orton & R-Truth & Mark Henry & Daniel Bryan & Mike “The Miz” Mizanin w/Alex Riley: John Cena counted the 3 for Wade after becoming distracted by David Otunga, giving Alex Riley the opportunity to hit Randy in the stomach with the briefcase and Miz the opportunity to hit the skull crushing finale.
