Kane & World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan w/AJ defeated “The Apex Predator” Randy Orton & “The Great White” Sheamus: Late in the match, Sheamus was in control of Bryan when AJ jumped in and put herself in the middle. While the referee got AJ out of the ring, Kane hit Sheamus with a choke-slam, allowing Daniel Bryan to score the pinfall! Bryan celebrated triumphantly of course.
HYPE: John Cena vs. The Rock.
ON STAGE / IN RING SEGMENT
General Manager John Laurinaitis + Vickie Guerrero + David Otunga + Booker T + Theodore Long + Santino Marella & Hornswoggle: John Laurinaitis introduced his flat-bearer, Vickie Guerrero. JL then introduced the captain of his team, David Otunga. They went to the ring. Booker T got up and introduced SmackDown! General Manager Teddy Long. Long then introduced his team captain, Santino Marella… who came out with flag-bearer Hornswoggle.
CAPTAINS MATCH
Santino Marella (w/Teddy Long & Hornswoggle) defeated David Otunga (w/John Laurinaitis & Vickie Guerrero): After some silliness, Santino won the match. Afterwards, the GM’s argued and Santino set up for a Cobra on JL, but The Miz showed up and prevented it. JL made The Miz the final member of Team Johnny!
HYPE: John Cena vs. The Rock (The Challenge).

Kelly Kelly defeated Eve Torres & Beth Phoenix:

NON (WWE CHAMPIONSHIP) TITLE MATCH
WWE champion C.M. Punk vs. Christian ended in a No Contest: Before the match, Chris Jericho came up on the big screen and said he did some more research on Punk. Jericho said he found out some facts about Punk`s mother, she is a kind decent woman with no vices. Jericho said he found out Punk`s wedding date was after Punk`s birth date, so that makes him the legal definition of a bastard! Christian attacked Punk from behind to start the match. Punk made a come back and gave Christian a GTS on the ring steps then applied the Anaconda Vice on the ringside floor screaming THIS IS YOU JERICHO! The referees pulled Punk off. Punk went nuts and re-applied the hold! Christian had to be assisted out of the building, and may be re-injured.
SQUASH MATCH
Funkasaurus Brodus Clay defeated Heath Slater: Waste of precious air time.
HYPE: John Cena vs. The Rock (War of Words).

The Big Show defeated Primo (w/Rosa & Epico): After the match, Rosa (sexy) yelled at Big Show and Epico got choke-slammed! Cody Rhodes came out to the stage to taunt Big Show over his poor track record at WrestleMania.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
The Bella Twins + Zack Ryder + Eve Torres: The Bellas were argueing over who would win the Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny match at WrestleMania. Zack Ryder came in and did his thing and the twins walked away. Eve Torres came in and forgave Zack and asked where he was staying WrestleMania weekend. Eve said she was hoping he would stay at her hotel with her, because after Wrestlemania it will be time to celebrate.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
John Mathews & WWE champion C.M. Punk: Punk said Jericho can say whatever he wants about him, but his family is off limits. Punk said his whole family is in a better place right now. Punk said he is not a bastard, he is the best wrestler in the world!
TEAM TEDDY VS TEAM JOHNNY MATCH
Mark Henry (w/John Laurinaitis) defeated The Great Khali (w/Teddy Long): The match ended in seconds with a World`s Strongest Slam. After the match, JL pushed Long into the ring with Mark Henry. JL waved his whole team down to block the isle. Team Teddy came down and tried to get passed, but could not save Long. When all was lost, finally Booker T jumped up and saved Long! Booker T is the final member of Team Teddy!
HYPE: John Cena vs. The Rock (Actions Speak Louder).
IN THE RING
The Rock + John Cena: The Rock talked about wrestling at WrestleMania 20 (2004) and ever since people asked him when he was coming back. Rock said he didn`t know when until last year at WrestleMania 27 in Georgia when he delivered the Rock-bottom heard around the world on John Cena. Rock said the next night a match was set for WrestleMania 28. Rock said finally the Rock returns to doing what he does better than anybody. Rock said Cena has never faced anybody like him. John Cena interrupted and said Rock will never see anything like him. Cena said for a year he has listened the best trash talk from the best trash talker. Cena said yet he is still happy to be there with a smile on his face. Cena said Rock may be the best, but he`s not the first. Cena said in the last 10 years, whenever anybody wanted to make a name for themselves, they faced off with him. Cena said he always rises above and wins. Cena said a lot of people know that, and they hate that he will win at WrestleMania. Cena said he has been an active member of the WWE Universe longer than Rock. Cena said Rock was here during the Attitude Era, but he (Cena) was there when it wasn`t necessarily cool to be a WWE Superstar. Cena said he`s the guy who beats the drum and says this is where I belong and this is what I love. Cena said so many people say that it`s become a cliche. Cena said after all these years, regardless of if they like his character, they know it`s the truth. Rock said this summer Rock stars in G.I. Joe as ROADBLOCK, but after WrestleMania the WWE is still his life. Cena said for the past year they have said a lot to each other, but he will be damned if Rock comes in as a visitor and take his life from him. Cena said nobody remembers second place that`s why he has to win this match more than anything in his entire life. Rock said the match was just as important to him. Rock said the people know he is not a visitor. Rock said he helped build this house. Rock said Cena has never before had an opponent he couldn`t overcome until the Rock. Rock said it was more than the biggest match of all time, they know the people`s champion has come back to beat John Cena. Rock said never before has a man been able to say he walked into WrestleMania and beat Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and John Cena. Rock said he needs to beat Cena to become the greatest of all time. Rock said on a personal level, he just doesn`t like Cena. Rock said in six days not only will he beat Cena, but he will give him the ass kicking of a lifetime! Rock said Cena knows it, and the people know it too!! Cena said IT DOESN`T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK! Cena said he has made a living out of being the man YOU CAN`T SEE, but on April 1st the headline will be John Cena whips the Rock`s ass at WrestleMania!
