Rey Mysterio + Alberto Del Rio: Rey said he wanted to thank the WWE Universe for helping him get through one of the most grueling matches of his life. Rey said although things didn’t turn out the way he expected; at least he didn’t end up in the casket. Rey said Kane accused a lot of innocent people but in the end he was just looking for a way to mask his own guilt. Alberto Del Rio came out in a suit and said good evening to the fans. Alberto said tonight is his big debut. Alberto said it was an honor to meet Rey. Alberto said 2 national icons in the ring together. Alberto said he is a national hero and a millionaire. Alberto said his blood line comes from kings. Alberto said Rey’s blood is from the horrible streets of Tijuana. Alberto said Rey is just like a little worm in the bottle of his Tequila. Alberto said Rey was a joke of a man. Alberto said he is handsome, rich, and powerful. Alberto said he’s a man who wears the finest suits. Rey made fun of Alberto’s suit and said he had a lot of guts coming out here talking about his royal family. Rey called Alberto a nobody and said he’s seen his type a million times. Rey said Alberto thinks people have to respect him when you need to earn respect around here, and Alberto hasn’t gained anyone’s respect. Alberto called Rey a peasant and said if he doesn’t respect him he’ll make him. Rey said if he wants respect he can come and get it in a match tonight. Alberto said he will do it because he can’t wait to destroy him like a cockroach. Rey smacked Alberto into the ropes and hit the 619.
DCR GROOMING TIPS: “Dashing” Cody Rhodes taught us how to prevent our skin from getting wrinkly and gross. Cody said to use manly moisturizing lotion.
WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH
Kofi Kingston defeated WWE Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler w/Vickie Guerrero by DQ: Kofi rushed Dolph early on but Dolph wound up taking control by attacking the neck. Kofi almost had a come back but Vickie grabbed his leg, distracting him long enough for Dolph to knock him out of the ring. Back from commercial Dolph had another headlock in. Kofi finally made a comeback after several minutes of domination. Kofi went for the boom box but Dolph rolled onto the apron. Kofi hit a pendulum kick and went up top but Vickie pushed him off, causing a DQ. After the match Vickie distracted Kofi long enough for Dolph to get behind him and attack. Dolph rolled Kofi into the ring and hit the zigzag, following up with the sleeper hold. Dolph knocked out Kofi and stomped on his neck before leaving.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
WWE Women’s champion Lay-Cool (Michelle McCool & Layla) + Hornswoggle: Lay-Cool were talking about some plan they have involving Melina. Lay-Cool was being secretive about it and when they left Hornswoggle poked his head out of a plant and ran away.

Straight Edge Society (Luke Gallows & Serena & Joseph Mercury) + C.M. Punk: Luke and Mercury were complaining about what Punk did on Sunday but Serena said Punk was only teaching them a lesson. Serena said tonight her and Luke had a chance to prove they deserved Punk’s admiration. Mercury didn’t think Serena was ready but she said she’d been training for months. Punk came in and said none of them deserved anything. Punk said what Nexus did on RAW peaked his interest. Punk said if Luke and Serena don’t win their mixed tag match then they are out of the SES.
MIXED TAG TEAM MATCH
Straight Edge Society (Luke Gallows & Serena w/Joseph Mercury) defeated The Big Show & Kelly Kelly: Luke and Show started off but Luke got scared and tagged in Serena. Serena showed a lot of ability and blocked Kelly’s gymnast elbow with an elbow of her own. Kelly turned a cravat into a jawbreaker to take control. Kelly hit the X-Factor but Luke broke up the pin and started brawling with Show on the outside. Serena blocked the K2 into a gut buster for 3. After the match Punk came out and clapped.

World Heavyweight champion Kane: Kane said when the devil removed himself from Heaven he left behind seven deadly sins; his favorite is the sin of pride. Kane said it was Taker’s pride that weakened his powers. Kane said it was his pride that allowed him to put Taker into a coma, because of his pride he knew Taker would come back before he was ready. Kane asked if Taker remembered how his downward spiral began. Kane said for years he was nothing more than some vague memory in the back of Taker’s mind. Kane said when Taker saw him again for the first time the look in his eyes told the story; the story of a self obsessed brother who wanted to keep the spotlight on himself and the shadow on Kane forever. Kane said everything that he did in those early years Taker was able to overcome. Kane said instead of destroying the legend he made it greater. Kane said when Taker set him on fire it was his influence that took Taker to separate himself from the last vestiges of humanity. Kane said it was Taker’s most magnificent moment. Kane said that was when his master plan was set in motion. Kane said with every victory Taker’s collection of souls grew but so did his weakness. Kane said he watched and waited, it was clear that Taker was losing his grip. Kane said the day that Taker forced him to remove his mask was the day that he unleashed the monster capable of finally ending his reign of darkness. Kane said when they met for the second time at WM XX the time was not right but the plan continued to evolve. Kane said he knows Taker better than everyone. Kane said he positioned himself at Taker’s right hand so he could gain his confidence, and even then he watched and waited. Kane said their reunion was nothing more than a vehicle for his vengeance. Kane said he knew no matter how many times Taker was set crashing down; he would always get back up because his pride forced him. Kane said his pride would be his undoing. Kane said while Taker was being disgraced by those beneath him Kane was biding his time. Kane said he knew his moment had finally come when Taker showed Shawn an instant of mercy at WM 26. Kane said Taker could have destroyed Shawn but decided to become one with his weakness. Kane said he knew that his plan, over a decade old had finally come to fruition. Kane said he knew last Sunday when he felt Taker’s weak grip he knew it was over. Kane said all the years of plotting and planning and waiting and watching in the shadows were finally at an end. Kane said he had his vengeance. Kane said vengeance had eluded him for so long and now the shadows in which he once labored are cast upon Taker. Kane said what was once his holy grail is now his world championship. Kane said they used to be called the brothers of destruction, but now Taker is nothing more than the brother that he destroyed. Kane said for 15 years he dreamed of the day the phenom would be no more. Kane said he dedicated his life to making this moment reality; the moment when his brother would be cast down with great vengeance and furious anger. Kane said he would replace him as the devil’s favorite demon. Really cool music, sound effects and video packages played during this promo.
SINGLES MATCH
Christian defeated Drew McIntyre: “Dashing” Cody Rhodes went on commentary. Christian was in control until Drew left the ring and tripped Christian on the apron. Drew exposed the steel barricade and slammed Christian’s arm down on it. Drew slammed Christian’s arm into the steel ring post and put in a key lock. Drew destroyed Christian’s arm until he walked into a huge DDT. Christian focused his offense on Drew’s face but missed a flying elbow and walked into a divorce court. Drew fought out of the killswitch and ran Christian shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Christian managed to roll Drew up in a crucifix for 3. After the match Cody and Drew attacked Christian but Matt Hardy came to his aid. Drew and Cody attacked his injured ankle to subdue him. Drew hit the Futureshock on Matt while Cody hit the Cross Rhodes on Christian to finish them both off.

Jack Swagger & Rosa Mendes + Montel Vontavious Porter: Jack was whining about how much his summer has been sucking. Rosa Mendes wasn’t really paying attention because she had her headphones in. MVP came up behind Jack and told him to accept his loss. MVP said Jack probably is better than him at some things but lately all he’s been doing is whining. Jack said he can prove he’s better than MVP in an old school match next week. Jack said if he wins he’s hosting the VIP lounge. MVP said if he wins he’s throwing a huge block party and Jack is picking up the tab.

World Heavyweight champion Kane & SmackDown! General Manager Theodore Long: Teddy said that next week Undertaker would be on SmackDown! Kane said next week SmackDown! would be hell on Earth.
SINGLES MATCH
Alberto Del Rio defeated Rey Mysterio: Alberto had his own personal ring announcer named Ricardo Rodriguez. Alberto came down to the ring in a Rolls Royce. Alberto kicked Rey right into the knee to start things off. Alberto was in control a short while before Rey used his speed to send Alberto out of the ring. Back from commercial Rey was getting his arm slammed against the turnbuckle. Alberto attacked Rey’s arm and hit an enziguri to stop Rey from gaining momentum. Alberto missed a senton off the top rope and Rey began kneeing him in the head. Rey went for the 619 but Alberto grabbed his legs. Rey went up top but Alberto hit him in the leg, knocking him off the turnbuckle. Alberto put in a cross arm breaker and Rey submitted almost instantly.
