IN THE RING
Matt Striker & Ashley Valence + WWE Pros (Mark Henry & Mike “The Miz” Mizanin & John Morrison & “Dashing” Cody Rhodes & Zack Ryder & Montel Vontavious Porter & Kofi Kingston) + The Nexus (Wade Barrett & Heath Slater & Skip Sheffield & Michael Tarver & Justin Gabriel & David Otunga): Matt and Ashley introduced the WWE Pros to their seats on stage (except Lay-Cool), followed by The Nexus to their own set of seats on stage. Wade said it was a privilege to be there tonight. Wade said there wasn’t a better way to celebrate last nights win than to make a triumphant return to the show that gave them their start. Wade wished the rookies their best and told the pros to relax and enjoy the show.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Mark Henry & “Lucky” Cannon defeated WWE United States champion Mike “The Miz” Mizanin & Alex Riley: Mark was still mad about Miz beating him up with a 2 pound plastic empty garbage bin and wouldn’t stop eyeballing him. Alex and Mark started off. Mark easily overpowered Alex with his no talent and followed up with a clothesline. Mark kicked Alex in the chest and threw him out of the ring. Mark grabbed Alex’s arm and started yelling at Miz to tag him but wound up tagging Cannon in. Cannon attacked Alex’s left arm but Alex fought back with a shoulder block. Cannon clotheslined Alex out of the ring and tried to jump on him but smashed his face on the steel steps. Back from commercial Alex was covering Cannon for 2. Miz tagged in and took over on Cannon. Miz hit his running corner clothesline and kicked Cannon in the head. Alex tagged back in and punched Mark Henry in the face before tagging Miz back in. Miz tagged Alex back in almost immediately. Cannon managed to hit a powerslam on Alex and get the hot tag to Mark. Mark slammed into Miz and hit the gorilla press slam. Miz tagged Alex back in and Mark hit him with the WSS for 3. After the match, Mark took the big strong plastic bin and dumped some crumpled up paper products on Alex.
THE SHOWTIME! PERCY WATSON SHOW
“Showtime” Percy Watson + Montel Vontavious Porter + NXT Rookies (Kaval & “Lucky” Cannon & Husky Harris & Eli Cottonwood & Alex Riley & Michael McGillicutty) + WWE Pros (Mark Henry & Mike “The Miz” Mizanin & John Morrison & “Dashing” Cody Rhodes & Zack Ryder & Kofi Kingston) + Matt Striker: The show had its own cheesy opening video and there were 2 couches set up in the ring. Percy danced around trying to hype up the crowd (it didn’t work). Percy’s special guest was Montel Vontavious Porter. Percy asked to borrow 20 dollars but he was kidding. Percy thanked MVP for teaching him everything he knows. MVP said he could give him all the advice in the world but if he doesn’t listen, it’s completely useless. MVP said Percy does put it to work and got the crowd to give him a round of applause. MVP thanked Percy for letting him be the first guest on the Percy Watson Show and Percy said he’s going to seize the opportunity. All the rookies came down to the ring. MVP said he thought they connected but when he goes to a party he never goes solo. The WWE Pros came down to the ring. MVP said if he wants to make it a party, they should make it a party. Matt Striker came down and said they should see what the rookies have. Matt said to clear the ring for an over the top rope battle royal. Wade Barrett said the most important part is The Nexus. Wade said Darren is still gone but the rest of them would love to be involved because it gives them an opportunity to be in a match where it’s every man for himself. Wade said he would be the winner.
20 MAN OVER THE TOP ROPE BATTLE ROYAL
The Nexus (Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater & David Otunga & Wade Barrett & Michael Tarver & Skip Sheffield) won the battle royal : The match also included the Season 2 Rookies (Alex Riley & Kaval & Michael McGillicutty & Eli Cottonwood & Percy Watson & Husky Harris & Lucky Cannon) and the Season 2 Pros (Mark Henry & MVP & John Morrison & Kofi Kingston & Mike Mizanin & Cody Rhodes & Zack Ryder). The Nexus retreated from the ring immediately. Everyone ganged up on Mark Henry to eliminate him and The Nexus attacked him on the outside. Eli was eliminated next and Nexus attacked him too. MVP was eliminated next but Morrison and Kofi Kingston rolled out to help. Back from commercial Nexus poured into the ring and went on the attack. David Otunga eliminated Percy. Michael McGillicutty was eliminated next, followed by Husky Harris, and followed by Kaval. The WWE Pros and Nexus faced off. Miz eliminated Ryder. Miz tried to form an alliance with them but wound up eliminating himself and running away. Cody stood back while Morrison and Kofi fought with Nexus. Morrison skinned the cat but wound up being eliminated by 4 of the Nexus. Nexus beat down Kofi and threw him out. Nexus started down Cody for a long time before finally beating him down and throwing him out. Nexus won the battle royal. After the match Nexus beat up Kofi Kingston some more, hitting the urinage forward fireman’s toss 450 splash combo. Matt asked Wade what his reaction was to what the fans thought of him. Wade said he’s never had a problem with Matt before but it’s not a good idea for him to be in the ring. Wade said season 1 of NXT have come back today as The Nexus to prove they can make a difference in the WWE. Nexus said they are part of a much bigger picture. Matt asked Wade if he was proud of what they did to John Cena. Wade said he’s proud of everything he has ever done and he’s proud of the men who stand beside him because you’re either Nexus or against us.
