Show intro, we go to the opening match.

NXT North American Champion Adam Cole def. Danny Burch in a Non-Title Match by pinfall

Cole wins with the Last Shot Shining Wizard in a good competitive match. Burch showed some great fire on his comebacks, but this was mostly a showcase for Cole here. Burch did have a close nearfall off the old Tower of London draping Ace Crusher that NXT commentator Nigel McGuinnness used to do.

Cole’s all-around heel work should make him a star upon an eventual main roster call-up.

Backstage segment where NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler and Candice LeRae get into a brawl outside the building from earlier today and have to be held back by officials.

Backstage interview with Dakota Kai, interrupted by Lacey Evans, who rips on Kai, setting up a future match. Both make their case during the segment about being a potential challenger for Shayna Baszler.

Evans really has been impressive over the last couple of months in getting her 1950s-era heel persona over.

Kairi Sane def. Vanessa Borne by submission

Sane wins a short, but solid match with a new submission hold, almost a combination of a Muta Lock and a Sharpshooter called The Anchor.

Borne showed a lot of improvement during the contest while on control, while Sane has become more poised working the WWE style of match since coming in last year and is one of the best female sellers in the company.

Sane cuts a promo after saying she will soon claim her treasure and defeat Shayna Baszler, like she did once before, to win the NXT Women’s Championship.

The Shayna vs. the World storyline since TakeOver: Chicago II on television has come off real well in recent weeks. Sane’s English has also gotten much better, which will certainly help with promos going forward.

Next week, its a Fatal 4-Way #1 Contenders Match between Kairi Sane, Nikki Cross, Candice LeRae and Bianca BelAir where the winner will challenge NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV.

Backstage, NXT Champion Aleister Black arrives to the building and is interviewed until he is stopped by Johnny Gargano, who says Ciampa cannot be NXT Champion. Black says he will handle this and Gargano says he knows actually what he is doing. Black goes to head in, but is attacked by Ciampa and laid out with Ciampa’s Hanging DDT from a massage table. Ciampa waves bye to Aleister as he is attended to by officials and is taken to the hospital.

Real well done angle to set up the title match between Black and Ciampa in two weeks, while keeping alive the “Gargano descending into madness” storyline while keeping the thought alive that maybe, just maybe, Ciampa and Gargano were working in collusion against Black.

Main Event: The Undisputed ERA def. NXT Tag Team Champions Moustache Mountain via referee stoppage to win the titles

O’Reilly and Strong regain the titles after Tyler Bate threw in the towel for Trent Seven, who had his knee injured during the match and was tapped in a double kneebar by O’Reilly.
