A video kicks off the show hyping up the NXT Championship match between Adam Cole and Finn Balor. That match will kick off the show.
NXT Championship
Finn Balor vs. Adam Cole (c)
The bell rings, and they circle the ring before locking up. Balor takes Cole down and applies a front facelock. Cole tries to twist out, but Balor takes him down and applies a side headlock. Cole fights up and tries to whip him off, but Balor keeps the headlock cinched in. Cole rolls him over for a one count. Balor takes him down and goes for a stomp, but Cole moves. Balor quickly goes back to a front facelock. Dueling chants for both men. Cole stuns Balor with some forearms to the face. Cole wrenches the arm, but he has a whip reversed on him. Cole goes for a sunset flip, but Balor rolls through and hits a low dropkick for a two count. Balor quickly goes to an arm bar. Cole fights up, so Balor chops the chest a few times. Balor whips him to the opposite corner and chops him. Balor connects with a snapmare and a low dropkick to the head for a two count. Balor stomps away at Cole until the referee backs him up. Cole rolls out of the ring to recover. Balor wipes Cole out with a baseball slide. Balor then goes for a running kick from the apron, but Cole kicks him in the knees to counter.
Cole bounces Balor off the apron and puts him in the ring. Cole connects with a neckbreaker before mounting him and punching away at him. Cole catches him with a snap suplex for a one count. Cole stomps Balor in the corner before backing up. Cole hits a snapmare, knees him in the back, and applies a chin lock. Balor fights him off with a jawbreaker. Cole quickly attacks the knee to take him back down. Cole punches him down to the mat before hitting a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Cole knees him in the back a few times before applying a grapevine to the neck. Balor gets out and covers him for a two count. Cole quickly rebounds with a back elbow. Cole sizes him up in the corner and charges, but Balor boots him back. Balor hits a running clothesline followed by a diving forearm. Balor hits a falling elbow drop for a two count. Balor sends him to the corner and hits a running chop. Balor chops him again and applies a side headlock. Cole gets out with a backstabber for a two count.
Cole lifts Balor up, but Balor slides off. Cole quickly stuns him with an enzuigiri and hits the ropes, but Balor wipes him out with a Sling Blade. Balor charges, but Cole superkicks him down for a near fall. Cole goes for a suplex, but Balor knees him. Balor tries for a suplex, but Cole knees him. They strike away at each other before Cole hits a pair of pump kicks. Balor stuns him with a Pelé Kick, but Cole somehow falls onto Balor to pick up a two count. Both men take a moment to get up. Cole kicks him and goes for a Panama Sunrise. Balor gets out of it and goes for a 1916, but Cole counters out. Cole hits an ushigoroshi for a near fall. Cole gets Balor up, but Balor gets out, takes him down, and hits a double stomp to the chest. Balor connects with a Woo Dropkick into the corner. Balor goes to the top rope, but Cole big boots him to the floor.
Balor slowly gets up at ringside. Cole goes for a Panama Sunrise from the apron, but Balor counters into a back body drop on the floor. Balor hits a Woo Dropkick into the barricade, knocking over some fans. Balor gets him in the ring for a Coup de Grace, but Cole moves. Cole connects with a Last Shot for a near fall! The crowd is chanting, “This is awesome,” as the two men come to in the ring. Cole pulls down his knee pad and goes for another Last Shot, but Balor turns him inside out with a clothesline. Balor connects with a Woo Dropkick before connecting with the Coup de Grace! Balor sets up for a 1916, but Johnny Gargano walks out to the stage! Balor is in shock. Cole quickly low blows Balor and hits a Last Shot for the win!
Winner by Pinfall and still NXT Champion: Adam Cole
Johnny Gargano slowly walks to ringside and grabs a steel chair from one of the fans that were knocked over previously. Balor tries to beg him off, but Gargano viciously hits him with the chair a few times. Balor falls out of the ring, so Gargano follows him out and smashes him a few more times on the back with the chair. Balor quickly retreats. Gargano rubs the ramp, which is where Balor gave him the 1916 that cost him two months of his career, including NXT TakeOver.
Rhea Ripley is shown walking in the parking lot earlier today. They then show NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler walking into the arena.

Damian Priest will take on Killian Dain. Priest has recovered from the two cracked ribs he sustained at NXT TakeOver.
Damian Priest vs. Killian Dain
Dain quickly goes after the injured ribs and sends him to the corner. Priest fights back, but Dain knocks him to the apron. Priest kicks him back and goes for a suplex, but his ribs are too hurt. Dain quickly hits a running cross-body block for a two count. Dain elbows the ribs a few times before applying a grounded bear hug. Dain hits a splash before going back to the grounded bear hug. Priest fights up, but Dain goes back to a bear hug. Dain puts him in the corner and connects with an avalanche. Dain lays him out on the ropes before hitting a dropkick. Dain then baseball slides him off the apron! Priest clutches his ribs in pain.
Dain goes outside, rips the kinesio tape off the ribs, and punches them. Dain attacks the ribs, puts him in the ring, and picks up a near fall. Dain applies a grounded bear hug, but Priest fights up. Dain then hits a back suplex. Dain digs his boot into the ribs before applying a rear chin lock. Priest fights back and goes for a suplex, but his ribs are too hurt. Dain viciously hits a rib breaker before punching away at them more. Dain then hits a senton splash on the ribs! The crowd chants for Dain to shave his back. Dain hits a big splash on Priest for a near fall. Dain hits a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Dain rips at the face and applies a chin lock. Priest fights up and punches him, but Dain quickly responds with a dropkick. Priest rolls out of the ring to recover, and we go to our first commercial break of the night!
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Priest hit Dain with a flatliner. Dain angrily gets up, but Priest forearms him back before hitting a jumping back elbow. Priest kicks and forearms him before connecting with a clothesline. Priest hits a leaping elbow in the corner before trying for a suplex. Priest is too hurt to lift him. Priest gets fired up and manages to hit the suplex. A “Priest” chant picks up. Dain gets out of the ring, but Priest hits him with a springboard summersault senton. Priest gets him in the ring for South of Heaven for a near fall. Dain escapes a hold before kicking him in the ribs. They botch a powerbomb, and Dain drops an elbow for a two count.
Dain avalanches him in the corner, but Priest gets a victory roll. They’re off center so no pin. Priest goes for a powerbomb, but he can’t lift him. Dain hits a rolling fireman’s slam followed by a senton splash. Dain goes for a Vader Bomb, but Priest gets the knees up. Priest his the Reckoning for the win.

Cameron Grimes vs. KUSHIDA
Kushida wears Cameron Grimes’ hat to the ring. Kushida takes Grimes down and rolls around on him before hitting an arm drag. Grimes fights up, but Kushida whips him off. Grimes takes him down and hits the ropes, but Kushida takes him down for an arm bar attempt. Grimes fights it, so Kushida counters into a modified chickenwing. Grimes rolls out of the ring to recover, so Kushida hits him with a baseball slide. Kushida puts him in the ring and comes off the top rope with a chop to the head. Kushida then applies an abdominal stretch. Grimes counters out, but Kushida quickly stops his momentum with a dropkick. Kushida goes back to an abdominal stretch, but Grimes counters into a roll-up for a two count.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Grimes throw Kushida down. During the break, Grimes caught Kushida with a Collision Course. Grimes works on the back, catching him with a backbreaker. Kushida fights back, and he’s bleeding from the mouth. Kushida goes for a hoverboard lock, but Grimes counters into a swinging sidewalk slam for a near fall. Kushida hits a German Suplex, but Grimes counters a wheelbarrow into a nasty German Suplex for a near fall. Grimes goes for the Cave In, but Kushida holds the ropes. Kushida knocks Grimes off the apron with a handspring kick that sends him to the floor. Kushida then hits a summersault senton off the top rope to the floor! Kushida lands on his tailbone and is in a lot of pain!
Both men get in at the count of 8. Kushida attacks and puts him on the top rope. Kushida tries for a hoverboard lock, but Grimes pushes him off. Kushida hits a double heel kick to the face. Kushida then hits a ridiculous modified Code Red off the ropes for a near fall. They trade kicks before Kushida avoids the Cave In. Grimes pushes Kushida off and hits the Cave In for the win!

Grimes takes his hat back and puts it on to a big reaction.

Io Shirai vs. Santana Garrett
Shirai takes her down before Garrett hits an arm drag. Garrett tries to whip her, but Shirai holds on. Shirai boots her back and hits a flapjack. Shirai kicks her a few times before going for double knees, but Garrett moves. Garrett hits a Russian Leg Sweep for a two count. Garrett hits a kip up and a forearm. Garrett follows up with a handspring back elbow before hitting a suplex for a two count. Shirai soon takes her down and hits a moonsault for the win.

Pete Dunne vs. Travis Banks
This is a preview of Worlds Collide. Both men know each other from NXT UK. Banks soon takes Dunne down before kicking away at him. Dunne then viciously chops away at him and slaps him. Dunne gives him a suplex on the apron.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Dunne knock Banks to the corner. Banks quickly kicks him and hits a dropkick to the face twice. Dunne is down in the corner, so Banks hits a cannonball. Dunne quickly gets out of the ring to recover. Banks hits the ropes and hits a suicide dive. The barricade is almost knocked over onto real fans. Banks gets him in the ring and comes off the top rope with a dropkick. Banks hits a double stomp to the chest for a near fall. Dunne catches him coming off the ropes with a forearm and an X-Plex for a near fall.
Banks goes to the top rope, but Dunne cuts him off. Banks goes for a sunset flip powerbomb, but Dunne flips through and lands on his feet. Dunne kicks him and goes for the Bitter End, but Banks counters into a DDT! Banks goes for Slice of Heaven, but Dunne counters into a curb stomp! Dunne gets him up for a Bitter End, but Banks kicks him back and hits a Kiwi Crusher for a near fall! Banks gets him on the ropes, but Dunne counters into an avalanche X-Plex. Dunne kicks him in the head and hits a Bitter End of the win.

Dakota Kai is asked about Mia Yim driving her through two tables. Kai got eight staples in her head, but her hand was raised at the end of the match. Yim can frame it how she wants to stay relevant, but she beat her. She’ll do that to every woman in this division until she becomes NXT Women’s Champion.

-Commercial Break-
Roderick Strong will have an open challenge for the NXT North American Championship next week on Christmas. We’ll also see Keith Lee and Lio Rush take on Damian Priest and Tony Nese.
NXT Women’s Championship
Rhea Ripley vs. Shayna Baszler (c)
They lock up, and Ripley quickly wrenches the arm. Baszler twists out and takes her down to the mat. Baszler goes for the arm stomp, but Ripley blocks the kick. Ripley fakes going for a right hand, and Baszler drops down in fear. Baszler goes for a waistlock, but she pushes her instead. Ripley angrily big boots her before whipping her had into the corner. Baszler collapses and falls out of the ring.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Ripley lift Baszler in the electric chair and drop her face-first on the top turnbuckle. Ripley strikes her twice before hitting some knees. Baszler quickly sweeps the legs and punches away at her. Baszler avoids a big boot, but Ripley stuns her with a back elbow. Ripley then dropkicks her in the corner. Ripley puts Baszler on the top rope and climbs. Ripley then connects with a top rope superplex for a near fall.
Ripley lifts her up, but Baszler elbows her before taking her down. Ripley ducks a kick and hits a German Suplex. All of a sudden, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir run down. Ripley big boots Duke off the apron into Shafir. Baszler knocks Ripley out of the ring. Ripley quickly takes Baszler down and gets on the apron. Ripley then takes out Duke and Shafir with a cannonball off the apron. Baszler quickly knees Ripley in the face and gets on the apron to stomp Ripley’s arm into the ring steps! Ripley screams in pain as Baszler gets in the ring and smiles.
Baszler attacks the arm with kicks before twisting it when Ripley gets back in the ring. Baszler does some joint manipulation before twisting the arm and pulling her down on it.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Baszler viciously attacking the injured left arm of Ripley. During the break, doctors checked on Ripley and determined she could continue. Baszler continues to kick the limb and talk trash. The crowd is chanting for Ripley. Ripley finally blocks a kick and hits a forearm before trying for a Riptide, but Ripley’s arm is too hurt. Ripley dropkicks Baszler, but Baszler falls into the referee! Ripley hits a Riptide and covers, but the referee is out.
Baszler goes out of the ring. Ripley goes for a cannonball off the apron, but Baszler moves! Ripley crashes and burns on the floor! Baszler quickly applies the Kirifuda Clutch. Baszler lets go and puts a steel chair in the ring. Ripley gets in the ring and goes for the chair, but Baszler DDTs her on the chair. The referee wakes up as Baszler covers, but Ripley kicks out! A LOUD “Rhea” chant picks up. Baszler goes for a Kirifuda Clutch, but Ripley gets out. Ripley ties up the legs, but Baszler counters into a Kirifuda Clutch in the center of the ring! Ripley turns over and begins crawling. The crowd is chanting for Ripley. Ripley nearly gets to the ropes, but Baszler pulls her back and keeps the hold applied. Ripley turns over and starts to crawl again. Ripley tries to grab the rope, but Baszler holds the arm back. Baszler rolls her away from the ropes and keeps the hold applied. Ripley struggles mightily, but she begins to fade. The referee checks the arm, but Ripley grabs his shirt. Ripley fights up and rolls out before stomping Baszler’s face! Ripley applies the Prism! Baszler struggles, but twists out.
Baszler hits a step-up knee to the face before putting her on the top rope. Baszler slaps her in the face and climbs. Ripley quickly head-butts her and hits the Riptide off the second rope for the win!

Rhea Ripley celebrates big time in the ring before being presented the NXT Women’s Championship. The entire NXT roster comes out to celebrate with Ripley in the ring as the last live show of the year comes to an end.
