WWE sent out a release yesterday claiming a ratings victory over American Idol in the Male 18-34 demographic. It’s such a huge stretch.
To make it happen they basically combined the ratings of Raw, Smackdown, ECW and Superstars.
The Miami Herald at http://tinyurl.com/cv755n talked to Johnny Ace about the NFL draft which includes his nephew. Ace talked about him being a perfect fit for wrestling and noted he was bumping around a practise ring they had set up at the WWE hotel in Houston for Wrestlemania.
Michelle McCool, perhaps in response to the Trish Stratus article in the Times & Transcript, wrote in her WWE.com blog: “Yes there are a lot of girls (on the WWE roster). Sometimes, entirely too many for my liking.
Simply put, quarters can get a little cramped and I get tired of hearing about how they wanna do this and wanna do that. I have a great idea. How about learning how to work inside the ring and give me a little competition. How about that?” So McCool is Lou Thez now…

TNA NEWS
4/23 Impact TV results from Orlando, FL: Beer Money Inc. over Lethal
Consequences; Sojo Bolt over Taylor Wilde; A.J. Styles over Kevin Nash
to retain the Legends title; Jethro Holiday & Eric Young over Team No
Limit; and Jeff Jarrett vs. Scott Steiner.
The main event for Sacrifice on 5/24 is a match with Mick Foley
defending the TNA title in a four-way with each wrestler putting up
something important to them as, well, a sacrifice. The other three in
the match will likely be Jarrett, Angle and Sting. They also announced a
tag tournament, the brainchild of Team 3D, with the finals and
“$100,000” to the winner at the PPV. Sojo Bolt winning the Knockouts
title shot means she would likely face Angelina Love at the PPV although
Love is out with a concussion at this point.
TNA has a full house show schedule this weekend starting tonight at
Phantasy Theater in Lakewood, OH. They also run the Eastwood Expo Center
in Niles on Saturday, and the Franklin County Veterans Memorial in

TNA announced the 6/21 Slammiversary PPV at The Palace of Auburn Hills,
MI with the idea of breaking their attendance record (8,000 or so in
England earlier this year). That’s either really brave or insane
considering the arena would max nearly 23,000 for wrestling. Much of the
arena will likely be tarped off. I guess they are hoping fans from
Canada will cross the line, pun intended. Tickets go on sale on 5/8
through Ticketmaster.
They have also added house shows at the Mid-America Center in Council
Bluffs, IA on 6/13, and the FirsTier Event Center in Kearney, Nebraska
6/14.

the Maximum Fighting Championships. The fight will air live on HDNet. He
also said he will continue to work with TNA for the time being although
there is nothing inked as yet.

couple of weeks comprising of Brutus Magnus, Doug Williams and Rob Terry
(a huge bodybuilder from Wales).

aired on the Gospel Music Channel.
Taz on his Facebook at http://tinyurl.com/chvhcq is answering questions
from fans. He talks about an altercation he and Tommy Dreamer got into
at a hotel with the band Greenday in 1994.
Christy Hemme has released a digital EP on iTunes. “We are so excited to
release a sound that continues to evolve as we strengthen and grow as a
band,” Hemme said. “This is just the beginning. It is so fitting that
‘Don’t Give Up’ is the first song released, because it has been such a
winding road up to this point. As a band, this was the song that we
played and it kept us going, kept our heads up, and wouldn’t let us stop
believing in what we know we have to give from our hearts through our
music.” More info at her MySpace at www.myspace.com/hemmepowered
Daffney’s new entrance music is a take off of The Beautiful People by
