While Hulk Hogan denied recent talks with WWE on Twitter, we can confirm that there has been some communication between the two. Hogan was correct that he has not had direct talk with anyone at WWE but he has had representatives in touch with officials there.
There’s a feeling among people in the company and those close to Hogan that we will see a WWE return for The Hulkster some time before the summer is over. WWE is waiting for the Gawker lawsuit to be resolved as they do not want any association with it. Hogan feels he will win the lawsuit and is not settling, as the case goes to trial in March, but it looks like Hogan settling is the one thing stopping him from returning in time for WrestleMania 32.
