May 26, 2007–Full Impact Pro: The Briscoe Brothers defeated Tyler Black & Marek Brave to retain the FIP Tag Team titles..Something very scary happened at the FIP show in Melbourne, FL. Marek Brave was on one of the Briscoe Brothers’ shoulders and went backwards, landing with his face first and all his body weight coming down on top. Said to look ten times worse that the flip Lita missed on Stratus on RAW or when Sabu broke his neck. He rolled to the corner. About 20 seconds later, Jay went to stomp him but could see he was hurt. The referee threw up the X sign and backstage and security hit the ring and they just ended the match and he wasn’t moving at all. An ambulance was called. The following day, Marek Brave was able to move all his extremities and was taken to the hospital after paramedics checked on him. After several tests, he was diagnosed with a severe back sprain and should be fine in a few weeks. He was discharged and flew him home to Iowa so he wouldn’t be in pain for a long car ride back.
