Animal and Hawk were originally placed in a tag team together by Ole Anderson in Georgia to create The Road Warriors.
The Legion of Doom faction originally consisted of Hawk, Animal, Jake Roberts, The Spoiler, and manager Paul Ellering.
June 11, 1983: The Road Warriors won a Tournament to be crowned the NWA National Tag Team champions.
October 23, 1983 – The Last Battle of Atlanta: Jimmy Valiant and Pez Whatley vs The Road Warriors (Double disqualification).
