Shane McMahon: Shane McMahon arrived in his very nice car and was greeted by Dolph Ziggler “Hi, I’m Dolph……”, but Shane cut him off and gave him his jacket and headed straight for the stage, “hit my music!”
ON STAGE
Shane McMahon + Stephanie McMahon: Shane McMahon said John Cena was the new World Heavyweight champion, and Batista & Jericho both have rematch clauses to cash in on. Shane booked Jericho vs. Batista in a number one contenders match tonight! Stephanie McMahon came out and added Randy Orton to the number one contenders match, making it a triple threat! Shane and Stephanie cracked jokes and discussed something privately for a few brief seconds. Stephanie announced a tag team match between John Morrison & Mike Mizanin, and… suddenly Shane cut her off and yelled Shawn Michaels & Rey Mysterio! Stephanie got made at her big brother and said “this is MY show!” and scolded Shane for showing up unannounced and said she won’t let Shane stab her in the back. Shane tried to smooth things over, and said he was there to have some fun and make RAW a better show. Stephanie told Shane to hop back in his little ferrari and drive back to New York City where he came from. Stephanie said Shane can run the corporation, while she runs the show. Shane asked Stephanie wanted to run the show or if she was going to sleep with another WWE Super Star and get another husband. Stephanie slapped Shane, and he said if Stephanie wants to run RAW then he will watch he run it straight into the ground!
TAG TEAM REMATCH
Shawn Michaels & Rey Mysterio defeated John Morrison & Mike Mizanin: Midway through the match, JBL’s white limo drove out into the arena and JBL got out and stood in front watching the match. Rey Mysterio won by pinning Miz Mizanin, but John Morrison attacked Rey after the match! Shawn Michaels went after Morrison, but Morrison got the advantage and punched Michaels repeatedly in the head! JBL entered the ring and lined up to kick Shawn Michaels but changed his mind and kicked Morrison in the head instead!

Todd Grisham & John Bradshaw Layfield: JBL said he gave Shawn Michaels an offer this morning, and he feels like Michaels is considering it strongly. JBL said what he did tonight was a sign of good faith that that transaction will be completed very soon.
ON STAGE
Mr. Kennedy: Lilian Garcia introduced Mr. Kennedy as the [star of the upcoming movie “Behind Enemy Lines: Columbia” Mr. Kennedy]…. Mr. Kennedy came out as a huge babyface and plugged his movie, where he plays a Navy Seal who gets caught in hostile territory. Kennedy said he was in Boston for Survivor Series and infiltrated the line to get into the building with a camera. Kennedy showed a video asking fans which WWE Super Star reminds them of President Elect Barack Obama. One kid said Vince McMahon, pointing out that they are both stubborn and have big ears. Kennedy said he was upset that nobody said one name….. Mr. Kennedy…….. KENNEDY!!!

Todd Grisham & Batista: Batista praised John Cena for walking into his hometown for his comeback and winning the World Heavyweight title. Batista said it gave him goosebumps, because he knows what it’s like to be on the mountain top – and he’s on a mission to become World Heavyweight champion again.
1ST ROUND – TOURNAMENT FOR IC TITLE SHOT
Kofi Kingston defeated Kane by DQ: Lilian Garcia introduced the first ever WWE Intercontinental champion and WWE Hall of Famer, Pat Patterson. Kane was disqualified for bending Kofi around the ring post and refusing to break the hold. Kane snapped and threw the ring steps into the ring and bashed Kofi in the head with it! Stephanie McMahon came out and told Kane he had two choices; 1) take out his aggression on Kofi tonight, or 2) take out his aggression on the World Heavyweight champion next week – Kane stopped his assault and smiled at Stephanie..
TRIPLE THREAT #1 CONTENDERS MATCH
Chris Jericho defeated Randy Orton and Batista: Cody Rhodes & Manu were shown watching Randy Orton’s entrance backstage on a monitor. Late in the match, Randy Orton was going in for the kill but Batista speared him! Jericho kicked Batista in the head and pinned Orton to win the match!
SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH
Goldust defeated Santino Marella w/Beth Phoenix: Santino Marella (with Beth Phoenix) said he was the greatest Intercontinental champion of all the times, and complained about not being featured in the Greatest Intercontinental Champions DVD and about not being entered in the Intercontinental Title Tournament. Santino addressed the unknown “hater” who requested to fight him tonight. Santino talked tough, but was shocked when his challenger turned out to be Goldust!
1ST ROUND – TOURNAMENT FOR IC TITLE SHOT
C.M. Punk defeated Gene Snitsky: Before the match, William Regal (with Layla El) came down holding his prestigious Intercontinental title to join Michael Cole & Jerry Lawler on commentary to explain why he requested a tournament to name his next challenger.

Todd Grisham & Rey Mysterio + Mike Knox: Rey Mysterio said he knows the history of the Intercontinental championship because he watched the DVD. Rey talked about facing Mike Mizanin in a 1st Round match for the Intercontinental Title Tournament. Rey listed some former Intercontinental champions and said he wanted to be added to the list. Mike Knox showed up and towered over Rey Mysterio trying to intimidate him.
VIGNETTE
Triple H & Shawn Michaels: Degeneration X did some plugs for some DX merchandise at WWE Shopzone, and brought in Kelly Kelly to model the brand new DX tank top/jersey. So hot. Shawn Michaels plugged the SmackDown! vs. RAW video game but got all the terminology wrong so Kelly had to correct him.
SIX DIVAS TAG TEAM MATCH
Mickie James & Candice Michelle & Melina Perez defeated Beth Phoenix & Jillian Hall & Katie Lea: Beth Phoenix bragged about being the Sole Survivor at Survivor Series until she was interrupted by Jillian Hall. Jillian plugged the return of the Slammy Awards in two weeks and predicted that she would win a whole bunch of awards. Jillian started singing a song and Katie Lea stole the scene by looking totally sexy as a backup dancer. Melina Perez was supposed to be a suprise, but the production staff accidentally put her name up on the screen during Candice Michelle’s entrance theme. Melina is hot as ever, and did her popular split-legged entrance into the ring. Melina scored the pin on Katie Lea to win the match, but she was really blown up (out of breath) after the match.

Chris Jericho & Stephanie McMahon: Chris Jericho told Stephanie McMcMahon that if John Cena was going to the ring then he would go out there and be his personal one-man welcoming committee.
IN THE RING
Chris Jericho + John Cena: Chris Jericho reminded everybody about the time Batista stole his championship and he won it back eight days later. Jericho said that the exact same thing is going to happen to John Cena in three weeks at Armageddon. John Cena came up on the big screen surrounded by fans somewhere in the crowd. Cena said that Jericho has lost his grasp on reality. Cena said Jericho wanted to be a one-man welcoming committee, but added that he brought a few thousand friends so Jericho can welcome all of them right now! John Cena made his way through the fans and joined Chris Jericho in the ring. Thank God Cena’s belt doesn’t spin! Cena said all of the fans were different but they all care about the WWE. Cena said the fans and their family spend their hard earned money so they can express themselves. Cena said all they ask of them in return is that every time they step inside the ring they share that passion. Cena said that without the fans none of this exists. Cena said his goal in the WWE is to give five everything that he has to the WWE fans. Jericho responded by saying he doesn’t give a damn what the fans thought. Jericho listed the people he has defeated, but Cena told him to STOP! Cena said the biggest difference between the two of them is that Jericho talks business, and he (Cena) means business. Cena took off his hat and shirt to make a challenge, but Jericho quickly retreated with an arrogant smirk on his face. Cena said his match with Jericho at Survivor Series was a hell of a match, and praised Jericho’s abilities. Cena said Jericho keeps saying he needs to save the WWE, but he (Cena) loves the WWE. Cena said Jericho insults the fans week after week. Cena said he was as much of a WWE fan as anybody else there and held up the World Championship and said “THIS PROVES THAT THE CHAMP IS HERE!” Jericho got back into the ring and proclaimed that Cena doesn’t scare him. Jericho called Cena a liar and a hypocrite just like the sicko fans! Jericho said he would prove that Cena was a flash in the pan at Armageddon. Jericho called Cena a worm and a coward until Cena snapped and went on the attack! Cena got some shots in and then tossed Jericho out of the ring. Cena left the ring and continued the assault on Jericho! Cena threw Jericho into the ring steps on the floor. Cena picked up the ring steps and rammed Jericho in the head! Cena dragged Jericho back into the ring and took him down with a running clothesline. Cena put Jericho in the Full Nelson and threw him down to the mat. Cena then put Jericho into the STF-U and made Jericho pass out in the ring!
