“Royal Rumble Winner” Edge + WWE champion Sheamus: Edge came out to a mixed reaction and said it felt good to be back. Edge said he isn’t just back in the ring or back in front of them, he is back in the main event of WrestleMania! Edge said him and Jericho won the unified tag team championships 6 months ago but then he got injured. Edge said the doctors had him coming back in March, April, June, maybe even never! Edge said he saw RAW seven weeks ago, and he saw Jericho thank him for getting injured so he could team with the Big Show! Edge said he saw Jericho making light of his injury, and the room got very silent. Edge said it wasn’t just silent because Dennis Miller (the host for that night) bombed another joke, it got silent because at that moment Edge made himself a vow. Edge said he has already missed 2 WrestleMania’s due to injury but he wasn’t going to miss a third! Edge said he realized who he was, and he is the ultimate opportunist! Edge said he made himself that promise, he promised he would prove the doctors wrong, and that he would rehab harder than he ever has before and he did! Edge said he promised himself he was going to win the Royal Rumble! Edge said 7 weeks later Jericho has his Slammy award and a mugshot on TMZ, but Edge has his ticket to WrestleMania! Edge said he can face any champion he wants. Edge said 2 years ago in the main event of WrestleMania he faced The Undertaker, and he lost. Edge said unlike Shawn Michaels, if he wants Taker this year he can have him. Edge said its not smart to go after the guy who has 17-0 at WrestleMania, but the smart thing to do is to go for a guy who hasn’t even competed at WrestleMania (Sheamus). Edge said he is going to wait until after Elimination Chamber to make his decision. But one thing is for sure, he will main event this years WrestleMania! WWE champion Sheamus came down to the ring. Sheamus said Edge isn’t back 5 seconds but he’s already mouthing off, and that things have changed since he left. Edge said it seems RAW has been taken over by an evil Ronald McDonald! Sheamus told Edge to watch his mouth. Sheamus said he hasn’t competed at WrestleMania, but he has defeated John Cena for the WWE championship, and that last night he defeated Randy Orton to retain his title. Edge said he has made a career out of that championship, and he has also beaten Randy Orton. Sheamus said that was a long time ago and Edge has been sidelined for 7 months, Sheamus said he is going to walk out of the Elimination Chamber still WWE champion, and that if he could defeat John Cena and Randy Orton, he wont have any trouble defeating Edge! Sheamus told Edge to run off to SmackDown! because he doesn’t want to ruin his Royal Rumble moment by knocking his head off. Sheamus said he should take the opportunity to walk out of there in one piece before Sheamus puts him back on the shelf, for good. Sheamus smacked the mic into Edge’s face and knocked him down! Sheamus went for the bicycle kick but Edge ducked it. Edge punched Sheamus a few times and then hit the spear! Edge left Sheamus laying there.
ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH
John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes: Cody Rhodes started off in control with a lot of punches and kicks and hits the Russian leg sweep on Cena. Cody hit the neck breaker and a knee, but when he went for a second knee Cena moved. Cena hit a shoulder block and went for the back suplex but Cody got out of it and went for the pin. Cena hit one right after followed by the 5 knuckle shuffle. Cena went for the AA but Cody slipped out of it. Cody remained on offense and hit a nice moonsault for 2. Cena hit the AA a moment later for the 3 to advance to the RAW Elimination Chamber match. Anyone who thought Cody actually had a chance must be new to the show.

Vince McMahon + Josh Mathews + William Shatner: Josh Mathews stopped Mr. McMahon in the hall and asked if he has seen Bret Hart yet. Vince said he hadn’t, but that no one was likely to see him because he wasn’t going to show up. Vince walked into his office and started talking to someone off screen, saying its no surprise “he” barged in his office, and asking if Canadians have any manners. It turned out to be the guest host of the night William Shatner! Shatner said (in his dramatic pausing voice) that as a fellow Canadian and as a fan of WWE, he can’t wait for Bret Hart to embarrass him tonight!
ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH
Triple H defeated Jack Swagger: Jakes Swagger took down Hunter easily and kept him down. Swagger let go and starts gloating and taunting (Editors note: He probably knew he had no chance of winning and decided to make the most of it). Triple H attacked Swagger and knocked him out of the ring as RAW went to commercial. When RAW returned Swagger was in control. Swagger charged at Hunter but got thrown out of the ring again. Swagger locked in a sleeper hold, and then went for a big splash after but Hunter got his knees up. Swagger reversed a pedigree attempt into a backdrop. Swagger connected with the big splash but Hunter kicked out at 2. Triple H got the pedigree a few moments later for 3.

Shawn Michaels + Triple H + Hornswoggle: Shawn Michaels was sitting in the back looking depressed. Hunter asked him if he had a second to talk. Hornswoggle ran in being stupid but Hunter told him to go away. Hunter asked Shawn why he superkicked him out of the rumble and said he would have never done that to him (Editors note: That’s because if you tried to do a superkick you would tear something in your leg again). Hunter said he was kidding and that he probably would have if he got the chance. Hunter asked Shawn what his problem was. Shawn said it wasn’t supposed to happen like that, he was supposed to win the Rumble and defeat the Undertaker at WrestleMania. Hunter told Shawn he was obsessed and he had to let it go. Hunter told Shawn he went crazy last night and that he’s lucky he didn’t get suspended. Hunter told Shawn he needed to get his stuff back together. Hunter said Shawn needed to get into the Elimination Chamber match. Hunter told Shawn all he had to do was defeat Orton.
ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH
Randy Orton defeated Shawn Michaels: Since Randy Orton’s entrance takes 30 minutes they cut to commercial. When they came back Shawn entered. Shawn looked similar to Randy, they both had the same look on their faces. Shawn went for the Sweet Chin Music early but Randy left the ring. Randy went for the rope DDT but Shawn got out of it. Shawn hit a cross body block for 2. Randy hit his inverted back breaker and worked on Shawn for a while. Randy went for the superplex but Shawn knocked Randy off of the turnbuckle and hit the elbow drop. Shawn got ready for the sweet chin music but Orton got out of it and nearly hit the RKO! Shawn went to kip up but Orton grabbed him and rolled him up for the 3! Shawn sat in the ring looking ready to flip out. Shawn flipped out a bit and stormed away.

Randy Orton + Ted DiBiase Jr.: Randy Orton was walking through the back when Ted stopped him. Ted congratulated him and said he was sorry about last night. Ted said he couldn’t speak for Cody but he was really sorry. Randy gave him the medusa death stare and left Ted frozen in fear.
ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH
Ted DiBiase Jr. Defeated Mark Henry: Ted Jr. kept bouncing off of Mark and Mark knocked him over the top rope. Mark got out of the ring and went after him but Ted started slamming Marks arm into the ring post and steel steps. Ted worked on Marks arm for around 2 minutes and won with a weak arm wrench like move.

Gail Kim & Kelly Kelly + Maryse Ouellet: Kelly was talking to Gail Kim when Maryse said hi to them. Maryse said she was really looking forward to her championship match with Gail. Maryse said the women’s championship feud on SmackDown! right now is really embarrassing and that they are acting like little girls (agreed). Maryse said they should show everyone what real women can do. Maryse said something in French and left. Kelly asked what that was about… Mike Aldren wrote: Oh, and for those who were wondering, Maryse told Gail Kim: “Just want to let you know that, at the end, I will win the championship!”

WWE United States champion Mike “The Miz” Mizanin & The Big Show + Straight Edge Society (C.M. Punk & Luke Gallows & Serena) + William Shatner: The Miz told Big Show he would win his qualifying match and become the WWE champion in 3 weeks. Miz said he was sure T.J Hooker would give them a unified tag team title match next week. Straight Edge Society entered! Punk said Teddy Long robbed him of his tag team title shot and that he was looking for an authority figure to give him what he wants. Miz said he didn’t think that would happen, him and Show want the same thing and Straight Edge Society aren’t even on RAW. Show told Gallows he gives bald people a bad name. William Shatner entered. In a reference to a commercial or something Shatner stood between them and the graphic “RAW Match Negotiator” showed up. Shatner asked what the problem was. Punk said they deserved a title shot against DX so they were there to collect. Miz told Shatner SES weren’t even on RAW, so that him and Show deserved the shot. Shatner said he would make a deal. Shatner said next week on RAW it would be a triple threat tag match for the unified tag team titles. Shatner dropped the names of some companies and then stood there frozen, asking for a freeze frame. Both parties left him standing there.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Unified Tag Team champions DX (Shawn Michaels & Triple H): Hunter said maybe it’s not meant to be, but that Shawn still needs to move on. Hunter said its not the end of the world and that Shawn is Mr. WrestleMania, and that Shawn doesn’t need Undertaker to prove that. Hunter said there are plenty of guys for Shawn to face, but Shawn only said “not for me”.
ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH
Kofi Kingston defeated Big Show by disqualification: The Miz was on commentary until MVP showed up and chased him away part way through the match! Big Show knocked around Kofi for a while. Big Show went to knock Kofi out of the ring but Kofi got out of the way and drop kicked Big Show onto the floor (Editors note: I guess people being knocked out of the ring in each match is the theme for tonight). Big Show got back in control over the break. Big Show got Kofi into a cobra clutch. Kofi got out of it but Big Show gave him a head butt. Kofi slipped on the top rope but then hit a missile drop kick! Kofi knocked Show over and hit the boom drop. Kofi accidentally poked Big Show in the eye and blinded Show punched a ref in the face! Scott Armstrong ran down to the ring and disqualified Show! Show started whining like a little kid, saying it was an accident. Show stormed up the ramp like a 2 year old yelling it was an accident.
IN THE RING
Jerry “The King” Lawler + William Shatner w/The Bella Twins + Bret “The Hitman” Hart + Vince McMahon: Jerry Lawler introduced William Shatner into the ring. Shatner came with tonight’s prostitutes, the Bella Twins. William Shatner knocked Jerry over getting in the ring and kept asking him if he was okay. Shatner said he had the best time being the guest host, and that he would like to have the honor of introducing Bret Hart to the ring! The Bella Twins did some extremely fake clapping as Bret walked to the ring. Bret said it was a little over a month ago (actually it was less than a month) when he was there. Bret said he had a month to think about things and put it all into perspective. Bret said he came there for all the right reasons. Bret said it took him 12 years to find it deep down in his heart to come there open arms and try to make peace. Bret said people told him he was crazy, but he was too naïve, and that he actually thought he could put it all behind him once and for all. Bret said he was wrong, and that it doesn’t sit very well for him. Bret said he wasn’t there tonight for peace, or to make closure. Bret said he was there to talk to Vince McMahon face to face. Bret said if he didn’t come soon he would go find him with the camera crew. Vince did a ridiculous new strut to the ring, and surprisingly didn’t blow out his quads! Vince said he needed to get some things off his chest. Vince said before he did, he wanted to say he never regretted a thing he’s done to Bret. Bret said that’s the first honest thing Vince has ever said to him! Bret said Vince is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be at lying! Bret said Vince lied in Montreal, and lied all last time he was there. Bret said he couldn’t believe Vince said he was like a father to him. Bret said John Cena called Vince pathetic, and that he knows all about pathetic. Bret said 8 years ago he was wheelchair bound from a stroke, and that before he was able to walk again he would cry himself to sleep at night thinking about how pathetic he was. Bret said when he finally got out of it he said he made a vow to never feel pathetic again, but then he came to RAW! Bret said last week Vince made him feel pathetic. Bret said for 14 years he worked hard for Vince, 300 days a year. Bret said he always told himself that some day Vince McMahon would appreciate it. Bret said it took him 20 years to build a reputation, but it only took Vince 3 minutes to tear it all down. Bret said last week Vince described him as old chewing gum. Bret said this stick of chewing gum has just enough flavor left in it to kick his ass! Vince started introducing Bret Hart, with all of his nicknames, like Hitman and excellence of execution. Vince said what a crock! Vince said the thought of Bret being called a Canadian hero makes him sick. Vince said Bret isn’t a hero to anyone. Vince said he had no idea what everyone sees in him. Vince said he thinks Bret is pathetic. Vince said Bret has ZERO personality. Vince said if it wasn’t for Bret’s opponents (Shawn Michaels, Mr. Perfect, and Stone Cold Steve Austin) who had personality, Bret would be a nobody. Vince said Bret has no charisma, and no command over the English language, a hound dog looking face, stringy hair, and that he is dressed like a hobo. Vince said Bret Hart deserved to be screwed. Vince said he had one more thing to say. Vince said last time they talked he said he considered nominating Stu Hart for the hall of fame. Vince said that’s not going to happen anymore because Stu doesn’t deserve it. Bret lost his temper and started attacking Vince! Bret went for the sharpshooter but Batista showed up! Batista grabbed Bret and started punching him until he was down. Batista held Bret up while Vince yelled at him. Vince spit into Bret’s face! Batista continued to hold him up as the show went off the air.
