Commentary: Michael Cole and Pat McAfee
Results by: Mike Tedesco of Wrestleview.com

“Then. Now. Forever. Together.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

Parking Lot

A vehicle drives up to the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. Out steps United States Champion Logan Paul with IShowSpeed and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. The Judgment Day walks up to the trio. World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest mentions that the United States Championship looks good on Paul. Paul says The Judgment Day is doing a great job, and Priest will destroy Jey Uso on Saturday at Backlash. They all walk into the arena together.

Ringside Area

Michael Cole and Pat McAfee are on microphones and welcome us to the show. Tonight, the show will be shaken up. McAfee talks about how “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns withdrew his name from the WWE Draft. McAfee acknowledges him for giving younger stars a chance.

They run down the results of the WWE Draft stemming from SmackDown. All champions are protected on their respective shows. There are Raw and SmackDown Draft “War Rooms.” We also see a shot of the NXT Arena with all the performers watching.

Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch kicks off the show

Women’s World Champion “The Man” Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring to a big ovation. Lynch says, “The Man has come around to Kansas City.” Lynch says she has some history in this city. A lot of people say this is where “The Man” was born. Nearly six years ago, she stood up on the steps with a bloodied face and let everyone know that this was her show now. Now she’s the new Women’s World Champion six years later and is still saying the same damn thing. A “Becky” chant fires up.

Lynch says we are on Night Two of the WWE Draft. The times are changing. We have a whole new division waiting in the wings. It has taken her two years to get back to holding a World Championship. The crowd chants, “You deserve it!” Lynch says she loves the fans. Now that she is holding the title, her instinct is to hold it tight and never let it go. Championships aren’t meant for holding. They’re meant for defending. She says we need to find a new #1 Contender. Lynch wants to fight the best.

Liv Morgan’s music hits to interrupt the new champion. Morgan says if she’s looking for a new #1 Contender, she is here. A “Mami” chant fires up. Morgan gets in the ring and says the very last thing she wanted was for Lynch to hand her a title opportunity, but Lynch owes her one. The truth is that the only reason Lynch won the Women’s World Championship was that Morgan did what Lynch couldn’t do at WrestleMania: take out Rhea Ripley. This is the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour. They both know that the endgame is always going to be Morgan. Morgan won’t stop until she has everything she wants.

Lynch says Morgan is right in that she wouldn’t be holding the title if not for what Morgan did to Rhea Ripley. The interesting thing is that Morgan would be holding the title if not for what Lynch did to her. It’s funny how that works.

Nia Jax’s music hits. She was drafted to SmackDown this past Friday, but she can still appear on Monday Night Raw since rosters don’t go into effect until next Monday. The crowd loudly boos her. Jax says Kansas City is extremely rude for not welcoming the Irresistible Force into their homes. They’re lucky she showed up. Jax says she dominated them both last week and should be the champion. The only reason she isn’t is because Lynch and Morgan teamed up to make sure she wouldn’t be. Luckily, Jax got drafted to the superior show, SmackDown. Jax points out that she is wearing blue tonight. Jax says she will soon be champion, so she’s not worried. Jax gets on the ring apron. Tonight is her last night on Raw. That gets a great ovation. If she’s leaving, she’s taking one of them with her. Morgan dropkicks Jax as she gets in the ring. If Jax is going to make a challenge, Morgan accepts! Jax backs away from the ring.
