GRUDGE MATCH
“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair defeated Chris Jericho by submission: Chris Jericho put Ric Flair in the figure-four. There was controversy about whether or not Flair tapped out. Referee said the match would continue. Flair beat Jericho in the middle of the ring with a figure four of his own!
GRUDGE MATCH
Edge defeated Eddie Guerrero: Eddie really worked over Edge’s shoulder during this match. Edge got the win with the Spear!
PROMO: The UnAmericans did an anti-Nassau promo, saying they were unresponsive to world class athletes. Lance Storm said that the crowd would probably sit on their hands the entire match.
WWF TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
Lance Storm & Christian defeated Booker T & Goldust: Test interfered and kicked Booker T in the face!

Eric Bischoff & Nidia: Nidia molested some guy backstage. Eric said that Nidia knows a woman’s place in the business. Eric said Nidia would be a great addition to RAW.
WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH
Rob Van Dam defeated Chris Benoit to win the WWF Intercontinental title: Tony Chimel announced Chris Benoit.. Howard Finkel announced Rob Van Dam. Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler called the match. RVD won clean with the frog splash to take the belt to RAW!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Eric Bischoff & Stephanie McMahon: Eric Bischoff celebrated RVD’s bringing the Intercontinental title back to RAW. Stephanie just laughed in his face, which only served to confuse Eric.
SINGLES MATCH
The Undertaker defeated Test: Lance Storm & Christian interfered and were both choke slammed. The Undertaker planted Test with a tombstone piledriver. Undertaker put Test in the ‘rest in peace’ position. Undertaker waved an American flag after the match..
GRUDGE MATCH
Shawn Michaels defeated Triple H: They went 27:00 and totally stole the show. Shawn Michaels hit an elbow drop off a ladder and a plancha through a table. Michaels pinned him with a cradle after blocking the pedigree. Both wrestlers bled.. HHH attacked Michaels after the match with a sledge hammer to the back twice. Michaels was stretchered out of the building.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Howard Finkel + Trish Stratus + Lilian Garcia: Trish Stratus was hitting on Howard Finkel. Lillian snuck up behind The Fink and low blowed him!! Good job Lillian!!!
MAIN EVENT
Brock Lesnar defeated The Rock: Brock Lesnar won with the F-5 clean in the middle of the ring. They are playing up Lesnar as the youngest World champion in history.
CONCLUSION: After the PPV ended .. Rock was visibly angry at the crowd reaction.. The idea was that he’d do a post-show mic speech for the live crowd.. Every time he tried to talk they booed him out of the building. . He ended up saying, “It doesn’t matter where the Rock comes back to!” to play off the booing… He then teased “If you smell,” he held up and said “No more sing along with the Rock!” .. He left doing heel mannerisms from his old days with the Nation.
