Career History

In The Beginning:

  • Debra Marshall was a former beuaty pageant competitor and was the runner up for Miss Texas USA in 1984.
  • 1994: Debra Marshall appeared in the “Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation” movie.

World Championship Wrestling:

  • Debra was married to NFL legend and WCW wrestler, Steve “Mongo” McMichaels.
  • Debra originally debuted in WCW in the audience, and was harassed and hit on by the Nature Boy Ric Flair.
  • ~~~Steve McMichael came to his wife’s rescue, setting up a Steve McMichael and Kevin Greene vs Ric Flair and Arn Anderson.
  • Great American Bash 1996: Ric Flair and Arn Anderson beat Steve McMichael and Kevin Green when McMichael turned on Greene!
  • Queen Debra and Steve McMichael joined the Four Horsemen as she also began escorting Jeff Jarrett to the ring.
  • Queen Debra eventually became one of three valets accompanying “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair (with Woman and Elizabeth).
  • Queen Debra left her husbund on-screen, and began managing “Das Wunderkind” Alex Wright.
  • Debra went through a messy real life divorce with Steve McMichael and was eliminated from WCW Television.
  • November 27, 1997 – WCW Nitro: Debra botched her attempted interference, causing Alex Wright to get pinned by Prince Iaukea.
  • ~~~After the match was over, Alex Wright “fired” Debra as his manager and this was her last appearance in the company.

World Wrestling Federation:

  • Debra eventurally resurfaced in the World Wrestling Federation as Jeff Jarrett’s manager.
  • December 1998: Debra would go ringside during Goldust’s matches and distract him by flashing her body at him.
  • December 13, 1998 – Rock Bottom PPV: Goldust w/Marlena defeated Jeff Jarrett w/Debra in a Strip Tease match.
  • ~~~The stipulation was if Jarrett won Goldust would have to strip and if Goldust won then Debra would strip.
  • ~~~Jeff Jarrett initially won the match when Debra hit Goldust over the head with Jarrett’s gimmick guitar.
  • ~~~WWF Commissioner Shawn Michaels reversed the decision and disqualified Jarrett to give the fans a “show”.
  • ~~~Debra started to strip down, but before she could take her bra off the Blue Blazer ran down and covered her.
  • Debra later managed the team of Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart to the WWF World Tag Team titles.
  • May 10, 1999–RAW: Debra defeated Sable in an Evening Gown Match to win the WWF Women’s Championship.
  • ~~~Champion Sable had originally won by removing Debra’s Evening Gown, which was the object of the match.
  • ~~~ Commissioner Shawn Michaels came down and said the woman who lost her dress first was declared the winner!
  • May 23, 1999 – Over The Edge: Val Venis and Nicole Bass defeated Jeff Jarrett and Debra (The night Owen Hart DIED).
  • June 14, 1999 – RAW: Ivory defeated Debra to win the WWF Women’s Championship.
  • Summer 1999: Jeff Jarrett blamed Debra for all his losses and started an anti-women crusade.
  • August 22, 1999 – SummerSlam: Debra came out Jeff Jarrett but he made her leave and go to the back.
  • ~~~Debra left and came back out with D’Lo Brown but ended up helping Jeff Jarrett win the match!
  • August 23, 1999 – RAW: Jeff Jarrett gave Debra an assistant, Miss Kitty (Jerry Lawler’s real life girlfriend).
  • September 26, 1999 – Unforgiven: Debra turned on Jeff Jarrett causing him to be pinned by female opponent Chyna.
  • September 27, 1999 – RAW: Chyna and Debra defeated Jeff Jarrett and Dr. Tom Prichard w/Miss Kitty in a tag team match.
  • November 14, 1999 – Survivor Series: Mae Young and Moolah and Tori and Debra beat Ivory and Luna and Jacquelyn and Terri.
  • December 1999: Debra received an offer from Playboy to appear nude in the magazine, but turned the offer down.
  • Debra began a relationship with WWF Megastar Stone Cold Steve Austin and got married (September 6, 2000).
  • Fall 2000: Debra was left without a gimmick so she was named “deputy commissioner” to Commissioner Mick Foley.
  • Summer 2001: Debra joined the Alliance after Stone Cold Steve Austin turned on the WWF and became an Alliance member.
  • ~~~Debra started a gimmick where she baked cookies that tasted horrible but Alliance were afraid to speak up.
  • August 2, 2001 – SmackDown!: Debra hit Stone Cold Steve Austin with a cookie tray.
  • August 6, 2001 – RAW: Stone Cold Steve Austin w/Debra defeated Matt Hardy w/Lita.
  • January 2002: Debra vs. Stephanie McMahon fought and argued about whose husband would win the Royal Rumble.
  • January 14, 2002 – RAW: Debra and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley started fighting backstage over their husbands.

Retirement from Wrestling:

  • Steve Austin and Debra Williams’ contracts are suspended after Steve Austin walks out on the company.
  • ~~~Steve and Debra’s personal lives went into a downward spiral with repeated troubles with the law.
  • ~~~A few months later, when Steve Austin returned, but Miss Debra was not brought back to the company.
  • March 2004: Debra sold her wedding ring (from her Steve “Austin” Williams marriage) on an Ebay auction.
  • ~~~The proceeds will benefit SafePlace, a non profit organization that is against domestic violence.
  • January 15, 2006: Debra Marshall was spotted backstage at the TNA Final Resolution show “visiting friends”.
  • Debra Marshall has a minor role in the movie “Resident Evil: Extinction” – scheduled for release in 2007.

    Ainsley Brooks wrote: Former wwe diva Debra Marshall is in the upcoming 2009 movie “Gathering of Heroes: Legend of the Seven Swords” where she will be playing the role of “Reina”. Debra has also died her hair brown and i’d say shes looking good for her age.
