[ REVIEWED BY SEAN SWEENY ]

IN RING SEGMENT
John Cena made his way down to the ring and grabbed a microphone. He talked about how this is a Super SmackDown with members of RAW & SMACKDOWN being on hand. He then called out Alberto Del Rio to come out for a super beat down. However his personal ring announce Ricardo Rodriguez came out to the ring with a message straight from the WWE Champion himself, and that message was Cena will have to wait just a little bit longer till Night of Champions to have the honor to step into the ring with the WWE Champion, ALBERTO DEL RIO! Ricardo then repeatedly said Alberto Del Rio till Cena finally yelled at him to shut up, and that he has a gift for Del Rio, and then proceeded to punch Ricardo which layed him out and knocked him out of the ring. This then led to Wade Barrett making his way out to the ring. Barrett claimed that Cena was trying to hijack SmackDown and we are only two minutes into the program, and that Cena learned nothing from the lessons he tried to teach him last year, which was why Barrett personally requested this match against Cena. Barrett said he will make Cena feel just as pathetic as when Cena was his slave. Cena then told Barrett he made his life a living hell and he owed him a little payback and tonight Barrett will learn payback is a bitch.

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Matt Striker & Christian: Striker said there was no more friends no more excuses, how does Christian feel about the steel cage match tonight. Christian says that tonight is his night everyone from Edge to Bret Hart may have turned their back on him but he is resilient and he doesn’t need the World Heavyweight Championship to validate his career, he wants to be champion and steel cage or not Randy Orton will find out tonight that Christian always gets what he wants.

IN RING SEGMENT
Teddy Long & Triple H & CM Punk & Kevin Nash: Contract signing time for the Night of Champions Match between HHH and Punk. Triple H said he has cancelled CM Punk’s match against Kevin Nash and the board has allowed him to take off his suit and step into the ring for one night only, so would Punk please join him in the ring. Punk’s music hit and he made his way down to the ring. Punk said while this is all lovely but this is all unnecessary as Triple H’s word is gospel so he doesn’t understand why they need all of this. HHH apologizes for last night and how Punk was probably caught off guard, and Punk says he is never caught off guard with anything that goes on here, but wants to know why the match was changed. HHH goes on to say with everything you have said about his wife, himself, his father in law, HHH continues to say Punk held the company hostage with the WWE championship and he bent over backwards for Punk getting him the Living in Colour song for his theme music, and his new “best in the world” tee shirt. Punk has continually disrespected HHH and now he will have to answer to HHH in the ring. CM Punk says that he is glad he isn’t getting the COO in the ring he wants the cerebral assassin in the ring. He then goes on to say that HHH may not be the man for job since the last person in charge couldn’t separate personal problems and business. Punk loves the WWE but he wants to change for everyone and for the better and he wants to be the catalyst. HHH then says that he only wants it to change when it benefits himself. Triple H then says that there are some people that may agree with what Punk has to say but there a lot of people that like what they see. Triple H then goes on to say that when he came in he told everyone he would step on people to get to the top whereas Punk back doored his way to the top. Punk says that there maybe some that like it but he wants everyone to like it, because at the core he is a fan. Punk says that he thought they both wanted the same things around here but he guesses he was wrong because Triple H is back to his old ways hiring his old buddies to do his dirty work, and then as he signs the contract he asks that Triple H doesn’t fine or suspend him after he kicks his ass at Night of Champion. Triple H then goes on to say that Punk can compare him to Vince all he wants because he respects Vince and everything he has done for this business and he isn’t like Vince because would have taken a beating from Punk because it would have been good for business, but this is personal now and he is going to kick his ass.  Kevin Nash’s music hits and he makes a B-Line for the ring with Triple H trying to keep Punk away HHH pushes Punk away and Nash decks him.
