WWE Monday Night RAW
Location: Detroit, MI
Date: December 15, 2014
Commentators: Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and JBL

Chris Jericho is out first to kick off the show tonight in Detroit.

“Welcome to…RAW…is…Jericho,” says Jericho on the mic. He said he is excited to be in Detroit Rock City tonight and can feel the energy. Jericho introduces himself as the special guest General Manager of RAW tonight and he wants to make tonight about the fans. He talks about winning a Slammy Award last week as a result of the fans and thanks them. Jericho mentions that he was unable to accept the award and that Fandango accepted on his behalf. He is demanding as the General Manager of RAW (calling Fandango a series of names and ending with Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”) that Fandango return his award.

Paul Heyman interrupts Jericho introducing himself. He confesses to being a Jericho-holic and how Jericho has the power tonight. Heyman said he finds this ironic and figures the smart thing to do would be to put him in charge of RAW. He admits to having a beef. Heyman can’t believe Jericho won for Extreme Moment of the Year and that if anyone was going to win an “extreme” award – the audience starts an “ECW” chant. Heyman said he is the creator of extreme and Jericho cuts him off calling him a walrus. Jericho admits to getting his first break in ECW, but adds that Heyman ripped him off and he owes him $200. He starts poking and slapping Heyman smiling as Heyman backs off saying it isn’t funny. “I’m not a fighter, I’m an advocate,” says Heyman. He said he isn’t here tonight to advocate for Brock Lesnar. Instead, he wants to address the situation with Seth Rollins. He talks about how Rollins failed in his task last night to prevent John Cena from keeping his No. 1 Contendership status against Lesnar.

Seth Rollins walks out with a mic to interrupt Heyman. “What’s that Paul? Did I hear you say you couldn’t wait to see Seth Rollins later tonight?” Rollins gets in Heyman’s face and Heyman says he is crowding him. Heyman says he isn’t a fighter, he isn’t a sports entertainer and he is simply an advocate. He instead chooses to take a step back. Rollins talks about Heyman being ringside for his match with John Cena last night. He talks about putting Cena through a table and a WWE official raising his hand in victory. Rollins said the victory was taken away from me. He brings up how last month he had the match won for Team Authority and “The Vigilante” Sting got involved. Rollins brings up the interference of Roman Reigns last night at TLC and how Cena can’t beat him on his own. “John Cena needs help to beat Seth Rollins because I’m that good.” He said he is sick of Cena and calls him a coward. Rollins says he is a challenge. “I want to challenge John Cena to a rematch…but not tonight.” Detroit doesn’t like this.  Rollins wants to face Cena when he is good and ready.

John Cena’s music hits and Cena heads to the ring. Cena calls Rollins a kid and tells him to shut up. He said just because Rollins walks out here and gets on a mic doesn’t mean he has a set of testicles in his pants. Cena said Rollins put up a good fight, but he lost. He said Rollins hasn’t learned what it is like to be a man. “A man simply picks himself up, dusts himself off and continues to fight.” Cena said after he beat Rollins, he will face “The Beast” Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He said he still showed up tonight looking for a fight and he couldn’t help but over hear talk about a rematch. Cena brings up that Rollins said he can’t beat him without help. “You’re right. I need help. I can’t make matches,” said Cena. Cena turns to Jericho. Jericho books Cena vs. Rollins tonight. He announces this match will take place inside a steel cage.

Cena heads to the back and Rollins starts running down Jericho on the mic. He calls Jericho the worst General Manager of all time. Rollins said Jericho is jealous of him. He calls Jericho rusty, out of shape and said he couldn’t even beat the janitor in the back. Rollins said he probably couldn’t even beat Paul Heyman. Jericho disagrees. Rollins brings up that Heyman can’t even wrestle. Jericho thinks he can beat Heyman. Heyman walks up and says he agrees that Jericho can beat Heyman. Jericho confirms he will face Heyman tonight. He asks the fans to vote on the WWE app on what match they will have tonight.
