August 27th: It was a great weekend in ROH that ended in a major negative. Bryan Danielson challenged ROH World Champion Takeshi Morishima last Saturday in Manhattan. Morishima retained in one of the greatest matches in ROH history. Danielson paid the price for the hard-hitting contest. He suffered a small orbital fracture and there is something wrong with his retina. Danielson will see a specialist today. It was a scary scene in the locker room as Danielson’s eye was rolled back in his head and he lost vision in his left eye. We will have more information as soon as we get an update.
August 27th: There is so much news coming out of last weekend. NOAH legend and GHC Heavyweight Champion Mitsuharu Misawa will wrestle in ROH on “Glory By Honor VI” weekend. November 2nd in Philadelphia and November 3rd in Manhattan will see the largest NOAH contingent yet with Misawa, KENTA, Naomichi Marufuji and ROH World Champion Takeshi Morishima in action. August 27th: The violent feud pitting ROH World Tag Team Champions Jay & Mark Briscoe against Kevin Steen & El Generico saw two more insane matches last weekend in Hartford and Manhattan. While The Briscoes won the matches, Steen & Generico won the wars. Steen & Generico left The Briscoes laying after both matches. Not only that, but Steen & Generico walked off with The Briscoes’ belts in Manhattan after they attacked Jay & Mark with a ladder. Now the feud will finally come to an end when ROH tapes its 3rd PPV on 9/15 in Chicago. ROH officials have already stated that this will be the final match between these two teams…and it will be a first time ever match in ROH. Steen & Generico will hand the belts over to ROH officials. They will be hung above the ring. It will be Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico in a LADDER MATCH on 9/15 in Chicago for the ROH World Tag Team Titles.
