Shawn Michaels + Triple H: Shawn played with the crowd and then talked about causing some trouble a few weeks ago here on RAW. Shawn said it got pretty heated between HHH and himself, because he desperately wanted HHH to take down the Undertaker at WrestleMania. Shawn said SOMETHING made him change his mind, and wanted to find out what made caused this. HHH came out to the ring, where Shawn explained that he tried everything a few weeks ago to get HHH to accept Taker’s challenge. Shawn said he hit below the belt and said things he shouldn’t have said. Shawn said he was amazed that HHH wouldn’t give in, because he was a man of honor. Shawn said SOMETHING made HHH change his mind, and he’s gotta know what it is. Shawn said SOMEBODY must have said SOMETHING that made HHH really mad – what was it? HHH started to explain, but Shawn cut him off and showed the footage. The video showed the moment where the Undertaker said HHH knows Shawn was better than him, which resulted in HHH changing his mind (he also made it a Hell in a Cell match). We cut back live to see Shawn looking at HHH for answers. Shawn said “so, that’s all it took? the worst thing anybody could say to you was that I am better than you.” HHH said it had nothing to do with that. HHH said he’s tired of listening to people like the Undertaker talk behind Shawn’s back saying he couldn’t get the job done. HHH said he wass tired of people saying Shawn was a failure. HHH said he was tired of people saying Shawn was never as good as he thought he was. HHH said he believes Shawn is the greatest in-ring performer of all time. HHH said it pains him to look at Shawn as a loser – that’s why he’s going to finish the Undertaker. HHH said he would end the streak and end the ERA. HHH said he would do it for himself and for Shawn. Shawn sarcastically thanked HHH, saying obviously we don’t have a problem because as always HHH has it under control. Shawn said last year it hurt him to look HHH in the eye and tell him he was going to lose, and then he watched HHH beat Undertaker within an inch of his life and then he lost. Shawn said he knows who will win, and he’ll be right again…… oh and the reason he knows that is because he was made the special referee!
WWE UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH
Santino Marella defeated Jack Swagger (w/Vickie Guerrero & Dolph Ziggler) to win the WWE United States title: Santino’s introduction was interrupted by Vickie Guerrero, who introduced the United States champion, Jack Swagger! RAW G.M. John Laurinaitis & David Otunga came down to ringside and cheered on RAW star Jack Swagger. Eventually, SmackDown! G.M. Theodore Long came down with Aksana & Kofi Kingston to confront JL. Things calmed down and the match continue with everybody at ringside. JL got on the ring apron, but Long pulled him down. There was some chaos, including Aksana pushing down Vickie. In the ring, Santino went for the Cobra, but ended up in the Anklelock. Long knocked down JL. Santino escaped the Anklelock and rolled up Swagger for the 1-2-3 to win the United States championship! JL ordered the music to be shut off and berated Theodore Long, who was running the show tonight. Long said he would give the fans a present and throw JL out of the building! Four security guards came down and dragged JL & Otunga out of the building. Long asked the ring announcer to proclaim Santino the NEW United States champion!
EARLIER TODAY (BOSTON HARBOUR)
The Rock: The Rock cut a promo about the history of Boston. The Rock compared the revolution against John Cena to the American Revolution. Rock talked about the Boston Tea Party, and began throwing John Cena merchandise into the Harbour. Rock said the revolution begins tonight with a series of history lessons, and a People’s Party in the arena.
DIVAS MATCH
Eve Torres (heel) defeated Alicia Fox: Kelly Kelly joined in on commentary for the match. After Eve won the match, Zack Ryder limped down to the ring with a cane. Ryder said he was glad they never hooked up, because you know what they say, Broski’s before Hoski’s! Woo woo woo!!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Zack Ryder & Eve Torress: Eve ran up to Zack and said she had something to tell him, then gave him a big kiss. She ran off leaving Zack with a big grin on his face!
EARLIER TODAY (EMPTY ARENA)
John Cena: John Cena talked about WrestleMania and all eyes being focused on he and the Rock. Cena said Rock had vaulted himself to superstar status outside of wrestling. Cena said he needs to win at WrestleMania. Cena said Boston was known as the city of champions, and remembered the New England Patiots losing the Superbowl. Cena said nobody remembers second place. Cena said he is proud of what he’s done in the WWE, but if he wins at WrestleMania, he will win the BIG ONE. Cena said WrestleMania was his LEGACY.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Chris Jericho & World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan defeated Sheamus & WWE champion C.M. Punk:

The Rock: The Rock talked about Paul Revere, saying if John Cena led the American Revolution they would be sipping tea right now. Rock went on about inventing a time machine and going back in time to whoop Cena’s ass.
SINGLES MATCH
The Big Show defeated The Miz by knockout: Cody Rhodes came out before the match and showed an embarrassing clip of Big Show hosting a party on WrestleMania night at the WWE Restaurant. Big Show won in less than a minute with a knockout punch.
EARLIER TODAY (BOSTON COMMON)
The Rock: The Rock talked about the American Revolution leading to the birth of the greatest country on earth. Rock said the people have waited 10 years to come back and take on Cena.
SINGLES MATCH
Kane defeated R-Truth: After the match, Randy Orton came down and gave Kane an RKO! Orton grabbed the mic and said it was good to be back!
IN THE RING
John Cena + The Rock: Cena said he didn’t think they could fit anybody else in the building, because FINALLY the Rock is back! Cena said the Rock’s history lessons were very entertaining. Cena compared Rock to The Situation. Cena said he didn’t think Rock showing up tonight was a good idea because his best stuff lately has been taped or via satellite. Cena talked some trash about the Rock and finally said bring on the Rlock! The Rock walked out quickly and circled the ring. Rock said he was going to come out, look Cena in the eye, and tell the world what he saw. Rock said he sees fear in Cena’s eyes, fear that he will take everything away. Rock said Cena had not shaken his confidence. Rock said if you strip everything from the Rock’s core, he will still rip Cena’s throat out. Rock said at Cena’s core he will always be a little boy who will go down in history as the Rock’s bitch. Rock exited. Cena said Rock will have to rip his throat out to beat him. Cena said if Rock beats him, he loses everything, but if Rock thinks he’s lost his confidence he has lost his mind! Cena said at WrestleMania he will make history by whippin’ the Rock’s ass! Cena jumped into the front row with some of his buddies and drank a cool beverage. Cena then got in the ring and played to his hometown fanbase. Cena then got out and hugged his dad in the front row.
