January 23, 2000 - New York City, NY- Madison Square Garden -
- Tazz defeated Kurt Angle
Tazz made his WWF debut with a squash over Kurt Angle,
who was choked out by the Human Suplex Machine.
- Hardy Boyz defeats The Dudley Boyz
The Hardy Boyz won this table match when Jeff Hardy
Senton bombed off a balcony onto D-Von Dudley, who
was laid-out on a table.
- Miss Royal Rumble Swimsuit Competition
Mae Young defeats BB, Ivory, Terri, Kat,
Mae Young won the first ever Miss Royal Rumble Swimsuit
Competition after she removed her top.
- Chris Jericho defeats Chyna and Hardcore Holly
Y2J, Chris Jericho won the match when he bull-dogged
Chyna (who had Hardcore Holly in the Walls of Jericho),
and then flipped off the middle rope for the pin.
- The New Age Outlaws defeats The Acolytes
The New Age Outlaws held on to the WWF Tag Team Belts
when X-pac ran in and kicked Bradshaw when the ref
wasn't looking. Mr Ass then finished Bradshaw with
the Fame-asser.
- Championship Street Fight Match: Triple H defeats Cactus Jack
Triple H won a VERY hardcore match. Both men were repeatedly
hit with a 2x4 with barbed wire wrapped around it. Triple H
was split open early, and bled a great deal. Later on, Cactus
was handcuffed and lying on the entry ramp. Triple H was about
to hit him on the head with a chair when the Rock hit Triple H.
Cactus was then released by a police officer. After pile-driving
Triple H through the announcer's table, Cactus brought a bag
of tacks into the ring. Cactus was back-body dropped onto the
tacks and then kicked out of the Pedigree. Triple H then
pedigreed Cactus Jack on the tacks for the win.

The Rock, who entered the Rumble as number 24 found himself in a final
four of X-pac, Kane and the Big Show. X-pac managed to dump Kane onto
the floor after he stunned the big man with a kick. The Big Show then
got a hold of X-pac, pressed him over his head, and dropped him onto
the floor. The Rock and the Big Show faced off in the center of the
ring with the Rock eventually hitting the Show with the 'Peoples'
Elbow'. The Big Show managed to get an upper hand and had the Rock
over his shoulder. The Big Show ran towards the ropes to drop Rock
but propelled himself over the top. The Rock held on to the top rope,
thus becoming the winner of the 2000 Royal Rumble.
