Belfast, Ireland- The Miz frustrated with his performance over the past month, has decided enough is enough. WWE Creative maybe just be using the live show to test different reactions (they do that a lot), however the Miz face character has been flat since pretty much the start. He’s a great heel, why not use that.
If there is an official heel turn in the works, it will likely occur during a televised event, whether it’s RAW, SMACKDOWN, or PPV.
If this is the way the character of Miz is going to go, all I can say is…..THANK YOU!!!! IT’S ABOUT TIME!!!!!
David Dexter reports that The Miz recently spoke about the new WWE Title belt, continuing to act and more. Here are the highlights…
Which WWE Superstar He Wants To Work With: “I’d like to work The Rock. He was basically the person I looked at and said ‘I want to be a WWE Superstar.’ Just to watch him during the Attitude Era and to watch his matches. Not only to go up against him, but to exceed him. That’s what every WWE Superstar wants to do, whether it’s CM Punk, John Cena, you want to take it to the next level. I’ve already had that huge program with John Cena that took me to the next level, which taught me so much about the WWE, and there’s always CM Punk who is doing such a great job. He was WWE Champion for 400-plus days and is still on a roll. Those are great superstars who you want to get. You always want to be at the top.”
Former WWE Champion/Intercontinental Champion/multi-time Tag Team Champion and star of “The Marine 3: Homefront” Mike “The Miz” Mizanin joined “2012 Award Winning Best New Show” the Rack Thursday Night. In a nearly 15 minute interview, he discussed his upcoming film ‘The Marine 3: Homefront’ and what it was like working with co-stars Neal McDonough and Ashley Bell, his own personal expectations in life, the WrestleMania experience, working with Ric Flair and people comparing him to be ‘the next Ric Flair’, he thoughts on the new WWE Title design, being well-dressed in the WWE locker room, the special nature of his ring jackets and more.
WWE Main Event’s first title match turned the WWE Universe upside down as Kofi Kingston defeated The Miz to capture his fourth Intercontinental Championship. The heated battle provided Kingston with an opportunity to prove he is once again a serious singles competitor following his amicable split with tag team championship partner R-Truth.
Here is a recent interview with Mike “The Miz” Mizanin published recently by Metro.co.uk:
Why did you want to become a wrestler?
When I was a kid, I was inspired by those larger-than-life characters such as Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior. I did the reality show The Real World, which made me realise I could do anything I wanted to in life. I’m from Ohio and the expectation was you go to high school, then college, then come home and get a job and a family and that’s where you stay. The Real World showed me I don’t have to do that small city thing – I wanted to become a WWE Superstar and I did it.
