It all started out innocently enough. Now reputations have been shattered, blood has been spilled and people are scarred forever.Delirious was never known as being smooth with the opposite sex. Daizee Haze had an impeccable reputation in the locker room. She had never dated a wrestler. In fact, she was always seen as just one of the guys. Soon Haze and Delirious found themselves with some common rivals. They started to watch each others backs in matches. A friendship grew. Delirious then developed a crush on Haze. Many in the locker room thought it was cute as Delirious stumbled each time he tried to ask Haze out. Daizee, naive herself, was unaware of Delirious’ infatuation. Then came along Rhett “Addicted To Love” Titus.
Rhett had gained a reputation in the locker room as a ladies man. In fact, there was no lady that he wouldn’t go home with. Sometimes they were hot, sometimes not so much. One thing that was sure was that Rhett was out to score. He thought he could really impress his peers if he was the first wrestler to get with Haze. Titus did his best to manipulate the situation as seen in ROH Video Wires at ROHvideos.com and on recent DVDs. He played the nice guy while he continually managed to interrupt Delirious’ attempts to ask Haze out. Delirious and Haze were no match for Titus when it came to the games of love.
It all came to a head at “Death Before Dishonor VI” in Manhattan. Delirious finally disposed of Titus and asked Haze out. However, Haze told Delirious that she wanted to remain friends. When you look at the situation and those involved closely you can understand Haze’s point of view. She has never dated a wrestler. He reputation was unblemished. She was one of the boys and she wanted to stay that way. She never tried to lead Delirious on and if she did she didn’t realize what she was doing. However, Delirious was hurt.
Meanwhile, Titus showed everyone that would watch a video he took on his cell phone. The video was finally made public in the most recent ROH Video Wire and it mentally destroyed Delirious. The video showed Rhett in Haze’s bedroom, laying on Haze’s bed while boasting that he is the first wrestler to make his way in between Haze’s sheets. Since the video became public Haze has denied that anything happened. However, the damage was already done and Haze’s reputation is tarnished. Her friends are saying that she is having a very hard time dealing with it. This will be a situation to keep an eye on.
Delirious now found himself alone and confused. Jimmy Jacobs, sensing a vulnerability, recruited Delirious into The Age Of The Fall. Jacobs is no stranger to the pain that love can bring and he convinced Delirious that he could relate to him. The result saw Jacobs get into Delirious’ head. Delirious, now dark and disturbed, went on a rampage in his first weekend under the influence of Jacobs. He got his revenge on Titus by busting “Addicted To Love” open in a bloodbath in Cleveland. However, Delirious showed how heartless he has become when he ended the career of former partner Pelle Primeau in Chicago at the urging of Jacobs. There is only black where Delirious’ heart once was. All this will be documented in a future ROH Video Wire.
The worst part in all this is that Haze now realizes she made a mistake by giving Delirious the “friend” line. It might be too late as Jacobs has a firm influence on Delirious. Daizee now finds her reputation in shambles and she has lost a friend. Delirious has become a monster in The Age Of The Fall. Innocence has been replaced by pain. There is no telling what the future brings for these changed individuals.
